So happy for you @lovesT and yes brilliant to know it happened while breastfeeding. I'm also Breastfeeding so that's reassuring. What's your "due" date?? Xx

Are you taking extra b vitamin complex on top of pregnacare? I think pregnacare has all the b vitamins but not at such a high dose as what a complex would. Which brand do you have? And how much vitamin c per day?
I've been taking about 1000 mg vitamin c and either my prenatal supplements (have the food grown brand and terra.nova as pregnacare didn't agree with me) or these multivitamin drink things which have everything in too. Plus dim and calcium d-glucarate which I was taken when conceived our daughter.

I have had a raging cold but I do feel better on the whole supplementing a bit! I'm sure it helps.

Skylark1990 · 01/04/2022 09:35

@Adidi when is your period due?
Do you know exactly when you ovulated, could it have been later than expected?
14dpo if pregnant you would normally have a BFP by now but some women don't get till 15/16/17/18 dpo etc, so you're not out till period arrives! Sending luck to you x

lovesT · 01/04/2022 10:20

@Skylark1990 yes it's reassuring isn't it! I thought I remembered that you're also breastfeeding 😊 I wonder with breastfeeding if my body just needed that bit extra.

I'll post a photo of the vitamins I'm taking/ was taking before positive test 😊.

I was taking 2 of the vitamin C tablets, one omega 3, my normal Pregnacare and also 2 vitamin B complex a day. I know Pregnacare has vitamin B already but after reading bit about it it's quite a low dose!

I also was eating a lot better, more eggs and good meat, both if which I didn't each much of before! I also reduced caffeine right down and sugar too.

Who knows what works and how much of it is just down to it just happening! But I know I found it helpful to know I was doing something to help towards getting pregnant.

I haven't worked out the due date yet! Still doesn't feel real! I'll have a look later x

Thanks so much for sharing @lovesT! That all looks good - I am also taking 1000 mg vitamin C a day and omega 3, plus either my multivitamin drink with all the b vitamins + things like vitamin D and selenium, or my fertility supplements. If it doesn't happen this month I'll look at getting a stronger b-vitamin complex :-) you're right, the fertility supplements tend to have lower doses on the b vitamins even though they are there.

Also as I took antibiotics for this infection I had ( it was the kind that is low lying and could live with it but it would flare up every now and then, so very glad we figured out what it was!) i'm feeling much more positive. Hopefully my body is just in a better state now, to hopefully support a pregnancy.

I also cut out coffee the two months I did conceive in the past, so Ive done that again this cycle, still having a cup or two of tea tho!

Yes definitely dn't want to stop BF just yet (DD is 19 months in April). xx

lovesT · 01/04/2022 12:05

@Skylark1990 no worries! Hopefully it's helpful 😊 that all sounds good, I hope the antibiotics have helped and you're feeling better.

I switched to decaff tea, but it has also been stressful with moving house and caffeine makes it worse so I thought why not cut it out completely!

Yes we're not ready to wean, she's 2 now but it's just not the right time!

I did the NHS due date calculator and it came up the 4th December 😀. If all goes well with this pregnancy and my sister in law's pregnancy we will have a very similar age gap to our first so that would be amazing, I really hope everything goes well ❤️. Can't wait to tell them but will hold off!

CCPink15 · 04/04/2022 23:15

Hi ladies I'm 6dpo I've tried an early pregnancy test today silly I know was negative this is my first cycle ttc I'm going to wait until next Monday then test as my app recommends that baby dust to all x

whatsthecraic91 · 05/04/2022 09:45

@GreenFlipFlop hello lovely! I am 33 weeks I can't believe it 😂 I'm just extremely sore now, lifting & running around after my 15 month old is absolutely killing me 😅 how are you doing? xx

GreenFlipFlop · 05/04/2022 12:16

@whatsthecraic91 wow that time has flown!! It's so hard with a toddler isn't it 😂 it's the one part I really underestimated being pregnant a second time! I have my 20 week scan next week but we've decided to leave the sex a surprise which is normally very unlike me! Bit anxious for it but hoping it'll all be ok! 🤞🏾 Xx

Chanel05 · 06/04/2022 18:00

@GreenFlipFlop @whatsthecraic91 wow! Time seems to be flying by!!

I on the other hand am on cycle 7 and I believe ovulation today 😂.

whatsthecraic91 · 07/04/2022 15:04

@GreenFlipFlop nightmare currently as whole house has covid so being stuck indoors is awful. Dealing with tantrums at my current size isn't ideal 😂 can't believe you are nearly half way!! Time flies 😅

Skylark1990 · 07/04/2022 15:08

Hi everyone, need some mumsnet support haha. I am 8/9dpo (not entirely sure which) and did a FRER this morn, but of course it was a BFN. I shouldnt really have done it. I'm going to do one tomorrow as going away for the weekend and drinks will be involved, so want to know if I can drink! I know there is a chance the result still won't be conclusive though.

I've been having some mild cramping since Tues, and yesterday had a few sharp pains down low in my abdomen, mostly towards left side. Also feel very tired, emotional and have creamy cm but no other symptoms yet... boobs haven't started to hurt really, which was my first concrete sign when I fell pregnant in December. Ah well! Will have to wait and see I guess. So hard though isn't it!

