I wonder if maybe my spotting is ovulation related and if it just happened a bit later than I thought after my peak smiley on the clear blue test just weird as I've never had spotting g around ovulation before so of course my mind has gone into overdrive about it!

@Squiff70 I found out about Ovusense through my friend who has PCOS. She purchased the Ovucore which is an internal version of the sensor and she found out after years of trying that she wasn't ovulating. I decided to purchase the ovusense wristband to give myself piece of mind that I have ovulated each cycle that we try and to work out if my OPKs were getting it right. It's worth checking them out on the website if you want that piece of mind buy it is a bit pricy!

I'm out. AF arrived in full force early this morning.
I'm a little bit disappointed but actually OK as I was expecting this to be the case anyway. It draws a line under whatever this was and hello day 1 of Cycle#3 ttc #2. I'm hoping this means I have actually managed to successfully lengthen my luteal phase to a healthy 13 days which hopefully puts me in good stead for this cycle. I've ordered some EPO to help with CM and hopefully next year will be my year x

I’m around 11 DPO and feeling less than optimistic, my symptoms are very consistent with last months so AF will most likely be here tomorrow or Sunday. Didn’t test and I’m not going to unless I’m late.

My luteal phase temps have been so weird this cycle, I might pay for private progesterone testing at 7DPO next cycle, just out of curiosity.

Hope we will still see lots if BFPs ladies, baby dust to all✨ Xx

Still no AF, but feeling like it’s going to turn up any day now. Had bad cramps again last night (although they’ve been on/off since end of last month so not entirely sure what my body thinks is happening).
Just wish it would hurry up and arrive so we can start our next cycle!

Sorry to hear AF has been arriving ladies 😞 At least you can enjoy your self over the holidays and start a fresh for 2022 🎉 I conceived my son in February and he came in December.. Lovely time to be pregnant in my opinion ❤️

I'm 8dpo and got clear positive opks & EWCM so knew for sure I was ovulating but yesterday I had very bad back ache and dull cramps like aching - felt like ovulation pain. I Took an opk to make sure I definitely wasn't ovulating and its completely negative so its not that. Who knows what my body is doing at this stage 😂

Hey everyone. I'm on CD33 and still no period 😏 have sticky/stretchy mucus still. So strange! I'm not even testing because I know we missed the window for ovulation!

Sorry to all that AF has arrived for - it should mean that O will be over the Xmas period for you, so hopefully lots of time to BD in your schedules! xx

Still no AF for me, was expecting it today/tomorrow so it is unusual for me not to even have a hint of spotting by now, but then every cycle I seem to have something a bit different. Not tested since Wednesday's BFN. I'm going to my parents this eve so if no AF by Sunday I'll test again.

Hi everyone, I can finally be a bit more active as I'm 4DPO today. It was a weird cycle this month so not feeling hugely hopeful (didn't get my usual intense ovulation pain or EWCM) but my temps have confirmed ovulation 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry to everyone who has had AF arrive. That really sucks. Hopefully the run up to Christmas is a good distraction and it'll be onto the next cycle quickly.

@Nico89 out of interest how did you increase luteal phase this cycle? I am taking b6 so waiting to see if it does anything.

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet and sorry to those who have had AF arrive. I've not had much to contribute as I think I'm a little behind you all hence not posting much.

My apps are predicting ovulation around Tuesday next week. I've been temping which does seem to be going up and my easy@home opks seem to have been rising but my CB OPKs are still empty circles after 5 days using them. Maybe I used them too early? Usually I have a 28-31 day cycle but last month it was randomly 53 days so hard to tell when I should have started. Hoping tomorrow I get a flashing smiley then solid on Monday/Tuesday.

Has anyone else experience this with CB OPKs?

@BabyBird20 I get you - I wouldn't do that at my parent's house either! I do think your spotting is ovulation related. If you're worried though you can see your GP.

