I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

I’m due to get my static smiley today and for the first time ever since TTC I’m more aware (or the lack of) of EWCM. I’ve never particularly had much CM but now I’m very aware I don’t seem to have any as I’m about to get my peak. I don’t know what’s going on! Any thoughts on conceive plus/preseed? Anyone got a BFP without much CM?

@Curlywurly3 I used to have no EWCM to speak of. Now I take evening primrose oil and red clover from CD1 to ovulation and I have ridiculous amounts. I was taking it for three months before I got pregnant with my son (who took 15 months to conceive) but I'd also had a HyCoSy so I don't know whether that had anything to do with it.

Guess I'm joining this thread now as my AF came three days early x__x Going to get the ball rolling on investigations with the GP in February as now that I'm 35 I can't afford to wait another 15 months before we get lucky again. I'm also really concerned that I'm now perimenopausal :(

I know I actually don't have a right to complain as we already have one miracle baby but... I don't know... I don't feel our family is complete yet.

Hi! Been at work so that's why I disappeared, CD7 today and started my OPKs on Sunday which are obviously low atm (haven't done todays yet but expecting that to be low)

@TheBirdintheCave I'm sorry af came for you, how long have you been trying this time? And when did you start taking the evening primrose oil? xxx

@kizzy97 Just two months this time but we have male factor fertility issues (low sperm motility) and now seemingly I have issues too.

I first took it in December 2020 (HyCoSy was 24th Dec 2019) and I found out I was pregnant 15th March 2020. I take from CD1 up until ovulation.

Finally 1DPO 🙌🏻 how is everyone this morning?

@jazmine38 congratulations 🎉

@TheBirdintheCave I'm so sorry AF has arrived for you. I have also recently started taking EPO, although haven't seen a difference in EWCM. What strength do you take? Maybe my dose it too low.

I swore to myself I would use OPK's this month and I'd be more chill about it, so what did i just do....🤦🏻‍♀️

CD12 for me and usually OV around CD16 is start of fertile window today. Been DTD every other day and going to stick with that regardless of when I get my peak.

Started with keeping my feet warm yesterday after reading @AmberRH1993 post and also a reading a few things up on it yesterday. Even if it doesn't work at least I'll have snug feet for the next 2 weeks! 😂

@Natalie2304 I'm the same, I was going to use purples method this month until my cycle went wonky on me last month, so I'm using OPKs and still just dtd every other day

@TheBirdintheCave thanks for checking. Mine are 1300 mg which I take once a day. Haven't really noticed a change. Strange!

Hi all, thanks so much for the support last week when I was so down and hopeless about everything. DH got his repeat sperm analysis back and his numbers have increased hugely which I am so pleased about. I started a thread about the supplements I put him on if anyone is interested

We are currently DTD every other day and I am due to ovulate tomorrow. In which case wondering whether to squeeze in an extra DTD tonight!!

Hugh congratulations @AmberRH1993 I have bought myself some slipper booties as I always have cold feet! Imagine if after all this time, warm feet was the way to crack it

Still in my TWW and going crazy lol.
Rang my doctors today as realised I hadn't got 'no action required' on the second set of bloods I had done when I went to them in December about not being able to conceive again. I wanted to check this was OK before I start moving doctors closer to my new home.
Receptionist said bloods were fine but will look to book me an infertility review! I said should I be worried and she was like no this is the normal next step but I'm really worried now there's something wrong. I'm 33 in April so don't feel I have time on my hand and the word 'infertility' makes me feel sick. Anybody had something like this with their doctor? xx

@Brunette1989 good to hear all ok with your bloods. I'm not sure what an infertility review is as I never had anything like it from my GP. All they did was refer me to the clinic (have they done this for you?)

Hey everyone. 4DPO here and so confused with what is going on with me 😭 ovulation day was the same as last few cycles, but this time I’ve had pink spotting on 2DPO, nothing yest and same again today. Last few cycles I’ve been spotting up to 4 days before AF & actually spoke to GP about it weeks ago and have a pelvic ultrasound in a few days, but never had spotting so soon after ovulating and never pink like this... This is cycle 8 and I’m getting a bit worried. Cycles are otherwise pretty regular and OPK charts look fine, I’ve done BBT for the first time this month and it’s shifted in line with my LH tests. I’ve ordered a medichecks at home progesterone for day 21 so guess I can see how that comes back. Why can’t it just be straightforward 🙄 sorry for the rant!

Hi ladies, bit late to the party but mind if I join? Was hoping January would be my month but AF just started today so now hoping for February! January was 1st month TTC baby number 2, my daughter is 20 months. My wedding anniversary is in February around the time my ovulation is due to be so fingers crossed that brings us some luck!

@TheBirdintheCave thank you for the recommendation. Might give that a try if this cycle hasn’t been successful. Sorry AF arrived for you, it’s so disappointing. Also, I’m 37 so at least you’re younger than me!

@Decaffe that’s amazing news!! You were so sad and deflated last week and this is a massive turn of events. So glad you’re feeling positive again!

Static smiley is due today and I’ve just taken my last CB stick, it’s ALMOST there but now I’m off to the shops again to buy another box because I JUST HAVE to see that static smiley and nice peak lines. So annoying but I know I’ll feel better when I see the smiley face not flashing back at me!

And yes fingers crossed - we couldn't have done more this month so I was really hopeful but I am 36 so I guess it just isn't going to be as easy this time!

Heeey can I join too plz! Cycle 2 here although trying to conceive baby number 2! I guess it's the first one of us really trying 'properly' with opk. Had positive one on Sunday so not sure if that makes me 1DPO?

So I had my static smiley yesterday, and I DTD Saturday night and last night and don't asks me why but I just did a OPK and got a peak, I can't DTD until Thursday now as DP is away do you think I have any chance this cycle?

@arianasky yeah would say you still have a chance sperm lives inside for between 3-7 days. So it will be there ready and waiting to meet the egg that gets released. 🤞🤞🤞