How are you going @lovesT?

Lovely to hear how you are going @GreenFlipFlop and @whatsthecraic91

! Can only imagine how hard being pregnant is with a toddler running around.

lovesT · 07/04/2022 18:27

@Skylark1990 thanks for asking! I'm good 😊 boobs are so sore now, a bit of nausea has locked in when I'm hungry which I had with my daughter (was never actually sick so we'll see if it's the same this time!) I'm booked for bloods tomorrow as part of the booking in with the midwife. We're actually planning to tell close family this week, I know it's early but we won't see them again for months do we thought why not. Feeling tired now too!

Fingers crossed for you! I had period like cramps before I got my BFP. It will happen soon ☺️ it's very early to take a text so who knows!

I hope everyone else is doing okay ❤️

GreenFlipFlop · 07/04/2022 18:54

@Chanel05 eek got everything crossed for you this month! You too @skylark1990!

@whatsthecraic91 Argh we had this 2 weeks ago in our house with covid, horrendous! Hope you guys are feeling ok and get some negatives soon!

Skylark1990 · 09/04/2022 12:28

Hey guys. Thanks for your well wishes!
I did a FRER this morning and it came back with a very very faint line, definitely there (I've seen enough negatives and faint positives to know pretty much for sure it's a faint positive!) But of course still early days. I'm 10/11 dpo - I think most likely 10dpo.
I'm tentatively happy but of course a bit worried and hope it sticks! Also not 💯 sure it's a proper positive but I think that's just my doubt as there was a faint pink line! Not enough to really show on a pic but can try to upload a pic later... Send me positive vibes! 😬💕🤞

Skylark1990 · 09/04/2022 12:29

I had cramping a couple days ago but nothing since and don't really have any other symptoms so again, that makes me a bit worried 😕

lovesT · 09/04/2022 13:08

@Skylark1990 keep us updated!! I had on and off cramping too. I hope this is it for you ❤️

Dragonfly909 · 09/04/2022 13:48

Hi all, can I join please? Ttc #2, CD13 on cycle 7 Sad so about to go into the next tww. Dd is 20 months. I see a couple of you said you're still breastfeeding #1, I've been wondering if that's stopping us conceiving #2. I only really feed dd morning and evening and periods came back a year ago. I read someone said you have to convince your body it can support 3 people Grin also anyone constantly ill from nursery germs? I don't think that's helping our chances! Any tips for making my body think it can do this?!

Dragonfly909 · 09/04/2022 13:54

@Skylark1990 @lovesT just read your posts re breastfeeding and vitamins, think I need up my dose of vitamins and reduce the dose of caffeine Confused @lovesT many congrats!l and @skylark1990 fingers crossed for you!

Skylark1990 · 10/04/2022 07:12

11dpo / 4 days before say period is due... Did two and two faint BFPs I think! What do people think? ❤️ Used first morning urine.

@lovesT
Did you keep taking the b vitamins once confirmed pregnant? Xx

Skylark1990 · 10/04/2022 07:17

Welcome @dragonfly909!

Yes I'm still breastfeeding my 19mo quite a lot, she still feeds at night and 3-4 times in day when I'm with her, a bit less the days she's at nursery.

I do think our bodies need more when TTC and breastfeeding! I like what you said about having to convince our body it can support 3 people 😅

I think b vitamins, extra vitamin c as well as a good prenatal all a good shout plus I've heard coq10 is really good at 100-600mg per day for egg quality . I was going to take it if I didn't get pregnant this cycle (hoping I'm pregnant and it stays so won't need to now 🤞🤞) xx

GreenFlipFlop · 10/04/2022 08:15

@Skylark1990 I saw the line on the first pic straight away!! 🎉🎉 Congratulations!! This is a good month for BFPs!

whatsthecraic91 · 10/04/2022 08:16

@Skylark1990 such a good line for 11DPO!! I would say it's darker in real life too! Camera lightens I think! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 so exciting

Skylark1990 · 10/04/2022 08:48

Aww thank you @GreenFlipFlop and @whatsthecraic91! ❤️❤️

That's good you think it's s good line as I was workiing it's a bit faint for 11dpo haha 😅

lovesT · 10/04/2022 09:38

@Skylark1990 wow congratulations!! So exciting! I continued to take the Pregnacare Conception which I finished yesterday and one B vitamin instead of 2 for the first few days but then forgot so just took one this morning as I forgot! I'm now on the vitamins that the midwife gave me which are quite basic so maybe will take 1 b vitamin a day with them until I finish them. Keep us updated! Had you been taking B vitamins this month? I'm on a Due in December thread if you want to join soon x

Skylark1990 · 11/04/2022 06:48

Did a digital and got a BFP so feeling more official now! Just hoping everything carries on - thinking positive! 🤞🙏❤️

Thank you @lovesT! What is the due date group you're on, can you send to me on messages maybe? Or just tell me the name on here ☺️
Yes I was taking the same b vitamins as you but was just taking one ( the quantities seems
so intense with two haha!).

My DD has been wanting to feed SO much ATM and it's makiing me nervous my body is going to think ok, no, can't do this plus be pregnant. But hopefully that's not the case 🤞
