@ttcbabya I rarely get much in the way of textbook ewcm. I did find that taking evening primrose oil from CD1 until ovulation did help increase my cm, but still not vast quantities or anywhere near as stretchy like they describe.

@Nico89 Oh really? Will look into this as I don't get any but have ovulation confirmed with OPKs and bloods.. Despite not having much EWCM, have you ever managed to fall pregnant?

Hi all,
I feel I will be out already this month. Due Friday/Saturday and getting slight cramps and spotting so feel AF is making he way. Had my little cry as was just hoping for a change in luck but doesn't seem to be. Just so hard to keep positive when it keeps not happening, its really starting to scare me that it just won't happen at all.

Hi ladies, I’m 9 DPO, got a BFN on a FRER this morning but also some blood when I wipe. Do you think this could be implantation bleeding? Apologies if this posts twice, I tried earlier but it’s not showing!!

Im starting to have the exact same symptoms I had last month so I’m about 90% sure AF is coming.

It’s hard to keep trying month after month and not feel negative and starting to blame either mine or my partners ferility … Like I know I’m ovulating and I know my DH is fertile as he’s already got a child with his ex, so it’s even more frustrating🙄 The egg and sperm are there each month yet nothing happens.

But then I need to remember that out of every 10 eggs about 4-6 are not good enough to develop into embryo so I guess we just need to keep going 😪

@ttcbabya I never really noticed ewcm but I never really overly tracked it. I fell pregnant in 2019 and again last year. I've now ordered the pre seed, which is meant to mimic the fertile cm and I'm going to try the fertility cup thing that someone mentioned on here.
I'm really paranoid now that my age and only having 1 tube that I will struggle when we start trying again so I'm getting things in place to hopefully help.
Might even book acupuncture too!!

@CJB92 I'd def still go the scan if you're still showing faint / occasional positives as it might help to shed some light.

@Purple29 I don't track CM either, not properly anyway but I know I haven't seen EWCM for a while. I was worried that something was maybe wrong and my GP kindly started running tests even before the year limit they suggest - everything looks good! Final test confirmed that I definitely ovulate. I used preseed in the cycle before this one, and well - I'm not pregnant. But I reckon I'll try again this cycle now that I know I'm definitely ovulating. I'm going to be trying your method too!

How old are you if you don't mind me asking?
As horrible as everything you've been through is, you're able to get pregnant so hopefully having only one tube left doesn't affect that too much and you get your rainbow soon 💕

@ttcbabya I have a 5.5yr old DD and have had a previous CP so managed to get pregnant in the past. If I'm honest I cannot recall if I have always had the same problem with lack of CM. I had CP first cycle ttc DD and then her 2 cycles later.

Just bought Tesco cheapie test and I know it's a bad idea because I'll be tempted to test early! Why do I do this lol

5 or 8dpo today and still bucket loads of ewcm, to the point where I'm soaked 😬 back in work today anyway so at least I can try and keep my mind off symptom spotting!

@ttcbabya no I don't mind you asking. I'm 39. Just turned in December. I would ideally love another before I'm 40, or at least to be heavily pregnant by then. But I am blessed with 1 amazing little boy so I'm trying to keep the pressure off and remind myself that I have him.

I'm so anxious going forward, with everything that's just happened and I delivered him spontaneously at 30 weeks so he was a long time in hospital and had a lot of ups and downs. So I'm a high risk pregnancy if it happens. Good luck with the method. Everything crossed for you x

Gp just called me, she said she did 2 pregnancy tests with my urine sample and both negative. I said what about the UTI you were sure I had, she said i don't have one. Which I knew. I said look, my tests this morning were pretty much negative, and the urine sample she had was SMU after 1 hour hold. So idk why she bothered. I said maybe I'm not pregnant now but i definitely was so maybe chemical. I just dont understand after all the bleeding only yesterday I got a stronger bfp. She just kept saying how she doesnt see how I could be if bloods last week were negative. I said but I was bleeding then and my line yesterday was stronger. So basically we don't know and I just have to move on. She won't do bloods but said if I really want I can go to the scan next Monday.

Sorry I'm struggling to keep up with the thread.
I tested early. I don't know why I did it! I'm only 7DPO so obviously negative.
Does anyone else just think they're out when they test early? Puts me in a terrible mood!!

@CJB92 So sorry to see the problems you're having with GP, she doesn't sound very supportive at all! Is it possible to ask to speak to someone else?

@MyloC I think if I get another bfp then I might call early pregnancy unit. Think she thinks I'm crazy to have positive tests now yet negative bloods last week

Should I be worried? 🥺 It feels like it's not progressing enough. I can't get any FRERs here 🤬

@AlmostLondoner remember hcg only doubles every 48-72 hours. The more recent are definitely darker than the earlier tests. I think you should stop testing twice a day, maybe even not every day or you will drive yourself mad with worry. Hugs

@Nico89 I know 😭 I am terrified of another chemical so I keep testing like crazy and drive myself mad about it.

@CJB92 wow, I am so sorry that you are going through this. Your GP sounds completely insensitive/incompetent. It costs next to nothing for them to send blood work just and it should be done just for your peace of mind. I'd be so worried about ectopic/if it was a MC i'd just want done with it. Hoping you can get the early check at the other center and be seen to properly x

@arianasky the tests are all over the place. I remember around day 12-13 crying on my husband as the FRERs weren't getting much darker and I bought a clearblue one with the + sign, and the first one didn't take so I thought it was out. It had indents right out of the box, and then barely picked up the control line. I was a bawling mess. Then an hour later I peed on the other one in the box and it was a + before I had even finished wiping. I honestly found the easy@home tests the best option. When I got back from the xmas journey I used them with the premom app, and because I clearly like to mentally torture myself I put them in the "LH tests" section where they tell you the % that you are ovulating for ovulation strips. lo and behold, it gave me daily line progression with a calculated %. Mine were from day 16 DPO onwards though and I know you are a ways from there. My tests were very faint until day 15ish then started increasing a lot. Hoping that time is the solution that you need. Let us know how you get on with getting to Thursday, at least only 2 more days to go x

@arianasky Fingers crossed for you, a positive is a positive right?! Hope it's all going to be ok and you're still in until AF arrives.

@CJB92 I've also heard for years that if you're pregnant and ovulation test would come up positive. I've never googled this though.

This thread moves so fast I can't keep up at all 😂

I usually spot 6 days before my period is due (so Friday) if I don't start spotting I'm going to feel excited! And at least if I do I'll know AF is coming...
I've had implantation bleeding once before and it's nothing like what my spotting is!

@madeleine85 Thank you! I mentioned how I was worried it was ectopic and she said it won't be as my bloods on 30th Dec came back

I've heard that too before in the past, so keep thinking thats what it may be. I've had an almost positive opk for 2 to 3 days now. Just hoping as the next few days go by I'll know more, either bfp or bfn and move on. But Dr isn't going to be of anymore help.