11DPO is an interesting time @Mummytobe93. I admire your determination not to test unless AF is late - I need to take a leaf out of your book! I know nothing about LP temps though so can't advise you, sorry.

@MindZGap I also admire your resolve not to test - how do you do it? I'll wait for your update on Sunday then! I'm okay thanks. 8DPO today and also no desire to test. Had my third(!!!!) Covid vaccine this morning (I went for what I thought was my booster but after 45 minutes of paperwork and one nurse speaking to colleagues they decided because I'm C.E.V I needed a third jab, then will have my booster in 6 months). Anyway I feel okay at the moment but it's easlry days.

@OK92 if your temps confirmed ovulation you've every reason to be hopeful even without your usual symptoms, no?

Advice ladies... At what stage should I take a test? AF is due on 22nd December and don't want to test too early for no reason.

@AmberRH1993 we dtd on cd 19 and I got a positive ovulation test on cd23 so I doubt it!

@AmberRH1993 leave it as long as you can stand it is my advice!

@HRHXO I went straight from blank circles to a static smiley this cycle (despite testing daily). I'm sure it'll come over the weekend if you think you'll be ovulating Tuesday 🤞🏼 it's encouraging that the regular strip OPKs are rising though.

@OK92 I have been taking 1000mg vitamin C and a B vitamin complex also containing inositol every day (along with vitamin D and folic acid which I have been taking anyway)
Maybe this cycle was just a random one but I like to think after literally years of only a 10day LP it worked since it was 13 days this cycle.

@Squiff70 no drinkies for me over Christmas as working the night shift throughout, but since I'll be snuggled in bed all the days anyway and O is predicted boxing day... I think I'll make the most of the situation

I'm tempted to not even OPK this month. I know it should be around Christmas so I think we will just make it no pressure and if we dtd at the right times great if not we just start the year anew.

@Nico89 a nice way to be over Christmas … I didn’t use OPK this month as was busy with the wedding and I took some waaay later the my predicted O out of curiosity and they were negative so leaving it down to approximation!

I’m not long into TTW and already feeling less hopeful…

The sad news is … this sickness bug I have this week is WILD. TMI but never had to use the toilet so much, and just to survive I’ve been on all the meds to make it to the school run and back luckily I’ve been off work. (Not exactly how I thought I’d spend my first week of wedded bliss!) lucky husband haha

I’m really cross and disappointed that it may have ruined a safe and hospitable environment for a sticky bean. I know people do a LOT worse when they aren’t TTC but I’ve barely eaten and have had the worst cramps / hot baths all the stuff you should avoid in the rule books. GP thinking could have also been good poisoning - I was too scared to ask if this would ruin my chances of a healthy start!

Anyway, trying not to panic but typing this proves I maybe too late 🤣

Decided I will test on OH birthday! 17th December I’ll be 3 days away from period but, I probably won’t survive longer than that lol

Also @AmberRH1993 second the advice for as long as you possibly can wait! 3/2 days before if you must. But clearly on the day you’re due is the best advice!! Not that this happens much on mumsnet haha or for me 🤣 xx

Okay the symptom spotting didn’t last long! 8dpo today and wiped a little bit of brown. My luteal phase is usually around 15/16 days I think so definitely way too early for pre-AF spotting. Fingers crossed it’s implantation xx

Despite getting a positive OPK while very sick this week, I feel like it might be about to start again/start for the first time. The first test came when the EWCM just started, but I had been incredibly sick, and hadn't been able to keep down water all day. I am thinking that it caused some really concentrated effect and the result was wrong. Or that is what I am now hoping anyway so there might be a second shot. In a funny story to lighten the mood, we DTD last night, and i used a fertility cup thing to try keep things in there after, it was the first time. It was so bad. The thing was huge, I forgot to test it first. I have no idea how people use the brand I got. Complete disaster, and had the opposite effect of what It was meant to do. It was everywhere. Not a dignified attempt haha.

@beckybabyx that sounds promising, fingers crossed!
