@Chanel05

Welcome *@Kitty901* sorry you're feeling this way. Have you seen a doctor to talk about your cycles? My first two pregnancies were each conceived on cycle 8 and this one 7, so I think it takes me a while too.
Hi, no i haven't as i know 5 months isn't long and knowing my GP very well, i doubt they would even agree to talk to me about my short cycles. I am going to give it another month and then speak to them if not success full again. That is the only think that bothers me and reading things on google really isn't helping. I am trying all sorts of vitamins now with the hope to extend my LP, hoping something works. Congrats to you xx wishing you a healthy pregnancy.
Skylark1990 · 19/04/2022 14:34

Hi all, just wanted to say that sadly my bfps turned into an early loss at 4+4 so on cd 3 now. Due to having had two MC now my GP is going to refer me for some tests so I'm grateful for that. Hoping nothing is wrong and it's just bad luck of course. And that our luck changes soon!
Been a tough few months, to say the least.

lovesT · 19/04/2022 17:52

@Kitty901 if you search through my posts on here I have posted about vitamins I've been taking and food etc. I don't know if it all helped but I was exactly the same as you, my daughter took 5/6 months and I'm now 7+2 weeks pregnant and when we got to the 6th month I felt like it wasn't going to happen, then finally it did. I did some research into it all and just decided to do what I could. I posted a photo with the post which might help you find it 😊 I wonder if my luteal phase was in the shorter side and lots of women talk about taking vitamin B6. Worth a try!

@Skylark1990 so glad the gp is sending you for tests, I hope that gives you some answers and you'll get a strong BFP soon xx

Kitty901 · 19/04/2022 20:32

@lovesT thank you and congrats to you xx i will scroll through the pages when i have some time to try and find your post. I am taking vit B6, vit C and seven seas, i did not see any change last cycle but every cycle brings a new hope, hopefully i won't have to go through many more, i have forgotten how emotionally exhausting trying to conceive is x

Kelbelz17 · 21/04/2022 16:26

Can I be added to this thread please? I've recently joined and been TTC for 8 months now thank you x

Izzyboo1234 · 24/04/2022 15:54

Hey guys,
how is everyone?
The last few days have been bizarre, still no af so went out and brought yet another digital. It came back positive 🤷‍♀️ Over the moon but also very early days so trying not to get too excited.
I hope everyone gets there BFP soon, this conception malarkey can be cruel.

I’m so sorry 😞 I wish I could say something to make it easier. It’s a heartbreaking journey. How are you doing? 💐

Kitty901 · 30/04/2022 21:29

I am just really upset this time, it is hubby's bday and that wasn't what i hoped for on his day. We tried everything so far and no luck and i blame myself for having such a short LP , i worry it will never happen. I always dreamed of 2 children, just worry my little one will be by himself. This month i feel worse than ever and cried so much. It is so difficult, i am grateful for my little one but somehow don't feel complete and feel like i will never conceive because of my short cycles 😭 i am sorry i probably sound ridiculous, i feel i need to just let it out!

You do not not sound ridiculous at all, you are allowed to feel the way you do. Nothing takes away from your precious LO and you’re allowed to feel disappointed.

Sorry if I have missed this but have you thought about going to the GP for a check up, my friend recently has. She was trying for over a year with no luck. They did a full ‘MOT’ turns out nothing was going on, so she completely re thought her approach. She stopped ovulation testing, temp checks etc and just went with it - she fell pregnant three months later. Doesn’t help I know, but worth a thought may be.

you really are allowed to feel how your are, and talking about it will help you to process how you’re feeling.

Happy birthday to your husband!

Kitty901 · 01/05/2022 08:02

I hear you there, every waking thought it becomes so emotionally exhausting doesn’t 😞
good luck for your appointment!

@IzzyBoo1234 congratulations! How are you getting on?

@Kitty901, I know the feeling. You will get there! Are you breastfeeding? Look into diet related things as making sure your body is getting what it needs is a big part of it x

Endomummy · 02/05/2022 13:34

Hi ladies please can I join the thread?
ttc number 2 for a year now but had surgery a few months ago for endometriosis and a polyp. Was told I would have best chances of success the first 6 months after surgery which is nearly up. 12dpo today and bfn so feeling pretty rubbish. Trying to stay positive but this ttc business is mentally draining isn’t it.

Margo34 · 04/06/2022 20:29

Hello, me back again! I'm tentatively rejoining this thread following a BFP this week (after my MC in March). Keeping everything crossed this little bean sticks. I'm only 4w+3 but already feeling totes emosh, waves of nausea, peeing loads and have a very heightened sense of smell (and everything smells just gross)! 🤢

🤞🤞🤞

Congrats to all those who already have their BFPs and fingers crossed for happy outcomes for everyone waiting 🤞💫

Izzyboo1234 · 05/06/2022 13:53

@Margo34 congratulations, what fab news! Those symptoms sounds like a good sign.

@Endomummy it sure is, I’m sorry to hear you are having a not so great time. Would it be worth reaching out to the GP?

I long to be pregnant again, I am feeling really sad after our mc, still so recent. Feeling ready to ttc again, have decided not to track ovulation. We never have and we want to stick to the no pressure approach. I think realistically July will be the earliest time where we have a chance. Waiting for AF, not to try but I think it’s imminent I know my body signs.

Chanel05 · 06/06/2022 14:17

Congratulations @Margo34 wishing you a healthy pregnancy.

Wishing you lots of baby dust &
@Izzyboo1234

I'm 11+2 and have my dating scan next Wednesday. I've had two scans so far but still feeling a bit anxious.

@Chanel05 thank you!

How are you doing? I hope things continue to progress well - love my to hear 😊

Skylark1990 · 10/06/2022 09:38

Congratulations @Margo34 that's great news ! And exciting about your scan @Chanel05 I hope it went well. Sorry to hear you're finding things tough @Izzyboo1234 . Sending lots of baby dust and luck. TTC is such a test of patience and resilience sometimes.

I've actually just had a BFP too, 11dpo - did two tests this morning and some good solid lines so I'm feeling very happy! I tested at 9dpo and had a squinter on a FRER so the good line progression makes me feel reassured and more confident after the previous chemicals! Just praying it'll be a sticky bean. Feeling more confident this time 🥰

How are you all doing? @lovesT have you had your 12 week scan?

@Skylark1990 wow yay so happy to see this!! Really hoping this one progresses well ❤️ look after yourself!

Yes I've had my 12 week scan 😊 I'm 15 weeks today and the next scan is in July.

Keep me updated!!

Congratulations to anyone else who has had a BFP and good luck to anyone else still trying ❤️

Margo34 · 10/06/2022 19:33

😢 I'm out, again. 2 consecutive losses. I've basically spent this entire year pregnant or experiencing loss. I'm heartbroken but numb to it both at the same time. Maybe I jinxed myself.

Congrats on your BFP @Skylark1990
