@BabyBird20 yes I still have my data from TTC#1 - I kept a week by week diary of my symptoms and development throughout too so if I do conceive, it won't just be the TWW symptoms I'll be madly comparing 🤦

Hi all. Just checking i I'm trying to be relaxed this month so not using opks. I think I'm in fw so just going to try and dtd a couple of times and then enjoy Xmas with some drinks. Assuming Boris doesn't ruin it....

Just took a test..currently 11DPO. Pretty sure I can see a line! Quietly excited but terrified it's another chemical 😫

@GreenFlipFlop that is definitely a line! Those tests are 20mIU if I'm not wrong - a frer is around 7mIU so in theory you should have a definite line on a FRER.

@AmberRH1993 Argh I'm so tempted to go and get one! I have a digital in the drawer but I kinda want to save it till next week just to see if it detects an increase in HCG levels!

I'm not sure of the HCG levels for a digital.. I think 1-2 weeks reading is 10mIU. Maybe try the digital tomorrow with Fmu?

I had really awful nightmares last night and the last time I remember having horrible dreams was when I was pregnant with dd....

AF has showed up this morning I was a day late and so hopeful this month. totally gutted. I got pregnancy first cycle with DS and I don’t understand why it isn’t happening this time.

So sorry @Moonshine160 😔 what cycle are you on? This was cycle 8 for me after it taking 4 with DS. This month I took the Boots version of Pregnacare conception, did OPK's religiously (twice a day, lunchtime and evening) and DTD 3 days up until and on Ovulation day. I've also been using Flo and Premom to track cycle and read my OPK's! Also had a Moderna COVID booster, but that could be a coincidence, it made me feel awful 🤢😂

@whatsthecraic91 argh I'm too scared! I think I'm gonna wait till after Thurs when AF is due and do my last digital just to avoid possible chemical pregnancy disappointment! Do those one step cheapies ever get bolder?
Did an NHS due date calculator and it says August 29th 😂 if all goes well, they'll be the baby of the year!

@GreenFlipFlop thank you, it’s so depressing when AF shows but I’m so happy for you getting the BFP. I’ve just started cycle 4 now so I know it’s still early, it happened quickly with our DS so I think I was naive in hoping the same would happen again. I’ve been using pre seed since cycle 1 and this month took evening primrose oil up until ovulation and been taking OPKs every day. I feel like I’m covering all bases and we DTD loads through the fertile week but it just isn’t happening for us yet. And I’m fine with that, I’m just scared that it will NEVER happen. As much as I love my DS so much I don’t feel complete yet.

@GreenFlipFlop my period is due on the 30th I think so I'm hoping to do a FRER before then... Which would take me around Christmas time haha. I'm not sure if I want to do it then though!! Would be so hard to keep my mouth shut with family around.

@girafferafferaffe I know what you mean! I feel like my husband's family are definitely gunna spot that I won't be having a drink cos we usually all share a bottle of wine over dinner! Going to use the driving excuse!

@Moonshine160 Its so disheartening when you DTD loads and think you've definitely covered all bases and then AF arrives. Its so exhausting symptom spotting too. At least having DS, you know you can get pregnant, that's what I kept telling myself, but its easy for the worry to creep in. Hope you're ok, 2022 will be a good year hopefully for us all on this thread! xx

Thanks @GreenFlipFlop. Were you using OPKs to track your cycles throughout all the 8 cycles? I’m wondering whether to ditch the OPKs this next month and try to be more relaxed about it. I usually ovulate on the same day each cycle anyway. X

@Moonshine160 No I've only used OPK's for the last 3 cycles, I wish I'd used them earlier tbh! The first cycle I used them, I got pregnant but it was a chemical pregnancy, then the second month using them my cycle was all messed up from the chemical so my tests were all over the place and I ovulated a week later than I thought so totally missed it, and this month is the 3rd month and seems to have worked! I was using the Glow app before to analyse the tests but switched to Premom this month which I actually found a lot better and started DTD as soon as my readings started getting higher leading up to Ovulation! I also did shoulder stands after sex like a loony and made DH hold up my legs
I've heard a lot of success with people ditching OPK's and using SMEP (Sperm meets egg plan?) and DTD every other day during a month, but with an 18 month old...I didn't have the energy for that lol

Just to update I’m 19 days late on my period now! Cycle day 50 Still no AF! I’m going to do another test in the morning … if bfn… I don’t know what to do! So annoyed I took pregnacare conception vitamins I’m sure it’s those that’s delayed it so much! X

@GreenFlipFlop I don't think they do get dark! Mine is barely there for 15DPO then my clearblue the next day came up blazing blue instantly!!
