TTC December thread

This part is nearly as bad as the TTW - waiting for AF to be over and to be able to crack on!

By my calculations we'll all know before Christmas if the next cycle has been a success for us - so hopefully either way happiness or sadness there will be lots of opportunities for lovely family time x

I’m 7dpo today, hate the tww.
My husband and I have a spa evening next Friday when AF is due, so I would love to find out then and tell him there ❤️

@Glago2017 Did you get symptoms later on? And my previous pregnancy I had the same as what I'm feeling now, but my previous pregnancy wasn't planned and didn't take a test until I was 5 weeks gone, so can't say how early it was that I started with symptoms if that makes any sense xx

I've not thought about symptoms or anything too much but have just sat and thought I've not really had anything. My AF is due monday and normally by now I have sore nipples, bloating and night sweats and vivid dreams. I've had the dreams but I've not got any of my other pre period symptoms. I thought I was out only dtd once in fertile window 2 days before O but this does seem a bit odd for me to have no AF symptoms

@kizzy97 in the first trimester I was just really tired and felt a bit sick at night so couldn't eat dinner but apart from that didn't really have many symptoms. X

@mightbeyesmightbeno no he was working today so done it myself. Took a cheapie this morning and couldn't really see anything so took a rapid response and saw a faint line. Thanks to some lovley ladies on here who told me they are not that sensitive went and got an early detection and got my bnp! Can't believe it! X

I'm excited! After my post worrying this morning this just happened. We have, quite luckily spent the afternoon in bed 🙈 I'm off on my works do now but we will try again later no doubt! And tomorrow. I was worried my age and the coil for ten years I wouldn't ovulate..

@mightbeyesmightbeno yes I've told him now so we r excited. Going to wait and tell our parents on Xmas day, would wait a bit longer but won't be able to hide the fact I'm not having a drink. 🤣🤣

@Glago2017 congratulations to you!! What a lovely Christmas present. How many dpo are you? Also how many times in your fw did you bd? I think I’m clutching at straws as we only managed once. Xx

@PoleFairy I’m the same as you only one bd but so my friend said it can only take one time.

Feeling a bit sick this morning 🤢 likely a virus but obviously symptom spotting 😂 7dPO -

I’m getting pretty clear period is coming symthoms and as I think I ovulated early it makes sense that it might be early too. Reckon I’m out this time- might be no harm, I intend on spending Christmas quite drunk

My opk was higher again this morning. Drunk me had a bit of a wobble last night. I've had 7mc over the years. OH has never had to deal with it and it makes me sad that I might make him sad. We spoke about it again this morning. He's so supportive and lovely though 🥰

Really tempted to test...but don't think I'd get anything 8dpo

@Ballygowenwater you're not out until AF arrives!

@oldermam lovely that you have such a supportive OH, I can't imagine how hard it must be to have been through 7 losses. I think the key is to be so honest and very open with feelings around these things and hopefully together you'll be ok. Obviously I've got everything crossed for you for no more losses.

@kizzy97 hold off if you can! Chances are you'll see nothing and feel disappointed.

My excitement of nausea meaning something was short lived... I went out in the village this morning and had to come home, and as soon as I was through the door I projectile vomited 🤢🤢🤢 Vicious viral bug I think as felt better afterwards but now am hot and cold shaky and can't get warm. So I think allll my symptom spotting is probably just illness (AGAIN - can't believe it!) and I'd be so surprised if conception this month when I've been so poorly.

@mightbeyesmightbeno I've managed to convince myself it's not my month again this month and made myself sad 😂 I'll feel another symptom at some point and then convince myself otherwise again!

Oh no! I've found a lot of people get their bfps when they least expect it so I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

@Glago2017congratulations lovely! Such strong lines 🥰 I caved and took a test today (11dpo) and nothing as of yet. Not feeling very hopeful
