Post IVF line eyes

Had IVF for DC after years of trying. Hardly ever POAS. Started TTC naturally before going back for IVF later this year.

This is a 3+ year old internet cheapy which I looked at after 10 mins (got in shower). I’m CD35. DTD on CD 17 and 19 when saw EWCM but Clear Blue didn’t go Peak until Cd21 (didn’t DTD then).

Anyway assume it’s an evap line on an expired test but any thoughts welcome. I do have an expired FRER I could try but guess I’ll need to hold the wee for a few hours.

If past the time limit it could be an evap. However, I do see a line. I really hope it's a true line ☺️

Thank you. I think the fact it’s such an old test adds to the evap line theory. Wish I hadn’t done it now and just waited for AF like I used to in my former TTC days. I clearly had more patience then

How long would you ‘hold’ before doing a FRER?

Could just be faulty with it being an old test but I do see a line. And it looks pink.

I would try and hold for at least 3 hours before the FRER. Good luck and let us know! I have everything crossed for you.

Sorry to keep returning but just did a FRER (a year out of date but still sealed in box) after a 4 hour hold. Photo taken after 6 mins but line came up after the 3 mins it said. Looks positive to me? Guess I should buy an in date one and have ago with FMU.

No picture of the FRER but the cheapie looks very positive. I’ve had a natural surprise after IVF and I’m here for the absolute mash of emotions x

Thank you @LividLaVidaLoca Hard to believe it to be honest. IVF was after years of trying. Worry now is that because I didn’t use to test in my former TTC life that maybe I’m prone to early loses. Who knows. All I can do is hope I guess. Now to tell OH…

Congratulations, I had a spontaneous pregnancy after IVF and also used out of date tests the perfectly valid result is currently fast asleep in my arms having spread his cold germs right through the household.

That definitely looks positive but get an in date test just to be sure. Tentative congratulations.

Thanks @Cas112 and @BeingATwatItsABingThing I will definitely get an in date test this evening but I think it’s more likely an out of date one would show a false negative than a false positive. As the saying goes ‘there’s only one reason to have HCG in your body’. Plus the pack was new and sealed not just loitering around the bathroom for 3 years getting damp. Hopefully so at least.

They look positive. When I got pregnant after 8 years of infertility the cheapy internet test was vv faint. However a proper new test with first thing in the morning wee came up loud and clear. All fingers crossed for you.

@UnconditionalSurrender I’ll never forget the moment I got the positive result with IVF for my now 2 year old. It was more relief than anything.

@123walrus here's hoping the morning test is also positive!!

I have fallen naturally after ivf for my DC (22 months!) only 5 weeks so early days but hope the same is true for you!!

Second out of date FRER was positive albeit less dark. Have a clear blue for the morning…
