Morning ladies, I’m on cd10 and I’m getting a flashy face on cb opk’s, due to ovulate in the next 48hrs. DH has a bug and a sore tummy!! Obviously I feel bad for him but if he isn’t better tonight, we may fall out! 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈

Thanks for the welcome. Got my smiley face on Thursday and 99% sure I ovulated on Friday. Managed to DTD a couple of times around looking after our poorly cat who broke his leg on Wednesday, oh the stress!

@Curlywurly3 so sorry your DP has a tummy bugs, that's awful timing (not that there's ever a good time to have one!) but there seems to be a lot of tummy bugs about. Hope he improves ASAP!

On a personal note, I'm 11DPO today. BFN on an internet cheapie this morning but didn't expect anything more if I'm honest. I woke up from a cruel dream that I got a BFP on a FRER but once I'd woken up a bit more I decided not to waste my precious FRERs! I might do one on Thursday (AF due Friday) but will see. I've had a metallic taste in my mouth for 36 hours which I can't explain. It's not medication and I'm quite sure it's not something I've eaten but it's a new thing for me. I'm trying not to 'symptom spot' but I can't ignore this either.

@Squiff70 thank you so much! We're not sure as I found him on Weds morning injured, vets think he might have been hit by a car Not really what we need in the build up to Christmas, but luckily he should make a full recovery - it could have been so much worse!

Aww, best to luck to you! Sorry to hear you had a negative this morning. I have however read lots of examples on here of women testing on day 11/12 and getting BFN but then getting a BFP on day 14, so definitely still a chance. Keeping everything crossed for you

Aww @Janey3090 your poor cat! I hope he does make a full recovery! Glad you got him swiftly to the vet and got him the treatment he needed.

I've heard of people getting BFNs right up until days past their AF is due so I'm not giving up hope just yet :) Just feeling rather flat and deflated today about the whole thing.

Can I jump on this. I'm currently on the end of my af hoping that this is my month this is currently cycle 5 for me.

Hi all, marking my place as I’m convinced I am out by now for November .. AF in 2 days and lots of BFPs … so it would take a miracle.
However I get married 4th December and it’s right over ovulation week. As much as that is a LOT of pressure for a Christmas gift, it would be slightly wonderful.

Hello, can I join please? On cycle 4 TTC #2. AF just finishing... can’t decide whether to use OPKs this month or just dtd regularly in an attempt to be less obsessive.. (as if that works 🤣🤣)

Jumping over from the November thread as it's CD1 all over again for me with the worst cramps. Hoping for a Christmas miracle, not due to ovulate until 5 December.

Does anyone have anything new they're trying this cycle? I'm already taking vitamin D, folic acid and using conceive plus.

I've been so.bad.at.this.
I was the person who said "Oh there's time, there's time" about TTC, and then finally in August said to my DH that I agree for us to start trying and I swear that a switch flicked somewhere in my brain and I turned into this TTC Monster.
I was going to be a chilled- what happens happens-it may take a while-that's totally OK-kind of person, but literally a week in I had a bathroom cupboard full of OPKs, a BBT thermometer, PreSeed, and was on a schedule with the BD to make sure we hit the right days.
3 months later, I am nowhere near close to being PG, and I feel like all of these things have done f all for me so far. LOL.

I feel like I need to somehow force myself to take a chill pill, step away from everything...other than the OPKs maybe, and just relax or something!

@danani think you an I might be the same person from the sounds of this! You are not alone, I always said to myself I am not a broody person, I wont be obsessed - HERE I AM lol.

It happens, its natural, and do not feel bad for it! But I agree, this time I will try and relax ( a touch more ) and I think being kinder to ourselves will only serve us well!

Agreed I NEED to chill out but literally find it impossible once the fertile window creeps up. Also have a DD and am becoming so conscious about an ever growing potential age gap which I know is silly.

Hoping to try and eat well, exercise a little more, and keep myself distracted so TTC doesn't consume ALL of my thoughts!

@DancinOnTheCeiling, I’ve unfortunately had 2 miscarriages this year so both have started like this, never this early though! Unless I ovulated earlier than I thought x

So sorry about the miscarriages 😟. Fingers crossed this one is different and sticks, sending lots of love and baby dust 💕
