I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Ovulated Sunday, already symptom spotting, I need help…

Oh I’ve jinxed it badly with the optimistic ovulation date, it’s meant to be tomorrow and my LH reading is lower than ever … how late O be?!
Or is it likely I’ve skipped it this month 😪

@RosyappleA same! On 3DPO here and on cycle 4 of TTC baby no 2.
First month seriously symptom spotted and it drove me mad so swore to not do it again. Was very good last 2 cycles but today I'm Googling if lots of CM at 3DPO mean anything, even though I know it doesn't! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Can anyone help me. I got a strong positive ovulation stick yesterday. Have tender boobs and increased CM last few days. Slight cramps .

Today done another stick and it's not as positive. We had sex every day for 5 days leading up to my positive yesterday. And won't have any time with partner till tomorrow night. Do you think as today's test was negative negative I was actually already ovulating prior to my test.. if so then we had plenty sex so I'm hoping that's the case

@Peonies94 the 12th is the day my period is due- what about you?
I tend to spot around 6/7 days before my period so ill know this weekend whether I'm out or not- so depressing!
I'm having bloods to check my hormones on the 16th hoping for some answers.
I've only been TTC officially since Jan, but half heartedly since August I suppose! My cycles never used to be like this and I fell quite quickly with DC1 and DC2.

Looks like today is ovulation day and it sounds like you’ve done PLENTY!

@HelloNope it’s not no, I have really irregular cycles and I’m not even 100% I actually ovulated, so I always test 11 days later to rule out if I can! Though my LP is actually 12 days, so AF may arrive, who knows 🤷‍♀️

Ordered some pregnancy tests from Amazon, instead today came a little tub of sewing bobbies think it’s a sign not to test.

@Cmac1890 I could be wrong but an ovulation test picks up the that you’ll be ovulating in up to 48 hours. So you could have been ovulating at that very moment or up to 48hours later. So since you have been constantly at it there should be sperm waiting for the egg to come. Which means that your all good and don’t need to worry. Good luck!!

Thanks for the comments. I really didn't didn't I'd even be ovulating yet last period was 15th January. And cycle was 39 days before this. But I was feeling like I was ovulating and done the test which confirmed. So I'm hoping my cycle is back to normal now and it's worker this time. Had early miscarriage in October which made cycle to bit mental. Here goes my 2 week wait xxx

Just been to asda ended up wandering around looking at the newborn baby clothes. Not sure about anyone else but it makes me want it so much more! I also irrationally think why wouldn't it work when I couldn't of done anything different??!

Also was looking at pregnancy tests.. I have NEVER bought a pregnancy test in my life so can someone please help on where should I start 😂 bizzare. Are asdas own any good or shall I buy some easy@home ones?

@Cookiedough123 I buy the ones on eBay the internet cheapies, box of 20, the ones in the shops are more expensive. I do keep a First response or two in the house, so if I see a hint of a line, i double check with that! I had a chemical back in October so used them for that! Entirely up to you, but this is what I find the best!

Can anyone help! I’ve had DH SA results back and I think they’re okay ish, other than the morphology! I wondered if anyone else would have much of a clue if I sent them in the chat? Also, anyone who’s DP has had low sperm count and successfully had a pregnancy? Thank you ☺️

Yes! DH’s morphology was 2% in September but 6% in January! I started a thread a couple of weeks ago about the cocktail of supplements I put him on - have a search for my name. His sperm count also went up by 50%! What % is your DH?

Also to add - even when DH’s morphology was 2%, the doctor wasn’t that bothered, as the progressive motility and sperm count were good so it balanced things out. Don’t worry @Peonies94 all hope is not lost!

@Cmac1890 I’m in a similar position! I had positive ovulation stick yesterday and then this morning too. I’m 4/5 days late ovulating so wondering whether I should dtd again tonight just to be sure. I’m pretty sure I’ve ovulated today though as boobs became tender and had some cramping pains. We have had sex daily last 4 days but kind of lost the excitement the last 2 and I didn’t orgasm. Hopefully it will still count!

@Decaffe that’s amazing! Ill get him on those! Did you ask for a retest or did they just send you for a second? I’ll definitely take a look

Normal morphology is 4%, but the GP said that 2% and over is OK, so his 3% is the best worst-case scenario, if you see what I mean.

Total motile sperm being 74% is brilliant, they want it to be over 40%.

Sperm count is great - the minimum is 15 million and he’s got 99!

Volume being over 1.5ml is also good. With these numbers I’d say the 3% isn’t as much of an issue but by all means get him on some supplements and remove that laptop from his lap!

Our GP said he could be retested after three months but we didn’t get round to it over Christmas. They were absolutely fine about us doing it again

To clarify, GP didn’t say 2% was “OK,” obviously it is below normal, but in the context of the other numbers being good, then the 2% would be adequate to conceive!
