@thislittlebird they charge a flat fee start of each cycle it's like insurance almost to help with the cost but it seems their acceptance criteria is ridiculous....getting refused on 82% chance over 6 cycles I mean....its only 30% chance per cycle normal fertile unicorns.....
In terms of SIL the age for me is a weird one as my egg quality is shite before I've got older due to the pcos....my eggs don't mature properly and tend to be poor quality at just 35. My sister had same problem at age 25 and she is now moving forward childless. They've told me it's hard to draw parallels as every person is different and even cycle to cycle in same person...which happened with me. I hope this was just a bad one off and next cycle will be a little better as embryologist said they were not expecting this bad outcome at all. Not that it helps right now.
@sunbird if steroids work you can say you've got pregnancy glow....
@Marvellouslymadmum I never had a d21 bloods when I'd actually ovulated.....
I'm just worried about saying to manager I need more time off due to bloody covid flaring up ME and the fact that I'm gona keep having time off every cycle, we think we're gona try at least 2 more. I end up having at least 3 weeks off per treatment and I can't work from home as I work on a ward 🤷♀️
Anyone going private can you give me any advice on approaching it, anyone used access fertility? Confused how paying them everything upfront and having to pay meds extra is actually gona work out better, although refund if not successful I suppose helps. Either way we'll have to get a loan
