Oh that must have been really hard to hear @aesgriff 😞 I don't think pregnancy announcements will get any easier while we're not pregnant, no matter how long it's been x

@Cruz86 it's driving me mad honestly I keep getting pains down low and my boobs hurt and yes my oh is getting on my nerves! Then I'm thinking is it all in my head 🤔🤣 u going to cave too 🤣🙌👀 xx

@Skl2021 I am the same! Im 11 dpo now (I think) and have tested 3 times now even though all are BFN and it's still early! Boobs are killing and period type pain I think AF will be on her way soon but still hopeful as ever until she arrives lol I also cannot keep any tests in the house!

Well, AF is starting up. This month felt extra cruel as I had the exact symptoms that led to my BFP last time. Everything down to the slow shift in cm from watery to creamy. I'm also absolutely shattered as DD has a horrible cold and cough and only wants mummy in the middle of the night.

Off to have dinner with a friend tonight (if DD is well enough) and she's about 10 weeks after a round of IVF. I'm thrilled for her, she's gone through so much loss herself, but I had let myself think that our beans would be 6 weeks apart if we both got lucky this time.

Having a bad day today, folks. Will use the blasted OPKs next cycle and then honestly we may need to take a TTC break for a bit. My heart breaks every month.

@Shortmamashortcycles I’m so sorry :( I hope you can relax enough to enjoy your dinner. But don’t go if you don’t feel up to it.

@Skl2021 I know what you mean about the excitement of the test! 😆
Still waiting for EPU to call me. I'll be seriously pissed off if there's still something left. I want to get on with TTC plus I'm in my fertile window...😡
Only reason I think is that I had a little dig around inside for CM and it was there ( sorry for TMI🙈) but blood tinged. Not sure if that's normal? AF finished Monday...x

@PamelaDoov, thanks hun! Hope you're doing ok. I told you there'd be good days and bad days - CD1 is always one of the latter. A good cry has sorted me out though, at least for now.

@aesgriff I get that; I'm waiting for "BIG NEWS" from a few people at the moment, readying my very fake "that's great!!!!" which isn't even fair--I don't know what all their stories are; everyone deserves to be happy. I want them to be happy lol I just don't want scan photos IN MY FACE.

@Shortmamashortcycles I'm sorry :( It is so much easier to be the guy in the situation; I know they're hurting, too, but they don't have to go through the physical cycles of it all/have all the evidence of whatever is going on LITERALLY ON/IN THEM constantly. Echoing the sentiment that you don't have to go--I remember someone once telling me this, in very different circumstances, that I could say no to something that was gonna be hard. I still struggle to do it, but it actually helped, and I thought, huh, I could just not.

Well I think I’ve finally stopped bleeding for good now. It feels more ‘normal’. So I could be ovulating next week.

@Ganesh2022, thanks love. The worst thing is that I was so excited to go! I had covid before Xmas and that meant I couldn't see people then, and with a small kid, especially one who is prone to extreme preference for Mummy, PLUS needing to keep evenings clear for DTD in FW means... I feel like a hermit. I never do anything! I hate it.

I'm not too bad @calimc83, I'm trying to limit my mumsnet use a bit to once/twice a day! Currently at estimated 4DPO, keeping my fingers crossed its happened this month🤞 hope you hear back from EPU soon💖💖 hoping that its just taking AF a bit longer to finish for you💖

@aesgriff you aren't alone🤣 I've thought about a syringe being handy especially when work schedules don't match up😅
That must've been so difficult hearing about your colleague, its that ache around what could've been☹ don't get why she felt the need to announce in your team meeting! I really hope your okay💖💖

Lock them away till at least 8DPO now @skl2021🙈 put them on top of the fridge or something 😅💖

Loads of messages to catch up on today, everyone feeling social today! @skl2021 nooo put down those tests! Leave your pee untested 😂 day 7 always feels like day 10 for me, and I'm always surprised that it's still week 1 of the tww.
Today's FW quickie ended abruptly as husband was getting a teams call (he forgot to put his status as 'busy') . If this is our month, the baby will be named after his boss...

@Skl2021 I know!! Trying to stay away from the opks as much as I can so just going with my App and CM..😬..so I'm probs a bit early but 🤷‍♀️..
Spoke to the EPU said it all sounded pretty normal and my cycles are probs still a bit off since the MC. Just said it's probs just the very end of AF, if I get any bleeding in between AF then to re contact them so it's put my mind at rest xx

@Sparklesurprise29 meant to tag u in that last post as well 🙈 glad u are ok! I'm also trying to limit my MN use but getting drawn back in again..Will u be testing soon ish or just going to wait it out? X

@Shortmamashortcycles Hope you are ok, I've been through/going through a similar situ with a close friend. She's 20ish weeks after IVF. I was a week behind..I'm so thrilled for her but my god it hurts at the same time...😔 xx

@Cruz86 EPU seemed to think all was normal...I would of liked a scan for reassurance but 🤷‍♀️..sounds like you've been getting some exciting symptoms!! X

@Skl2021 erm.....I do have a job lot of around 30 or so to get through so maybe it wouldn't hurt to do a few 😆😆 x

Oh @calimc83, it's very tough - such a cocktail of emotions. I would have loved to have had maternity leave at a similar time to her. My DD was 2 weeks ahead of her first bean which didn't make it - so I honestly, truly am desperately hoping this time it all goes well for her, but it felt like it would have been so perfect for both of us to eventually have kids at roughly the same time. I guess there's another month or so for that to still be true-ish!

Glad the EPU went ok, but yeah, that feeling of your body not quite working properly is maddening and worrying!
