Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

Also they pump a dyed liquid up to the Fallopian tubes, so any blastocyst there would be washed out Sad
@RosyappleA

How often are you having sex before the 2 static days?

I got the static smiley on the 24th Jan. We did it 20th, 22nd 24th and 25th which worked x
Thanks for the reply so i guess it is better to cover both static days. This is the only month when i actually did every other day plus the static days too. Not feeling any different at all now 7DPO.

Peonies94 · 06/02/2022 15:31

Congratulations @Nico89 @Curlywurly3 and everyone else! I have another week until I test at 11DPO! I find the second half of TWW the hardest, as first week you know it’s too early to symptom spot!

Those positive, any symptoms?

sending love to those who had negatives and those in TWW waiting to test!

oldermam · 06/02/2022 16:28

Congrats on the bfps ladies!!!

Hope everyone is well.

I'm currently 7dpo. Have mild cramping today. So fingers crossed this is implantation 🙏🏻

Brunette1989 · 06/02/2022 16:30

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I've not been on the thread for a bit, been trying to get my anxiety under control. I've found TTC so hard and I just feel I obsess over it, then everyone tells me how I need to relax and I just don't know how to. So have been trying to find things to keep my mind occupied. Do any of you have any tips on keeping your mind busy?
Wow so many BFP's on this thread! Congratulations to you all such lovely news.
I had AF on the 1st and then my app says 27th I will be due again so will be ovulating in the next week or so. My OH's on a stag do for most the time i would be good to try so I'm not hopeful at all which is dishearting.
Sending you all lots of baby dust for the rest of this month xxx

TeddyBeans · 06/02/2022 16:30

Congratulations to all the new positives! I caved at the supermarket today and bought a couple of tests. Ovia says to test tomorrow - I'll be 11dpo 🤞

Diamondbabe · 06/02/2022 16:59

@J90A sorry to hear it's been a long time. That must be so tough. How often are you doing the deed before the FW and during it? Have you thought about possibly giving up drink not sure if you do drink but I read that can really help and to watch weight. I'm sure you've been told this but anything that helps. I often think it's just luck too. I'll be thinking of you x

Diamondbabe · 06/02/2022 17:01

I didn't feel any different and looks like you did it on the same schedule as us! Fingers crossed :) this is a lucky thread so who knows! X

Diamondbabe · 06/02/2022 17:05

The first month of trying I always go a bit mad. But the second month I just try to chill. The best way to distract myself during the TWW is to book things in like meal, coffee meet up with friends, walk, cinema, date nights etc. keeping busy is by far the best thing. I also find actually keeping off here to be honest does help. If I check this every day and read people symptom spotting etc and wanting to test it makes me more like that. But equally lots of people like the support and it helps them during this time so I think it's pretty personal. Hope that helps x

☹️
Decaffe · 06/02/2022 17:33

I know @mightbeyesmightbeno. To be honest, I might get lucky. The hospital only do the HSGs one morning a week, so depending on which day it falls I might be able to get it done perhaps 48 hours before my normal ovulation date? And then just hope that my peak doesn’t come unusually early that cycle! I’ll just have to see what day AF starts this month. Am utterly without any symptoms at all so sure I am out. Just waiting for AF now.

Shiny88 · 06/02/2022 17:36

Hi @Diamondbabe can I ask which day of your cycle did you start using the clear blue ovulation tests? I'm currently on day 7 and not sure when to start using them as I started way to early last cycle 🙈

MrsSamRowley · 06/02/2022 18:39

Congrats to all of you lovely ladies - sooooo many BFPs! Must be a lucky thread!

I'm feeling a but disheartened - went to stay with my parents this weekend as I usually ovulate late and we were only staying 1 night (CD12) and thought it might be good to have a night off thinking about TTC but today I've had a peak OPK and my husband is currently asleep on the sofa with a stinking cold! Can't see him wanting to DTD tonight and my daughter has been waking up at about 5am ready for the day so tomorrow morning is probably out too! Soooo frustrating as feel I'll basically have missed this month!

Jellysweet · 06/02/2022 19:10

Hi everyone! This is my second month lurking in the background of this (and last month's) thread. I'm on month 4 ttc. Currently CD11. I have endo which I'm concerned will make things difficult but staying hopeful and hoping for lots of luck from this thread :) congratulations to everyone who has had bfps so far!

mightbeyesmightbeno · 06/02/2022 20:40

Keeping fingers crossed the dates align!
RosyappleA · 06/02/2022 20:48

@MrsSamRowley ah i feel your pain i checked my apps and the only time i have actually been allowed by my diva daughter to even try is the last month since i miscarried in October. The other months I could just about dtd one or twice that week. Something which never occurred to me before trying is that I would be so exhausted with her sleeping patterns to even dtd. I hope you get lucky and its the odd random day dtd that is enough to get you pregnant!
@Diamondbabe thanks for that advice I too need to really distract myself the best I can. This is the first time I have covered the FW well I can’t do much more now (other than wear fluffy socks) lol

Another one here asking the BFP ladies when did you start feeling any different?

