@Nico89, makes perfect sense and you're being super sensible. I've just had to hear too many stories about early deliveries and premature babies with unvaxxed, very sick mums from my friends in acute healthcare.

I can add to weird cycles. I used to have amazing CM but it’s just… gone in the last few cycles. I miss it. I did a clear blue test though and got a static smiley.

Everyone else: I seem to be so rubbish with usernames and remembering who said what. The only ones I can remember well are the OP and people who have names in their usernames, like nico and lottie. So anyway:

Sorry to hear people are feeling down because of losses, the stress of TTC, DHs falling asleep, bodies playing tricks on you etc. And also what a pain for those whose cycles are all over the place - as if TTC isn’t stressful enough. Sending everyone good vibes and baby dust (can I send this even though I’m not pregnant)?

To the lady who started IVF - good luck and hope all the hormones etc are okay. Wishing you all the best 😍.

I agree with whoever said it’s such a fine line between letting DHs know when it’s Jumping Jim time/fertile time vs trying not to put pressure on them. I think it was @madeleine85 and @beckybabyx? My DH felt a lot of pressure initially but after we had a good chat he is now better at realising the importance of the window (but still can feel pressure at times). My being more relaxed this month is definitely helping.

I’ve decided not to put my name on the calendar. Since this is my trying-not-to-be-obsessive-month and I haven’t done OPKs, I’m not 100% sure yet when I’ll test and also am trying not to think about testing at all. I’m sure the obsession will start once I get closer to potential testing time but don’t want to think about it before then IYSWIM? But am rooting for everyone else, hoping for lots of BFPs 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I think we’re so busy it’s forcing me not to think about it and just enjoy the bliss and festive period. But our first month trying my OH was worn out 🤣never thought I’d see the day.

Thanks girls, it's getting really close now, can't believe it's already December! Honestly saying time flies when you don't do BBTs/ OPKs all of my apps are sending those reminders of the daily logs...well not this month! Of course I know im getting close to my fw but really enjoying not having the pressure and over analysing things, I even slept until 9am one morning!

So the talk we had about me putting the pressure on led to a massive open conversation about how much we both want it but need to stop stressing.. then I got what I believe to be my peak this afternoon so thank god I’m working from home due to the Covid cos we got straight on it on my lunch break and I’m feeling so positive!!! @chiatta I read (I think here) that if CM is low, evening primrose oil capsules can really help. I've started taking them this month. I think there is an increase, but not sure if it is due to the EPO or just time off my pill increasing. If you do give them a try, just make sure to take pre ovulation only, post ovulation can cause issues with implantation.

Quick update from me - pretty sure my random double-period was a very early miscarriage. Just done an FRER in case and have a real squinter of a line. At least I have an explanation for the bleeding!

Resetting my timeline and hoping my body decides to ovulate on schedule - if so I could still be in for a sneaky end of the month test...

Morning all, jumping back on the bus. I was in the lucky october thread and the remember remember november thread and posted once or twice in this one too as the very start but I had a 53 day cycle last month which ended in heart break as I'm now on CD5 and AF us just easing off. No ides what happened there as I'm usually fairly regular but I'm back on board for December!

I'm having a catch up now! X

Sorry for the silence, no less than 6hours after I took that test I've started bleeding on and off quite dark fresh blood. I called the doctors and all I can do is just monitor it and make sure I don't get any other symptoms with it like dizziness or pain in my sides. But she said it sounds like an early miscarriage.

I've never felt such happiness and such sadness all in the same day

I've been trying for 10 months and only just got a positive result for it then to be snatched away.

Oh No I’m so sorry @andpeggy1 ! The nature can be so cruel … please take some time for self care and don’t let it beat you down, I’m sure you can get pregnant again very soon 💕 you & DH are cable of it, all works fine it’s just maybe this time it didn’t stick for some reason…

@Nico89, thanks! Mostly just relieved to have an explanation for the weird bleeding and how unsettled and hormonal I've been feeling this week. Not like my usual run-up to fertile week at all!

Having to take another pregnancy test tomorrow to confirm it's definitely over is not ideal, but I'll survive.
