I don't know. Not even a week into November and sadly some are out for this month.

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas and you're definitely on Santa's NAUGHTY list, this is the one for you. Not a December bus but a December SLEIGH!

So go Dasher, go Dancer, go Prancer and Vixen! We don't want you to bring us those toys. Please stuff our stockings full of BFP joy!

@Squiff70 thanks!! I'm only on cycle 2 but already exhausted by work, taking care of a toddler and being on a strict DTD schedule ! But it's all for a good cause.

Going to make the most of the 2 weeks before O and live my best not pregnant life, see friends, have some wine, soft cheese, all that good stuff. 😊

RainAndBows3 · 11/11/2021 15:17

Can I please joinGrin currently on my FW so fingers crossed! I've suffered 2 miscarriages this year so a lot of anxiety around it all, but we can hope- it's all we've got!
Fingers tightly crossed for you all and that we WILL be seeing those BFPs next month!

Squiff70 · 11/11/2021 17:50

Aww @Danani I'm glad you're on the up again. You've got lots of time for TTC but I'm sure you'll get your BFP very soon!

I am so with you on that @HereWeGoAgain2022. It's exhausting isn't it, but mostly fun :) Enjoy your cheese and wine!

Welcome @RainAndBows3. So sorry to hear about your miscarriages, that's tough I know. Hope counts for a lot. An awful lot. Keeping my fingers crossed for you too!

Hi joining from November thread since what I had hoped was implantation spotting turned out to be a very drawn out and annoying beginning to a now very painful AF which is making me feel awful!!

Allowing myself a day of feeling sorry for myself before getting back into a better headspace with positive thoughts for a hopefully amazing early Christmas surprise for hubby of a BFP ❤

Robgem81 · 12/11/2021 07:58

Hi 👋

Would love to join the December sleigh. Currently on second cycle following another miscarriage. I have had two this year. One in April and one in September. It's been a hard year for many reasons. The last MC they are suspecting a Molar so I am waiting to hear back from charring cross. I may not get the chance to try this month but I'm hoping that the fact I have ovulated and had two periods means there is no HCG floating around my body indicating some left over molar tissue.

I have a DS that's 2 and I turned 40 this year! My first pregnancy i fell first cycle. I am surprised so much has gone wrong just a year after my pregnancy!

Anyway fingers crossed for all x

Nico89 · 12/11/2021 10:45

Good morning ladies

Feeling much less crappy today so will introduce myself properly Smile

I'm 32 and DH is 26 Wink we got married 2 weeks ago today ♥️
Now on day 2 (ish) of Cycle 2 TTC#2 (#1 for DH).
I have a DD who is almost 6y from my prev marriage. I conceived DD on 3rd cycle after a CP in the prev cycle. I'm hoping for it to be that straight forward this time round but I'm older and I also have an auto-immune liver condition (triggered we think by DD birth!) and fibromyalgia so who knows.

Best of luck to everyone Grin

Timeaftertime21 · 12/11/2021 13:12

Hello All,

I'm also hoping for my BFP before Christmas. This was our 3rd cycle TTC and AF arrived promptly on Wednesday.

I'm 30, hubby is 29. 1st Cycle TTC was with less knowledge about the fertile window. AF tricked me by being almost 4 days late which never happens. 2nd cycle TTC I tried the CB OPKs and realised I had a very short fertile window that month and went straight from low to peak fertility. 3rd cycle TTC I was more optimistic as OPKs highlighted both high and peak days and we used PreSeed. I had weird symptoms for 4 nights around the time of implantation (insomnia and getting up for a wee every night) which is very unusual for me. AF arrived on time but I'm still baffled by my symptoms.

I have ordered a fertility cup from Boots so keeping my fingers crossed this will help. It's interesting reading everyone's experiences as it is certainly not as easy as they make it out to be!