DancinOnTheCeiling · 06/02/2022 21:49

Hi ladies,

firstly huge congratulations to
@diamondbabe @arianasky @Curlywurly3
@Nico89 @Lndnew. Amazing news 🥳🥳🥳🥳. After I got my BFP I had been thinking that we’re due another BFP and bam, there’s 5!!!

@MummyMe87 how frustrating about the indent, 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you that it turns into a BFP.

@Purple29 I’m glad you’re feeling okay about AF arriving and seeing it as a positive that your cycle is getting back to normal.

@J90A so sorry to hear it’s been this long for you. That must very difficult. I got my BFP last Monday, and this was/is cycle 6 of TTC DC2 (DC1 was 5 cycles I think).

@decaffe how frustrating to have to miss a cycle because of your trust’s policy. Hope the appointment falls on a date before your ovulation!

@RosyappleA in terms of feeling different, in hindsight I think my teeth being sore/sensitive (and then I got a tooth infection) and my cramps being milder and not as low down as AF cramps might have been signs. And I was extremely hungry on a couple of occasions that I thought was a bit strange. I also had very crampy diarrhoea (which I did when first pregnant with DC1) so that was a possible sign, although since I was on antibiotics (toothgate) and iron tablets I thought they were the cause for the diarrhoea (and still think they could’ve been).

Sending lots of love and baby dust to everyone xxxxx

Nico89 · 06/02/2022 21:54

@brunette1989 feeling anxious just surrounding ttc or in general? I have experience of both and always happy to help. Feel free to send me a message any time.

@peonies94 complete lack of symptoms really. Sore boobs and cramping which I get as pms anyway but usually for a week before AF arrives and only had for a few days before I was expecting AF (thought she was being kind). Also thinking back I had a really wierd craving for eating/drinking the pickling vinegar from a jar of pickled onions a few days ago?! I've done it before un the past so not necessarily pregnancy related at all 😆

I'm still having a lot of cramping, only mild. Other bfp ladies is this normal? It's so long since my last pregnancy I can't remember anything and keep having to run to the loo to knicker check as I'm so convinced I'm going to bleed!

In other news I told DH today who was over the moon and I think in a bit of disbelief too !

DancinOnTheCeiling · 06/02/2022 21:59

@Nico89 aw so glad your DH was so over the moon 🥳🥳. How did you tell him? I have cramping too and think it’s normal (but it makes me anxious too) xx

Nico89 · 06/02/2022 22:09

I emptied and reconstructed a kinder egg with a note (see photo attached) then we each had one earlier so he wasn't suspicious... his main question after "are you serious?"... "what toy did I get?" 😳 big kid!

The month of valentines, pancakes and lot’s of BFP’s! 🤞🏻❤️

DancinOnTheCeiling · 06/02/2022 22:16

@Nico89 that’s genius!!! I absolutely love the idea!!! How creative and fab. I love all chocolate from Kinder actually so that makes me love it even more. Did you manage to make it look like it hadn’t been opened? That’s hilarious he asked what toy he got 🤣🤣 - big kid indeed!

DancinOnTheCeiling · 06/02/2022 22:17

Ps why the lighter?

Bundaberg84 · 06/02/2022 22:22

@DancinOnTheCeiling huh! All my teeth on my right side started hurting yesterday. Especially when I drink something cold; really weird I thought.

J90A · 06/02/2022 22:25

@Diamondbabe thanks yeah I get scans every month so I know when I'm going go to ovulate pretty accurate well down to a few days usually and use opks. Will see what this month brings!

@DancinOnTheCeiling thanks. That gives me hope as I'm only really counting the medicated cycles from when i ovulated as a proper ttc Month which makes me on cycle 6. as I have pcos with irregular ov/periods so it's been a stab in the dark prior to this. I was getting worried it should have happens by now Xx

Decaffe · 06/02/2022 22:27

@DancinOnTheCeiling

Ps why the lighter?
Maybe to melt and reseal the chocolate?

Love it @Nico89!

Thanks for the good vibes @mightbeyesmightbeno and @DancinOnTheCeiling 🥚 🤞🏻
