Wow that last bus was an amazing bumper BFP filled bus where we were all crying and screaming for joy as lots of our lovely passengers got their BFPs…🙌🏻we are having an ADVENT CALENDAR of a BFP each day! 🥰❤️

There’s still some ppl lingering on this bus so that’s it, I’m calling time, all the rest of you are due off this bus with your 2 lines please 🤞🏻

This is the bus where we’ve got lots of things going on, bumps, rainbows 🌈, ivf, and now lots more miracle BFPs before ivf! Maybe we should issue passengers with an ivf referral on your way in too to help spur those eggs & sperm into action!

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

Hello everyone! It's been a manic few days but PROGRESS had been made! My body actually played ball and I only had a 32 day cycle, which means I didn't need to wait for meds to force a period this month as I came on exactly when I would've done with the meds had the doctor not been away and unable to sign off on the treatment plan. So I have a date to start the Northisterone and a promise that they've left a message for the doctor to sign off on the treatment plan this weekend once she's back, meaning I should get the drugs next week. It's all a bit exciting! ...I may be waiting for it all to go wrong...

@MrsBiddy I've got PCOS too (recently diagnosed) and I'm doing WW to help with the weight loss. I lost two stone with it previously and have just happily maintained until the doctor was like "I know you're under 30 BMI but seriously consider losing more weight" 🙄 so I'm back on it properly again

@MrsBiddy they did indeed. It's because my BMI is 28 and so it's still over the "healthy" range. Treatment is still going ahead, I think the doctor just had to give it as a recommendation because it's over 25.

@Manifestingbaby the big black holes are what they look for when you go for your scans to do ivf. They are the follicles and that's what they measure. They start out tiny and end up around 18mm (depending on clinic) at which point they trigger you. Those there are still what's left! They should reduce but clearly aren't hurrying and they'll be full of blood and puss (nice). Obviously the eggs were taken from them at EC. You can see how big mine still are!
@Minster2012 yes I definitely think you need to take it easy! Slow down woman!

@InkyPaper exciting about the progress! Fingers crossed it won't be much longer. And my bmi was 26. something when I did it.

Interestingly on the weight loss talk- I think I forgot to say on here. But since starting ivf I have somehow lost 6lb?! 🤔🤣 I spent months doing emkfit things and never lost a bean! (I gave up with that long ago). So I'm not really sure how that happened? 🤷‍♀️

@Somatronic I'm sorry you are feeling rubbish with AF & house shit. do you have a friendly neighbour you could ask for a shower? Or second the idea of friends? It's fine we think @larrythelizard has won the lottery so it might be ok on the ivf front 😂

One thing I am enjoying on the pregnancy sub section of MN is all the food fears... There's one on there today asking if her baby will be okay as she's eaten a dominos and maybe the veg weren't cleaned enough? There's another one saying she is sad she won't be able to have tiramisu this Christmas because it has a bit of coffee in... But my favourite was one the other day that panicked because she'd eaten both fish and chicken in one meal and was worried she'd harm the baby from cross contamination 😂.

@Juno231 🤣 I've not thought to look at those. But how ridiculous? Interestingly the clinic lady yesterday did tell me to avoid buffets etc around Xmas though. But to be honest I don't think I'll see any. For the record- I don't like tiramisu either. 🤭

@Juno231 🤣Cross contamination made me laugh! Yes the fertility clinic said I could try letrozole in the intermediate while we make up our minds about going for private ivf. Obviously doesn't change the male factor side of things so not placing too much hope in it but can't hurt.

Actually speaking of letrozole if anyone who has been on it can answer. Are you usually offered scans to monitor how you respond? I wasn't offered any and thought I'd seen it said here or other threads before. Or is that clomid?

No I literally haven't opened it @Manifestingbaby - we weren't meant to be trying until end of March so was going to hit the supplements hard from after Xmas 😬

@Manifestingbaby I've seen some woman go without monitoring scans but the norm seems to be to have them. Otherwise they have no clue how you're reacting to the meds, if you're at risk of multiples or OHSS. Will you be using a trigger? You said you have low AMH though right - maybe that's why they're less worried about you ending up with twins/triplets 😬

So an electrician checked out the shower and said it's a major problem that involves the box with the trip switches and lots of other electrics as well as a new shower and he can't do it until the New Year. So having moved home yesterday after a month living like a vagabond I now have to pack up all my shit again, including Christmas presents, enough stuff for 3 or 4 weeks away and move to my parents' house again tomorrow.

We're getting a quote tomorrow but I have a funny feeling it will be quite expensive so I think I can kiss my IVF plans for early next year goodbye. I'm in work blinking back tears trying to look normal.

@Juno231 I can honestly say I've never been poisoned in my life. But I suppose its just being cautious. Right. I have 2 issues.
One - this effing tinnitus in my right ear. Its driving me crackers. 😭 Had it for over a week now.
Two - DH had beef broth soup for dinner. How on earth does it smell so strong and like curry? But I can't bear to be in my own house. This smell thing is really bloody annoying. I've always been sensitive to be honest but this is a whole new level. 🤣

Can anything be done for tinnitus @paintfairy?? My ears are popping on country roads which I find weird, I wonder if it's linked? Beef broth? Can't really suggest anything on the weird smelling front I'm afraid

Also ladies, if I make it to my 12 week scan and everything is looking okay, I have a box of lots of easy@home opks that @blackcurrantqueen kindly sent me once she knew everything was okay with her pregnancy, I'd love to pass them on and hopefully they can bring the luck they brought to us two, to someone else!

I'm not actually ttc yet but have found myself reading posts for the last few days and I don't think there's a nicer community than the ttc community!

I'm in a bit of an unusual situation. Had the coil out earlier this year and was planning to start trying next year. Had a "whoops" moment around ovulation day and have been convinced I'm pregnant since about 4DPO (I know symptoms are so unlikely then) but either I am or I'm noticing a whole bunch of symptoms I've always had that have gone unnoticed? 2 x BFN yesterday and today. AF due on Sunday and but both me and my BF were gutted when there was no line?!

@larrythelizard lol great so if just buying it does the trick 🤣

@Juno231 that's what I thought, that scans were the norm. Yes very low amh so tgey probably have no fear of multiples. No no trigger. I do seem to ovulate on my own but early so I think the hope was it might push ovulation out a couple of days for better eggs?