Hopeful for happy news for everyone x

Squiff70 · 12/11/2021 14:19

Hi and welcome @Nico89. Sorry to hear about your painful AF, that's really rubbish :( Glad you're feeling better today! I also have fibromyalgi - makes parenting that bit harder, doesn't it? Quite a lot at times.

Welcome to the sleigh @Robgem81. So sorry to read about your miscarriages. How are you coping? I'm only a bit younger than you (39) and feel this is our last chance to give our LG a surviving sibling. No pressure, then(!) Our daughters are roughly the same age too. Fingers crossed for you!

Hello @Timeaftertime21! Do you find after three cycles it's getting easier to ocpe with or harder? I mean, we're only in our second cycle and the first cycle I was crazy-obsessed, POAS all the bloody time from about 8DPO! This cycle, for unknown reasons, I've been much more laid back. I was POAS a lot in my FW only because I wanted to catch the peak (then we were both too tired to DTD on both 'main' days, d'oh) but I'm now about 7DPO and have no desire to test at the moment. None. Maybe because I had so many BFNs last cycle, I don't know. My AF was 8 days late too and I think I have an anovulatory cycle last time. It's so frustrating when AF is late and you still get BFNs isn't it? What's a fertility cup? Is it Fertilily? I've seen them in Boots but have no idea what they do!

Robgem81 · 12/11/2021 14:45

@Squiff70 I'm not coping too good actually this time. I think the second being potentially a molar has knocked me to be honest. It is likely to delay trying again but I'm hoping not so joining this thread is keeping me optimistic. It's hard to want something so much and it be such a struggle as so many of you sadly know x

Babyghirl · 12/11/2021 15:54

Hoping I can hop on the sleigh, and hope santa brings me a bfp.

I'm 38 dp is 37 I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp ttc num 1,now in the hands of a rmc consultant and will get progesterone from my next bfp hoping it helps. I'm now on cd4 period just finished I normally ovulate around CD 11 with a 16 day lp so hoping this is are lucky month.

Dr04 · 12/11/2021 17:49

Jumping on to the dec bus, after being a quiet observor on the very lucky October bus. Ttc for 8 months struggling with DHs performance issues . Got my bfp one week back and was absolutely elated, only to see lines getting fainter after a few days. I'm now one week late, had a blood hcg of just 16. Just a waiting game now. Hoping to start ttc again soon if I'm emotionally ready.

SkaterChick · 12/11/2021 22:05

Hey everyone, how're you all doing? Fun plans for the weekend I hope?

If AF hasnt arrived then I'll test again Sunday morning, I have a question about fmu, I usually have to get up and pee around 4-5am (especially at the weekend as I'm up at 5.30 during the week for work) however I'm not awake at this time and certainly wouldn't be poas 😂 if I do get up and pee about this time should I wait around 4 hours before testing to get a concentrated pee?

I thought AF was arriving as I had some brownish discharge yesterday but she's not here just yet, terrible cramps, bloated and wanted all the choc so I expect she'll be here in the next day or so!

.

Timeaftertime21 · 13/11/2021 09:35

@Squiff70 It is still early days but I'm not very laidback about it all. I have done so much research on reasons why it hasn't happened and I am a bit of a worrier which doesn't help Confused. I've known a lot of couples struggle and a lot of couples fall pregnant by complete surprise with no planning. There is often no specific reason and that's what I have to keep telling myself when it doesn't happen Hmm I did so much POAS the first cycle as my period was late. I haven't done that since as for me it is worse getting the BFNs than AF arriving. The fertility cup is the one you say. It's supposed to stop the swimmers from escaping Wink so I'll see if this makes any difference. I've also considered an OvuSense, but not sure about this yet. Has anyone else tried Fertilily Cup or OvuSense? Smile

@SkaterChick that happens to me as well. What I do is I leave a cup out by the toilet and pee in the cup when I wake up around 4 am. Then use that to test when I actually get up for the day.
SkaterChick · 13/11/2021 10:44

Well AF arrived this morning just a day late.
Good thing is that my best few week is due when me and the dude are off work for a week so we should be able to chill and dtd loads!

