Can I please have a seat on the Weird Cycle bus?

So after getting a positive OPK on Saturday I was convinced I ovulated on Sunday. But my temps were low Sunday AND Monday, and I’m still getting some CM even today!

So in all my previous cycles I ovulated within 24hrs after LH surge, and even though we DTD on the days of the surge and ovulation seems like we’ve been too late.

This cycle we managed to DTD day before my peak, and guess what? Looks like I ovulated 2-3 days after the peak which NEVER happens🙄

Either that or my progesterone rise is very slow but how on earth can you tell? I’m fuming 😪😂

@Mummytobe93 sorry can I ask how you know you’ve ovulated? I got my peak yesterday but don’t know when exactly I ovulate?

Another one for weird cramping here! Going by my app predictions (no more angry posts about Superdrug ovulation tests, I promise), ovulation has been and gone with my next AF about 10 days away.
This is my third day of random cramps and pains!

@Hopingforarainbow27 I usually get a sharp pain/cramp, with wet CM followed by a rise of temps next day and change in CM. I had the pain on Sunday but no rise in temps until this morning and still getting wet CM… so weird!

That’s good to know. I had my peak yesterday but my husband fell asleep so we didn’t dtd and the last time we did it was 26th November as I had some ewcm. I feel angry too!!! Feel like that’s another month passed and have to get through Christmas feeling angry!

I'm officially in my FW got first flashing smilie today. We weren't sure if we would try this month after lthe two CPs but DH is actually working local til the new year (he normally works away) so spoke about it and decided since he's hear we don't want to miss the chance. However his work are having them work late so he'll be working 7am-10pm so hoping he isn't too tired to dtd 🤞🏻 will see how it goes. AF will be due around 10/20th.

Hoping for a sticky beans all round this Xmas 🎄

The TWW is so frustrating. I know a BFP is very unlikely for us this month, but even if it’s negative I’m excited to start over and try again! Come on, December…

Is it bad that I keep thinking well at least if it doesn’t happen this month I can have a drink at Christmas the only thing getting me through the TTC emotions haha xx

Turns out my OPKs are still negative but it feels like I'm about to O. I'm on CD11. So confused.

Been a bit quiet as I was obsessed last month and decided to be a bit more chill this month!

Cycle 2 of TTC#2. On CD9 today and came across the SMEP the other day so decided to give that a go. Husband was very excited to hear how regular we will be DTD 😂🙈
So according to the plan will be start OPK's tomorrow too.

I did another opk today as the smiley had gone off the screen, I got another static smiley same as yesterday. Do you think it’s too late to dtd tonight?

Also does anyone else’s smiley disappear from the screen after a few minutes?

@Hopingforarainbow27 definitely not too late no. Remember ovulation takes place 12-36 hours AFTER your peak! Go and have some fun!

Just the fact I’ve had two losses in a year, the second one my sister in law and I were 2 weeks apart and It’s difficult to see her pregnancy continue and I don’t know why mine didn’t :( then ttc again with the fear of losing again and also the fear of not even conceiving again. Especially with Christmas and everyone happy and looking forward to it, I’m just not in that head space. Im CD23 now and I’m overthinking now that maybe that’s too late for ovulation and it wouldn’t be a healthy cycle to fall pregnant. Honestly it’s a whirlwind 😢

Hi everyone, I'm back - arrival of AF hit me hard last cycle, I'm much better again. I think I tried to explain it in the November thread, it's not so much as being out and not pregnant that got me, but the fact that my body seemed to be playing a trick on me. I don't read too much into any symptoms but the metallic I developed I only ever had when I was pregnant. But then again, maybe my body is changing because of the acupuncture, who knows.
That was longer than I anticipated my re-entry, but here I am :) 2dpo already, I think we covered our bases quite alright, and I hope for many BFPs in this thread!

@Hopingforarainbow27, sending you a huge hug, love. That's a lot to go through this year, and your SIL's situation is especially tough on you.

I'm also really deflated today and thinking that this cycle is a non-starter. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I'm trying to let go of expectations and relax. It's so hard to admit that something isn't in our control.

Try to be gentle with yourself - no-one should be expecting you to be thrilled about Christmas this year. It's totally ok to be not-joyful sometimes. ❤❤❤

Welcome back @Bundaberg84! Fingers firmly crossed for you to get your BFP in 10 ish days!

I know what you ladies mean about your bodies playing tricks on you. I also had a very metallic taste in my mouth at the end of last cycle then AF hit full force after days of BFNs.

This afternoon I've had a smear test and the nurse said my cervix was high, meaning ovulation isn't close or has already happened. I get home, do an OPK and it's POSITIVE. I'm on CD12 yet I had a very nearly positive OPK on CD7. So there was me thinking I ovulated very early and that was us out this cycle send yet it seems ovulation is imminent. Mr Squiff is working til 8pm and I suspect he'll be too tired to DTD tonight. We'll see.

DD is off nursery with a cold today and just decided to drop a pile of poops in the bathtub. I could feel my eggs retreating into where they came from 😂😂
