I don't know. Not even a week into November and sadly some are out for this month.

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas and you're definitely on Santa's NAUGHTY list, this is the one for you. Not a December bus but a December SLEIGH!

So go Dasher, go Dancer, go Prancer and Vixen! We don't want you to bring us those toys. Please stuff our stockings full of BFP joy!

@ohmybaby massive congratulations! Absolutely love your advent calendar and deffo borrowing some of it but won't be DTD every day (lacking in stamina but not the will to!).

Sorry for no long reply, our baby is pretty unwell with an absolute cow of a virus and horrendous cough. Taking us all for PCR tests tomorrow morning. Will be back ASAP. Meanwhile I'm on CD6 and starting OPKs from today, if I remember to. So far every time I've been to the loo today I've forgotten!

Catch up soon and good luck to all!
@curlywurly3 I had quite a bit this month 😅 Got a bottle of Baileys and had most of it over the month as I figured I'd get my xmas fill in while I could 😂 and had a glass of wine here and there too whenever we were out or had friends round. I know it sounds bad but I was just so disheartened after months of TTC with no joy. Was in a 'f--- it' state of mind.

@Mummytobe93 I don't do OPKs so don't know exact O date, but had some spotting so I have a fairly good idea of when it was. If I calculated right, we DTD 5 days and 2 days before, as well as the day after O. In previous months I can see we've always been that bit too late - with our DD we did it every day in the fertile window and conceived straight away. We probably should've done the same this time round but who has the time with a toddler?! 😅🥴

So much luck and baby dust to all. xxxxxx
@ohmybaby doesn’t sound bad, sounds similar to me!

hopefulmumma90 · 23/11/2021 19:04

Hi girls, coming over from the November thread, I’m currently 10dpo and due on tomorrow or Thursday, don’t know why did it to myself did a test and was of course bfn I have had a tiny amount of pink ting couple times only when wiping which I normally spot couple days before but it’s normally way more than this trying go onto the next cycle with positive vibes and also have ivf planned for January so still got hope for that

katem22 · 23/11/2021 20:14

@ohmybaby

I actually did however create an advent calendar of sex for December - which if I don’t feel too grotty my husband has insisted upon completing 😂 please take from it what you will, obviously DTD daily for 25 days isn’t easily executed by anyone, there’s some fun ideas to spice things up!! Enjoy xxx
This really made me smile, what a cool idea! Definitely complete it! And congratulations on your BFP. Smile
LemonElephant · 23/11/2021 21:45

You okay girls!? I’m really not sure what’s going on me with!! Couldn’t find a FRER anywhere, so settled for a clearblue rapid response- and this was the result🤨 12DPO today, wondering whether to order frer’s or see if AF comes!

Ho ho ho! We all want Santa to come (with loads of BFPs)! It's the December thread 🎅🌲🎁
Squiff70 · 23/11/2021 22:39

Welcome, @hopefulmumma90! Hoping December is your lucky time too! X

Oh no @LemonElephant! That's so confusing!! I don't know what that means, sorry. So many different brands seem so unreliable lately. I'd order a FRER and cross your fingers! I've got mine crossed for you!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 24/11/2021 08:02

@LemonElephant I would wait it out. Those tests when they look like that can really be either way.

CD1 for me here. :-(. I love it especially when I put this into my app and it shouts at me in huge green writing NOT FERTILE. Ovulation due around 10th December if anyone matches up to my cycle? Off for some tests this week as this is now cycle 8 x

hopefulmumma90 · 24/11/2021 10:54

I’m now 11dpo and apart from that couple of wipes the other day I’ve not had any other blood. I’m due on today or tomorrow and no signs it’s on it’s way yet. But I’ve been telling and the last 2 days my temp has dropped but I always normally spot 2 or 3 days before I’m due but haven’t really had that ither. I think il wait until tomorrow maybe and use a frer x

MindZGap · 24/11/2021 18:42

Evening all, CD11 over here. This is my first time attempting to monitor CM and today it's creamy (I think?!) which according to Google is non fertile because it isn't friendly to sperm.

But I have my first day of flashing smiley which I usually get 2 days of and then static. So I'm probably 2-4 days pre ovulation, but with non fertile CM...

I guess this is where the pre seed comes in? As it should hopefully help the sperm glide through my hostile cervix?? Where it can hang out until the egg makes its way down???

Nico89 · 24/11/2021 19:49

@MindZGap I can't help but will be loitering for answers as I have the same issue. I hardly ever get much typical "fertile mucus". Worried its harbouring my chances

FlyOnTheWall89 · 24/11/2021 20:13

@MindZGap @Nico89 you may not have any visible, but it may be inside…. I think it’s normal for it to be there visibly when you wipe them not the next day, then come again. If you want to try and increase it, I would recommend evening primrose oil. It really increased mine last month. You need to take it in the build up to ovulation, and NOT after. Xx

Shortmamashortcycles · 24/11/2021 20:34

Seconding evening primrose oil. I was sceptical but my goodness, it works...

MindZGap · 24/11/2021 21:07

Oooh OK thanks guys, a trip to Holland and Barrett for me tomorrow I think!!

Nico89 · 24/11/2021 21:33

Thanks ladies. Might try that next cycle.

Though I'm in an "I don't see the effing point" mood tonight.
Moan alert...
Ovulation predicted for tomorrow. Have missed DTD pretty much every day bar monday in this FW due to DH working nights. He doesn't leave for work til 9pm, DD is in bed by 7.30 latest... plenty of time to squeeze in some DTD.... or not! He's completely uninterested when it gets to it.
This evening for example. Makes promises for tonight at breakfast when he gets home. After dinner he had a shower while i put DD to bed, then I had a quick bath and he was already down in the living room in his uniform... "oh, I say." I can always take it back off was his response...told him I was going upstairs winkwinknudgenudge .. scurry up, preseed in... waiting
.. .. .. .. nothing. He just sat downstairs on his phone, comes up 5 or 10 mins before he is due to leave for work. Cold. Distant. Not a chance.
I'm so frustrated (in every way!)

