Ovulation testing!!!

Hi all

So I’ve started ovulation testing again this cycle, I had stopped a few cycles ago because it was too much stress but here we are trying again…

Now, we’re on cycle 9 and obviously, we’ve had no luck, I had what I think was a chemical around cycle 4.

Anyway, back to the tests, I’m on cd10, I’ve only taken a couple of tests so far as they didn’t come for a while! But they don’t seem to be changing much in colour, I don’t know if it’s just me who's thinking they don’t look much different because I’m so worried that I’m not even ovulating (stupid I know, but I can’t help the worry) I keep thinking something should’ve happened by now…

Please tell me there isn’t anything to worry about and they do look like there’s a difference in colour, only worried as I’m using Premom and they're saying 0.01😬x

Hello @Chlo1995 the opks confuse me too! I’m only cycle 2 ttc and I keep googling to see other peoples tests lol and I have seen a lot of ladies literally go from nothing one day to peak the next out of nowhere and some are up and down and then peak. Not everyone’s slowly progresses each day.

I’m on CD12 I think and mine have been abit all over the place tbh. I would say just keep texting. CD10 is still early.

It’s and absolute minefield isn’t it, I remember when I was testing before they’d be pretty dark which is why I’m now worrying.

I suppose cd10 is still pretty early, I’m only on 5 days after af finished so I’m just gonna keep testing and see what happens!

It really does go from nothing to something. I’m on CD17 and had extremely faint line until today where it’s much clearer. I forgot to take a pic for CD16 but it looked exactly the same as CD15.

@Chlo1995 in my photo my CD10 is the top one too so mine actually have gotten lighter rather than darker according to the app but pretty much I feel like to look at in person they’ve just all looked the same everyday.

I wouldn’t worry if I was you. I’ve deffo seen ladies with lighter lines than you and then suddenly they get a peak out of nowhere (from googling lol).

Just thought I’d add I just did another one and got a 0.4 (3rd one I’ve taken today) still negative but I’ve had 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 today and tomorrow is when my app is saying peak is. I would deffo say try to test twice a day and then maybe even more times around suspected peak days

Well things seem to have jumped this afternoon, not too sure it’s accurate because the one earlier this afternoon looks fainter than yesterdays!😬x

The amount of lh in your body fluctuates throughout your cycle so don't worry about it going fainter/darker at this stage @Chlo1995. It isn't a clear increase as time goes on. If you normally ovulate around this time just keep testing and wait for your peak. That's the line that matters! I don't ovulate until cd19/20 so never really test as early as you have. Good luck x

So today is ovulation day (predicted) I’ve got cramps, like little random twinges BUT still not had a peak and every test has still been low😬

My last 2 cycles have been 29 days but my average is around 27… I’m just so confused that I’ve had no peak of even any high readings! What do I do now? I’m worrying…

P.s the easy@home is also in the easy@home tab, I’ve just put it in both so I can see all at once😂😂

Hello @Chlo1995 don’t panic. Last cycle I got my peak OPK on CD13 and this cycle my app said I was ovulating on CD13 so was expecting my peak on CD12 but all my OPKs were low. I was really worrying. Last night I even started to think am I not going to ovulate at all. Then today I got my peak. This morning pretty much out of nowhere on CD16. Yours will come keep testing

The same. My opks peaked crazily yesterday on CD21 evening out of nowhere. I already didn’t expect to see this. I was pretty sure I ovulate on CD13-15 according to CB, but it’s the first month I’m using Premom sticks.

@Newbiemg @GingerFox2021 thank you both of you! That’s reassuring for me, I suppose I am only cd14 so still pretty early.

Just can’t help but always think there’s something wrong, now I remember why I stopped testing before, it’s a nightmare!!😂

Don't panic @Chlo1995! It's still fairly early for you. I don't ovulate until around cd18/19 in a 29 day cycle. Just keep doing your tests and you'll get there x

@Newbiemg a bit more of a jump so looking good! I’m just getting quite frustrated with it now as it’s still not given a high reading yet, I really shouldn’t be stressing myself out over this😂x

It is so frustrating doing them every day until you see your peak! Wait til your TWW 😂 x

@Chlo1995 this looks abit like mine it went up like that and then I got a high yesterday morning CD16 which I thought was my peak but then it got higher and said my peak was lastnight…

can i ask you what app you are using to get the readings?! x
