Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

Hi ladies checking in. Still waiting for the bleeding to start now 2 days late but bfn and feel more comfortable in this thread x

htay21 · 16/01/2022 12:50
@htay21 Have you always had this Luteal phase issue? Mine only started after my 2nd Covid vaccine and I'm about 7/8 days like you.
I saw on the internet that Vitamin C 750mg can help to increase the Luteal phase so this is my first month trying that! Also trying to lose weight.

I'm going to go to the GP too. Will let you know what they've said once I go! I hope progesterone is the answer.
Thank you!

I'm already taking 100mg B6 but also going to start 1000mg of Vit C this month and hope I see an improvement over the next few months.

I also need to lose weight 😩 worried the doctors won't do anything until I do

Please keep me updated on what they say ☺️ x

Hi everyone, please can I join? Today is CD1 for me, I’m TTC No2 and February will be month 3 after a MC in October…
….let’s hope February is lucky for all of us!

HelloNope · 16/01/2022 15:42

@htay21 I'm worried too that they won't do anything until I lose weight :( but I'll speak to them anyway.
I'll get some B6 too, thanks for that :)

I made another thread about TTC with a Luteal phase defect and a few ladies on there said they managed it! So I got some hope x

mightbeyesmightbeno · 16/01/2022 17:31

Thanks for starting the thread! Nice (and sad) to see some familiar names. Am CD1 after a few days spotting. This is month 4 of TTC #2. Have had a couple of chemicals and this month. And periods seem to be a little less regular than they were. Blaming my covid booster, hoping it not my age.y grandmother went through full menopause by the time she was 34. I'm 35 now, 36 this year and hoping it's not genetic. My GP said if I wasn't pregnant this month then he'd do some bloods and an ultrasound to check a few things out so will call tomorrow and get that started just to check. I know it's not been long time to try as yet but I've had a few "off" bloods in the past so if he's offering to check at this point then I won't refuse.

kizzy97 · 16/01/2022 17:56

Reserving my place here as I'm not confident January is my month. Will be Cycle #4 TTC #2

Brunette1989 · 16/01/2022 21:46

Hi Ladies,
Hope you're all okay 😊
I've been using the premom app and noticed a couple of others have used it. I'm meant to be in my fertile window but the readings I seem to get our really low compared to other people's.
Does anybody know if this is really bad?
Thanks xxx

@Brunette1989 mine are the same showing low although I should be in my fertile window and it's my first time using them also? I'm just going to stick to clearblue aswell to be on the safe side I think

Brunette1989 · 16/01/2022 22:04

@arianasky yeh really confused by it. It says 1.0 or above is a good 'score' as such. I've been using clearblue this month aswell and Friday I got a smiley face, never got a flashy smiley. So my mind is rather blown xx

Decaffe · 16/01/2022 22:08

None of those tests are positive @Brunette1989. Keep testing and logging twice a day. You may be like me and have a surge that comes on very quickly! Don’t worry. It’s coming! Smile

Hello friends old and new, marking my space for the Feb cycle 🤍✨
I’ll be due AF 17th Feb which is the date we got engaged - and I could test on Valentine’s Day!

Could be a sign, could be a shambles, we got this … roll on my cycle #4 …

contagioushippie · 17/01/2022 00:40

Hi Ladies,

I'm joining for Feb. TTC for #1 this would be our 3rd cycle. I have PCOS and on Metformin.

Well did a test this morning FMU and was BFN. Just wondering where my AF is now. Just want to get it over with so I can get Cycle #4 rolling

arianasky · 17/01/2022 08:32

@Brunette1989 that's even more confusing if you got a static smiley? I have only had blank circles so far but I normally don't have any flashing just a static smiley.

Brunette1989 · 17/01/2022 09:27

@arianasky
Oooh looks like we will be testing on the same day 1st Feb from the countdown.
Yeh I went from a circle on Thursday to a static smiley on Friday no flashy, but then premoms saying my score isn't high yet. The apps I use to track my periods which then suggest when you're ovulating say I'm not due to ovulate till Tuesday, the tests suggest it's earlier. Which is rather sad as my OH wasn't well yesterday and is away today so only had a couple chances before then. Its all very draining to try and stay positive at times I think. Xxx

Curlywurly3 · 17/01/2022 09:42

Morning everyone! I hope you all had a good go at enjoying your weekend.

Welcome to all new joiners, some names I recognise and some new ones too. Here’s hoping February is our month! 🤞🏻

I made plans to see lots of friends over the weekend to take my mind off TTC. I even went to the gym for the first time in a good while (then I started to wonder how exercising and using the spa may affect TTC 🤦🏼‍♀️)
I’ve bought one of those 2.2L water bottles that has time stamps on it to remind you to drink the daily recommendation.
I’m also going to cut down on drinking as DH and I do tend to have wine most nights with dinner. I did get pregnant with DD without making any changes but I think it’s the right thing to do. I’ve had 2 chemicals and an early miscarriage so wondering if alcohol could be a factor… Gosh I sound like a right lush! 🙈
CD4 today and AF is wrapping up. I usually O around CD12 so will start using OPK’s soon.

Curlywurly3 · 17/01/2022 10:10

Just out of interest, how long does everyone’s AF go on for?

OP posts:
MummyMe87 · 17/01/2022 10:28

@Curlywurly3 mine used to be 5 days, then had a mirena coil and would be like 4-7days of very light, coil out in November time and I’ve had three periods I think, seems to be 3-4days, but fairly heavy at the start which I’m not used to. I ovulate about CD13

BigAlice · 17/01/2022 11:11

@Curlywurly3 mine is 5 days, starts off heaving and then tapers off

Queenkai14 · 17/01/2022 11:15

My periods always last 3 days

Bringonbaby3 · 17/01/2022 11:20

Mine is usually about 5/6 days but only heavy for 2-3 days. Sometimes I also get spotting before/after for a day or so.
