Hey folks, sounds like a few of us have had less than ideal FWs for various reasons.

Its so hard when it feels like you have this time pressure, limited opportunity and you don't want it to slip away.

Shall we do the testing calendar again for this month? I quite liked it even though AF ended up arriving before the day I planned to test 😁

@MindZGap I liked the calendar sounds good to me. I've just booked my covid booster for after I'll have tested so at least I'll know for sure and be prepared for a potentially screwy cycle next month if I'm out

As I promised I won’t disappear from this bus, just so many things happening in the same time.
we had our first meeting w the nurse yesterday, who described all medicines, how to inject them (practised them too) and I need to put some weight on as I became so slim since the last time they saw me. Also they did another blood test for both of us just to see if there anything changed in our levels.
First baseline scan will be on the 31st December, and they do another blood test.
I had so many questions and she had the answers and suddenly I started to cry in the middle of the meeting as it became so real and so overwhelming at that point.
Poor DH was sitting next to me and he didn’t know what he should do…obviously a hug would be the very appreciate movement..but he is not good in these situation so I wasn’t mad at him, and he made it up later of the day 😅🙈

How is everyone else doing? It was so nice to see those big fat positive in November and jumping jimmys made me laugh!

@Squiff70 regrading of your cervix position and ovulation. Please don’t overthink as this is one of our body part which change position very often. Thats why we need to check in the same time everyday (same as BBT) and also don’t forget you were in a really not natural position at the smear test. Your last few post made me thinking that whoever had those weird trying-failing-trying again ovulations, they all got pregnant that cycle, so here is my baby dust for you ✨

@beckybabyx I will definitely enjoy a wine this Xmas (even if its only a glass) hoping you can’t!! 🤞

@Dobcaty sorry I missed the earlier update, are you starting IVF or is this fertility medications to help in general? That is so exciting for you/a rollercoaster of emotions i'm sure. Good luck to you guys xx

No worries @madeleine85, I think my last update was in the November one. Yes we are starting our IVF this month (had 3 failed IUI and a couple of cancelled due to my clinic doesn't work on weekends and I had my peaks obviously on Saturdays) how about you? Where are you in your ttc?

@Nico89 how are you doing? My booster is booked for 10th December so I may have to test the day before. I think even if we're REALLY lucky and conceive this cycle, I'd still go ahead with the booster but I want more info.

Heya @Dobcaty! Thanks for your post - it was very informative. I've actually had my peak this evening (and it's been three days since we DTD - eek) so I plan to jump some Jim tonight! Seriously though, I wish you the very very best for your IVF. I'm not surprised you started to cry - it's a huge thing to do through with very real prospects and possibilities too. As Madeleine said, it'll be a rollercoaster of emotions. My closest friend has had three rounds of IVF and conceived on two of them, having healthy pregnancies and healthy babies on both occasions). I really have everything crossed for you. Please keep us in the loop. Thanks for the baby dust, I'm sending it right back at you! (if I knew how to get that pretty dust on the emoticon I would).

Feel free to add dates on if you're testing after the 20th otherwise each post will be massively long! I personally wouldn't test at 9DPO normally BUT I've got my Covid booster on the 10th December and would like to know (if possible) before I go for it. I don't think it will chance my mind about having it but I do want to do some research first.

I'm properly bleeding now, so this cycle is probably a write-off. Not sure what I do now - count this as day one of a new cycle or what?

@Squiff70I'm playing the waiting game now. Currently 4DPO. DD now out of isolation and neither me nor Jim managed to get it so that's a positive (that was a positive test I did not want!)
I'm feeling really down I'm myself at the moment and trying to get my head right so I don't get a BFN and it push me over the edge
My booster is booked for 9th December, I'll be 13DPO and I have a short LP so either AF will have arrived or my BFP so I can make an informed decision RE booster same as you. I'm high risk so I'd rather not skip it but if I do get my BFP I want to know if there are any risks involved.

@Shortmamashortcycles i'm so sorry, that is so frustrating. i'd just do CD #1. At least you can get a full cycle in December now I guess?

@Dobcaty congrats on the official start of IVF, that is huge, and so exciting! I'm only CD 8 of cycle 3. O was day 20/21 the last 2, but my first one was new off the pill, the next I had the covid booster just before. Maybe this is just my cycle with a shorter luteal and longer first phase (I never paid attention to it before, so it could well be), but we will see. If the pattern holds, O isn't due till the 12th (which feels very far away), and then that would put testing right at xmas time. While that sounds like a nice potential present, I don't think my little brain could handle that pressure. AF would probably be due around the 23rd if my shorter luteal holds. Premom is putting O at the 9th, but I don't think that is correct, wish it was!

2022 is our year 💕

Hi all… I’ve been radio silent as I prep for my wedding this weekend. And wait for my DTD window of opportunity haha!

It’s been pretty chill on the TTC front which is a welcomed change from last month.
Not due to ovulate around 4/5/6th so bang on wedding weekend, but i just noticed a touch of EWCM - odd but made me want to jump on and join in!

A more relaxed approach I’m hoping for newly wedded bliss of course (not a full honeymoon - thanks Boris) but a weekend alone with potential..

It would be too perfect for it to happen this month. But you never know! ❤️

@Squiff70, @Nico89 - please do your own research, but I'd really encourage you to get the booster sooner than later. The advice from the Royal College of Midwives is now very clear - there is far more risk to you and any baby from Covid-19 than from the vaccine. The jabs are very, very safe.

I've got my booster booked in a week or so, so practising what I preach!

@Shortmamashortcycles thankyou. I do already have it booked, the 9th was the earliest slot they could offer me, only got my message to book yesterday from GP and I live a bit in the sticks so you have to take what you can get out here.
I am very much pro vaccine but if I am expecting I would rather be able to tell them so they can reassure me it is OK if that makes sense.

@Mummytobe93 so I'm at 22Dpo. I first tested at 14dpo and it was negative. Re tested again today and results are very clear. I am in a bigger body so it takes longer for the hormones to show
