@ExPatHereForAChat Congratulations! That is great news. I’m 9dpo today and holding out to test if AF doesn’t show up. Had some more cramps today and discharge has gone watery with a little bit of spotting so not hopeful. My son did say bye mama, but baby today when I dropped him off at nursery which was a bit freaky. We’ve not talked about babies so no idea where it came from. It would be a nice thought though.

We did preseed and a fertility cup alongside smep so will do the same next month.

@Tjsmjs That is so cute of your son. It's funny, I was showing my DH the pregnancy test and he asked me if I think it will be a boy or a girl and DS said 'Boy!' out of nowhere. He's only started talking more in the last month or two and he never does that when we ask each other questions so it was a little freaky.
Fair play on you holding off on testing, I thought I would but I kept getting these sudden urges I couldn't ignore.

@ExPatHereForAChat it was lovely at the same time. He started talking late so it is always nice hearing new words from him. That is very cute of your DS- will you find out what you are having or keep it a surprise?
My cramps have been awful this morning. I normally just have mild ones but my temperature has dropped so period must be coming today or tomorrow.

@Katie2021 How are you doing? Did you get a BFP after or did AF arrive? Your tests look pretty hopeful!

I'm currently 5DPO and feeling a bit nauseous and crampy! I did also have my covid booster last weds though and have had a sore lymphs under the armpit ever since, so it could be related to that!

@tjsmjs You're not out yet! My temperatures were all over the place this month.
Yes, we'll definitely find out gender. No preference but I like knowing and preparing

I've had proper nausea this morning and still have a sore throat. My corona PCR from yesterday was negative but my brother who I saw yesterday evening just got a positive lateral flow this morning so I'm not out of the Corona woods yet :( He only developed symptoms in the middle of the night.
Feeling extra worried about catching Corona now I know I'm pregnant

@ExPatHereForAChat I’d love to know if you DS was right. I’d want to know to but my husband is in the surprise camp.
It was a good drop. It is my first time measuring BBT this month and this is my chart. Unfortunately a nice clear drop there. Planning on a nice white wine tonight instead.

@Tjsmjs and @ExPatHereForAChat what bbt thermometer and app do you use? I'm seriously considering getting one if I get another bfn this month 😬

I’m now 13 days late on period and no AF yet, I can’t believe it I’ve never been this late, I have been spotting on and off today it’s been very light and like a pale pinkish brown colour, so maybe AF will show in the next couple of days. I kind of just want it to show up now just so I know where I’m at! I’ve note tested for 2 days but at 11 days late on my period I was still looking negative in the time limit.

I do think I ovulated extra late this month due to a chemical miscarriage last month, but I just think surely it would be a BFP by now still?!

So Im just going to leave it a couple more days and see if AF shows up, if not I’ll do another test later in the week, its just so disheartening isn’t it when it’s negative and you feel like you have symptoms xx

@Katie2021 that must be really hard to be that late and not know what's going on! Poor you. I hope you get an answer either way soon!

So I’m out. Period has appeared as expected. Hope those still waiting get their BFP this month.

@BabyBird20 I use a thermometer I got of Amazon. Not sure how accurate it is but I’m using it alongside OPKs. The ovulation prediction matched up for both. I use fertility friend

@Katie2021 sorry that you are waiting so long. That must be very frustrating.

@Katie2021 Aw I hope it comes for you soon or you get your BFP! The limbo is awful! I had a chemical pregnancy a couple of months ago and I was in the same limbo! In the end AF came 8 days late (I'm normally like clockwork so was really baffled) and I think I just ovulated late. 13 days is long though, really hoping for your BFP! 🤞🏾
Will def keep updated on the jab! I actually read a thread on here where people who were struggling TTC ended up getting their BFPs after the booster...let's hope! 😂

Hi ladies, I wanted to join in here 😊 My DS is 2 this month and it's out 1st cycle ttc following my natural period after coming off the pill. I'm currently 10/11 dpo and have had lots of symptoms that I recognise from my last pregnancy - sensitivity to smells, back ache, pelvis ache, white bumps on nipples etc.

This time around I'm trying opks and still haven't got the hang of them yet I don't think but my cycle is probably still trying to adjust after the pill. AF is due on 22nd pending I ovulated when I think I did 🤔

AF showed up today so I'm out this cycle! Happy to start fresh and seeing my luteal phase getting longer which is great news.

I'll be quiet on here for a few weeks I expect to enjoy Christmas with a bit less stress. Wishing you all a really lucky and peaceful few weeks, I'll keep my eye out for your BFPs ✨

I’m 10DPO and since yesterday evening I keep getting shooting pains in my boobs which I don’t usually get, usually they are just achey to touch a couple of days before AF. Really trying not to get my hopes up though because I’ve got my usual AF type cramps and sensitive smell which I always get.

@babybird20 my husband let me use his Oura ring for a fortnight. I wouldn't advise it though as it's very clunky and it doesn't give you your actual temperature, just your trend.

Thanks @Tjsmjs and @ExPatHereForAChat , I might buy one from Amazon when af arrives in a few days! Had another stark white bfn this morn but not due on til Monday/weds depending on my cycle so still jn with a very slim chance I guess! 😬🤞🏻

Does anyone else still have their app data from the month they conceived #1? I still have mine in my clue and clear blue apps and am obsessively comparing day by day with this month looking for similarities!! 😬😂

Hey all - wondering if I can join? Be nice to have some people to talk to... this TTC thing tests my patience!

We are TTC no. 2, it's our first cycle of trying. We have a 15mo DD already :)

I'm on CD 31 (14dpo at least, potentially more - not entirely sure when I ovulated but definitely don't think it was later than 14 days ago due to tracking CM) , I usually have a 26 day cycle (occasionally it is longer but it hasn't been since July 2021!), and I do "feel" kind of pregnant, but have had a string of BFN so I'm really confused as to what is going on. I've had cramping since a week ago on and off, and I have more CM than usually do before my period... so yeah, just completely confused!

Sounds like some others are late but still getting BFNs? Hope you all get some confirmation soon either way!

Has anyone else had shooting pains in their boobs before a bfp? I’m probably just symptom spotting too much but they aren’t sensitive to touch, but several times today I keep getting shooting achy pains in each one! Don’t usually have this before AF. I’m 10DPO. I can’t remember having this when I was pregnant with DS though either so it’s probably nothing.

Had my booster today so not going to be able to symptom spot anymore as I won't know what's what! Good thing really :)

Struggling at the moment as my best friend is pregnant and my daughter is due to become a big sister for the first time through her dad and his partner. Would be lying if I said I wasn't sobbing when I think about it.

That's so hard for you :( I'm not in to it as long as you as we've only just started trying but I am already feeling the heavy jealousy of people who are there already.

@Weeturtles she's 4. I feel like most people had their second when theirs was 18 months-2 ish and I feel like I'm really late to the party! But it took a long time for us to come to the decision for a second because of several different things - I had PND etc

Same here, my 9 year old claims she's the only only-child in her class! Although she won't be for much longer on her dad's side. I'm so frustrated I waited until what I thought was the right time, bought the house, got the degree and started my career, found the right partner, now it's not happening.

@Weeturtles that's so frustrating. I hope it happens for you soon! My daughter when asked if she wanted a brother or a sister said 'both, I want twins'. I'm not too keen on that idea !