My next FW falls right over me working nights so we won't even be in the house at the same time so i feel like I'm already out until Feb. Anyone got a Feb bus going?? Sad

beckybabyx · 24/11/2021 21:42

@Nico89 completely feel your frustration- maybe sit him down and have a chat about how it’s making you feel and how small the fertile period is? Xx

beckybabyx · 24/11/2021 21:44

Cd6 today and apparently the start of my fertile 5 days and we DTD and sorry for TMI but it was the best sex we’ve had in months 🤣🤣

Squiff70 · 24/11/2021 22:05

@MindZGap and @Nico89 deffo give the evening primrose a go - I've heard many good things about it over the years I've spent on the conception boards. Like @FlyOnTheWall89 said, only take it leading upto ovulation. Don't take it after your peak.

@Nico89 I'm so sory you've had such a frustrating day. I'd have been annoyed too (any of us would). I often think men think we can get pregnant any time in our cycle and that 'no, right now' can mean 'later'. I sat DP down last week and had a chat with him about it all. He says he understands but really he's still a bit baffled I think. A gentle reminder is sometimes all that is required.

@beckybabyx I'm also on CD6. I said that yesterday but turned out I was a day ahead of myself. What was your secret to the best you've had in months? Lack of inhibition and pressure to just get on with it?

Today I had an appointment with a gynaecologist to try and find out why I'm bleeding between periods. Long story short he(!) doesn't know and is sending me for an ultrasound scan. And I'm bleeding again even though AF had stopped. I also have ovarian pain today - no idea if there's a link but I shouldn't be ovulating yet so maybe I have a cyst or something?

@Squiff70 thanks for starting the December thread. This is my 2nd C TTC let's hope we all get our nice Crimbo parcels 🥰🤞

@SkaterChick

Cmacq32 · 25/11/2021 06:29

@Squiff70 I'm so sorry to here your baby journey has been so sad, I can't imagine what you've been through (I had one loss at 13 weeks and that was bad ebough). Your baby girls is a superstar 🥰
I am sure you will be well looked after. How long have you been trying this time around? Wishing you all the luck in the world xx

LemonElephant · 25/11/2021 07:32

@Squiff70 hope everything is okay! Hopefully won’t be waiting too long for an ultrasound, sending my love x

Mummytobe93 · 25/11/2021 09:01

Morning beautiful ladies ✨

CD10, OPKs are still negative but I’m starting to get some fertile CM so O is definitely around the corner (again, I can’t praise EPO enough for increasing CM).

@beckybabyx that’s nice - I’m hoping to get some of that tonight too😈

@Squiff70 hopefully you’ll soon get some answers 🙏

@Nico89 I’m sorry hunny, I know what it feels like as couple of times I felt “rejected” by my DH or that he couldn’t be bothered but when I spoke to him he said he simply didn’t realise a) how short the fertile window was and TTC was just about not using contraception and b) since we don’t DTD that often he asked me to be more straightforward when it’s “the time”

All this time I was too vague, thinking it will kill the mood otherwise but this cycle I literally showed him my cycle calendar and told him straight which days are BD days and now he’s fully cooperating 😉 Again with my DH I know it’s w lot for him to perform that often in a short space of time so I keep it short and sweet if you know what I mean.

Good luck sweet, I know it’s difficult but before getting super upset about it, make sure he knows what & when you expect of him 💕I don’t know how to say it without sounding sexist but the older I get the more I notice how simple (some) are🙄😪😂 If they only knew how much effort goes into tracking our cycle etc …

Have a lovely day everyone ✨xxxx

Hopingforarainbow27 · 25/11/2021 10:01

Just got a flashing smiley on cycle day 18! Does anyone else have a late fertile window?

winter138 · 25/11/2021 10:56

Good morning everyone!

First time here on the forums since being pregnant with my son, he's now 21 months old and we are TTC #2.

This is my 3rd month TTC and because my cycles have been so irregular over the last year (I BF my son until he was 18 months so not sure if that has had something to do with it?!) I decided to start using the clear blue ovulation sticks this month and trying to follow SMEP.

Been challenging to find the time or "get in the mood" considering we have moved out of our house to do a big renovation and my toddler is not sleeping ... at all!

I'm on CD 19 today, started testing CD 11 and had flashing smileys from CD 12-17 (6 days). Finally got my static yesterday on CD18. So will be interested to see how long my cycle is this month if I don't get a BFP as they really have been all over the place and I was surprised to ovulate so late!

Going to try and hold on to test until 15DPO which will be CD33 and 9th Dec. I have everything crossed!

It's funny how I really didn't want to get pregnant again too soon and now that I do, I'm so disappointed every month with BFN. I feel really impatient and it's made me realise how much I want another baby. Isn't it funny how we can completely change in such a short space of time?!

I'm 35 btw .

Looking forward to getting to know you all a lot better and sharing this journey together xxx

Nico89 · 25/11/2021 11:02

@Mummytobe93 thanks. I know I'm being unreasonable I'm just so super anxious this time round with TTC. We have put it off for so long because of covid and my health that I'm just inpatient. I'm going to have a talk with him later and just explain it all without pressuring him. It's his first time TTC (my DD is from my prev marriage) so he's probably as anxious as I am.

@Hopingforarainbow27 I don't ovulate until around CD 18 either (with a 28 day average cycle! - another reason I'm stressing as it means my LP is pretty short )
