@Babylion000 that sounds very confusing. If the body fails to ovulate it will try again a day or two later. I'm not sure what's going on except an anovulatory cycle, perhaps?

@Timeaftertime21 I hope your body sorts itself out too lovely. They like throwing curveballs don't they?! Best of luck for this cycle. Just keep DTD and who knows...?

Welcome @FlyOnTheWall89. Sorry you got a BFN yesterday. I know how tough they are. Maybe your Christmas BFP is waiting for you? Time will tell.

Hi @Decaffe! I was on the lucky October and then the November threads and I felt like that too - one of a small handful not to get their BFP. Hopefully December is your time!

I know what you mean @Shortmamashortcycles! We didn't DTD at the 'right' times either (or so it felt) so we're planning ahead a bit this month. We've got pre-seed and I've shown DP my cycle tracker and told him which days are best to DTD. He said "baby, any time you wanna have sex just say the word and I'm on it". I'm not sure how literally he meant it but he'll soon find out, lol!

On a personal note, I'm on CD5. AF has stopped and I'm looking forward to giving this cycle everything in the bedroom :)

Aw I hope everyone has happy news this cycle! I’m starting my fertile week I think! Moist cm started 2 days ago. Really hope I have happy news and after my 2 miscarriages! I don’t want to spend Christmas feeling hopeless!

Had my first try with pre-seed yesterday. If nothing else the applicator did give us a giggle.

Good luck @Squiff70, I’m on CD7, think the O is approaching. I took the exact same approach with my DH- I showed him my cycle calendar on the Flo app and told him straight that we can only conceive during that time. As soon as I start getting some CM is a go time

I'm not convinced it'll be my month, timing is off and I'm not sure we'll be able to DTD again before ovulation, but I'm in - just in case.

@Mummytobe93 haha yes there's some extraction and insertion involved. Not the most sexy procedure. Not sure what the CB one is like but guessing similar... The instructions say you could insert it 15 mins beforehand to make it feel more spontaneous but not sure I follow that logic 😂

CD10 here so just into fertile week. Feel Iike I'm getting more obsessed not less but then feel more hopeful when I feel like I'm doing something to help 🤔 anyone else feel like that?
This is cycle 6, previously just used CB OPKs but this time using easy@home tests as well to get more of an idea of when LH is increasing (probably unnecessary but nevermind!). Doing SMEP, conceive plus pre seed, proceive vitamins plus extra CoQ10 and EPO supplements, which now I list it all out makes me sound nuts 🙈😂

Good morning ladies, I’m afraid I jumped over here too soon from November and have been blessed with a shock BFP!

I actually did however create an advent calendar of sex for December - which if I don’t feel too grotty my husband has insisted upon completing 😂 please take from it what you will, obviously DTD daily for 25 days isn’t easily executed by anyone, there’s some fun ideas to spice things up!! Enjoy xxx

This was our 6th month of trying and we only DTD twice in the fertile window so I was convinced it hadn’t happened…

What seemed to work this month:

• Lying down after sex. Always dismissed this as a myth but I didn’t get up to pee after, felt gross but it seemed to keep it up there and swimming in the right direction?
• Eating well. I took folic acid and vitamin D daily, ate according to each phase of my cycle to support my hormonal health and ate ground seeds too
• DTD before ovulation. There’s no point having sex the day you ovulate - the sperm won’t get there in time. Best to do in the days leading up to.

And that’s it. I tried not to stress and keep busy with other things. I didn’t stop drinking etc - had no idea how long it would take to conceive this time so I figured I may as well enjoy myself.

@ohmybaby congratulations!!! Amazing news! How many DPO are you? Also, how often do you (or did you) drink? I haven’t cut out drinking either but feel guilty when I do!

Jumping over from the November thread, just for support for those beautiful and strong ladies who not gotten their bfp in the last cycle. Please remember miracles happen every single second! I know how hard this journey and our mind just can't switched off from ttc, but try to enjoy this festive period and feel the love around you.

Who don't know me, we on serious ttc over 2 years, all of our test are good, unexplained infertility. We had 3 failed IUI and just got our IVF dates in the calendar (self-funded). I've been up and down so many times and bc I have noone (other than DH) to talk, this community gave me so much to keep going and not giving up. So please if you feel down or just want to write out, do it! We are in here for each others support! 🥰

@curlywurly3 I had quite a bit this month 😅 Got a bottle of Baileys and had most of it over the month as I figured I'd get my xmas fill in while I could 😂 and had a glass of wine here and there too whenever we were out or had friends round. I know it sounds bad but I was just so disheartened after months of TTC with no joy. Was in a 'f--- it' state of mind.

@Mummytobe93 I don't do OPKs so don't know exact O date, but had some spotting so I have a fairly good idea of when it was. If I calculated right, we DTD 5 days and 2 days before, as well as the day after O. In previous months I can see we've always been that bit too late - with our DD we did it every day in the fertile window and conceived straight away. We probably should've done the same this time round but who has the time with a toddler?! 😅🥴

Hi ladies, my November attempt just ended, over to this thread I go. Dpo 1, but semi ok about it. Only POAS once and my AF had already arrived 😂. I think it will be nice to relax a bit now, knowing there’s nothing I can do for a week-2. Hope you’re all doing well x