Hmm I dunno if I'd rem to pee in a cup at 4am or trust my dickhead cats not to knock it over 😂😂

Squiff70 · 13/11/2021 21:08

@Robgem81 so sorry you're struggling, it's completely understandable that you would be. Did you miscarry naturally or have to have medical management? If you don't want to discuss it that's absolutely fine, but if you do, that's fine too. We're all in this together.

Hi @Babyghirl. We're a similar age. Wishing you lots of luck this cycle!

Welcome @Dr04! I'm so sorry you appear to be having a chemical or early miscarriage. I've had two CPs in the past and know how tough they are. I do hope you're okay. Feel free to share your journey with us as and when you're ready.

Wasn't the Lucky October thread just incredible? I honestly lost count of the number of BFPs there were. I'm hoping the December 'sleigh' will be just as lucky, if not moreso.

No fun plans here @SkaterChick. DP has been working all day and I've been looking after our LG hence I am replying to everyone after bedtime! He's off tomorrow so we were thinking of going out for a walk somewhere nice. Do you have any plans? Ideally you need a mininmum of a 4 hour hold for FMU or similar. How late is your AF now?

@Timeaftertime21 I understand your fears and frustrations. I've never had trouble conceiving but my first set of twins were delivered at 19 weeks and my second set of twins just before 23w. I don't worry about conceiving as much as I worry about being able to carry to term, or very close to. There are so many 'what ifs' aren't there? I oculd do with a fertility cup too from what you've said although keeping my bum on a pillow for an hour (or as long as possible) after sex does help.

Hello everyone, can I join you from the November thread? AF arrived yesterday so I'm hoping December is our month 🤞 CD2 of cycle 6 TTC#1. I'm 29, DH is 30. Have been using OPKs every cycle, SMEP for the last 2 cycles and started proceive vitamins and conceive plus last cycle. Any other suggestions from anyone are welcome, I know it's totally normal to take up to a year but like a lot of people, in my head I thought it wouldn't take this long! A BFP in December would be really lovely ♥️

Shortmamashortcycles · 14/11/2021 08:23

@dory0, welcome! It took 10 cycles for my first and it was super stressful.

At 6 months, my OH got a basic sperm analysis to check any issues that side (there weren't, phew), and I got a blood panel because we have a history of hypothyroidism, and that kicked off me getting thyroid help which I think improved things.

Not sure if that just gives you more to worry about or not!

tryingforbabyh · 14/11/2021 11:08

Can I join from the November thread? Cycle 14 so I have my doubts it will ever happen naturally but so far docs haven't identified any issues so will keep going and hope for the best Christmas present 💝

MindZGap · 14/11/2021 19:13

Evening all, joining from the November thread as AF has just arrived nice and early she is so thoughtful like that.

That gives me a cycle length of 24 days after being 27 for 3 cycles. Who knows that will happen this time. I'm starting to feel this is just my life now.

Timeaftertime21 · 14/11/2021 20:34

@Squiff70 So sorry to hear that, it must be an awful worry for you. I've got everything crossed for some Christmas magic for us all 🤞🏻⭐️ I'll let you know how I get on with the Fertilily. Fair play to you ladies who can keep your bottoms up for a long time after BD 😂👏.

Squiff70 · 14/11/2021 21:59

Hi to everyone who has just joined in, either new to the thread or migrated from the November thread! I feel we are owed some serious BFPs now. I got a BFN this morning but I'm only 9DPO today. I'll try again tomorrow on Tuesday. Something strange happened today. I started crying in M&S this morning without really knowing why. This afternoon I had sharp (and I mean REALLY sharp) stabbing pains near my left ovary. Probably nothing interesting but I was taken aback at the time! Trying not to symptom spot though...

Baby dust to everyone!
