Thanks @Juno231 yes no idea where twins have come from but my first little bub got reabsorbed into me, so there being 2 rainbows next time feels very apt. Yes only allowed to go to 37 weeks then c section unless they've come before. So max 7 weeks to go!

@Ams19 twins? That's amazing! So pleased for you.

@Juno231 I get the whole feeling detached from the pregnancy, I feel the same this time round. I think we hear so many sad stories on here it makes you very aware of what could go wrong.

It's definitely nice to put a face to the names especially seen as everyone is so supportive on here

@thedaydreambelievers Hehe, I do the same. I talk to you ladies much much more frequently than I talk to my real life girl friends, and you are all my number 1 support group 😁 so huge thanks to you all!

@juno231 when many announcements in my life cause me mixed emotions, your announcement (and any others on here) bring me pure joy. I'm genuinely thrilled for you! Also I 100% love that your announcement box is ready... I hope I get to present mine to my OH soon!

@Juno231 @ChinChilly I totally understand the fear but all I'd say is another thread I was on there were 10 of us and I was the only have to have a mc. So every change both of you will have a successful pregnancy, even with previous losses thrown in. Also your BFP looks fav for 10dpo @juno231. I was still getting negatives with the first pregnancy so mine was definitely an implantation issue

@kay00 ha well I had a card and baby gro ready since spring 2020 so I can't believe I might actually get to use them! Got a pretty Xmas box from TK maxx at lunch and got an expectant father book that will arrive from Amazon tonight 😅. All i need now to finish off the box is the digital piss stick!

I'll def post a chart (and rhr) plus a recap and cycle summary this evening - I've just got dinner to devour first!

@MintGreenLife haha thank you! Honestly I just feel a bit funny about it all, like it's not real and I'm silly to even have shown you gals my bfp 😬.

Right recap time. I came off the pill in Sep 2019 and started properly tracking ovulation from Jan 2020. Since then I've had zero BFPs and instead have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. All along I've had on average 27 day cycles and ovulated every cycle as far as i know.

In the last two years I've had my blood drawn for TTC 3 times, had four ultrasounds, a hysterosalpingogram, a hysteroscopy, a laparoscopy, and OH has had two semen analyses. Nothing wrong with us on paper! Was due to start IVF beginning of next month.

Honestly I think I'll keep that IVF appointment until the last minute. If I have a CP I won't even tell them as I can't stand the thought of waiting another 2 years for help or having to fork out thousands of pounds for private help because of a technicality...

Now as for this cycle. I'm sad to say it's been my ugliest temping chart so far 😂. First OH forgot to bring my thermometer to the hotel we stayed at for a wedding during my FW - and that's when it looks like I ovulated! Then I've been horrendously ill for the last 8 days and it's not just messed with my temps but also my resting heart rate, so I can't tell what's me and what's virus 🤷. Please also note we've DTD twice this entire cycle 😆.

In terms of doing anything different... Don't think I did? Like nothing at all. Although actually - I'm on my second week of cutting back on dairy and bread? Swapped my milk for oat milk as my psoriasis has been flaring so I thought it it was worth a shot.

As for how I feel symptoms wise. I've had sore boobs this week - sorest they've ever been. At times it's hurt to even wear my coat. I've had a metallic mouth yday and today but honestly that could just be me being ill. I tested with a cheapie yesterday as my RHR was making me secretly hopeful even though I knew that rationally it was skewed by said illness. There wasn't a line but I swear I could see one lurking? I definitely tried to tell myself I just had line eyes but I bounced out of bed this morning to try again just in case. A faint line cropped up and in disbelief yet complete emotional detachment I decided to confirm it. And here I am!

It's interesting what you say about dairy... I have always been reluctant to cut back but maybe its worth a shot?

Sorry I've been quite absent guys! Just been feeling really low about this all. AF came early at CD24 this month and just feeling super deflated about another cycle trying. Especially as we tried a lot this cycle . Literally DTD every other day for the whole cycle 😅 if I get the BFP this month then the due date is super bad timing for us ha ha (but there's no way I'm not trying! Will just deal if we get it!)

Had nightmares all night about taking pregnancy tests for OH. Kept getting them wrong, losing them, getting distracted etc. One of them even told me I wasn't pregnant and that I had cancer instead!

Anyway, as you can see I got my 1-2 weeks! So I told OH this morning ♥️. He first read the card that says "guess what?" On the outside and "you're going to be a daddy" on the inside and immediately teared up with a squeaky puppy voice "really??". Now I'll have you know we've been together 12 years and I've never seen the man tear up! He's been asking a million questions since - including whether I can cross my legs until the 1st September and what star sign the baby will have 🤣

@Kat668 thank you! Don't kill yourselves over BD - if you track ovulation then DTD every other day all cycle is not needed surely. I'd die and OH would divorce me😂

@Kat668 I second what Juno says. I leave it a few days after my period ends then we DTD every other day until I know I have ovulated. I was talking to my OH about TTC last night and he said 'we have not chance this month, because we haven't had sex'! Haha, we actually had plenty of sex around my ovulation but just none since

@Juno231 great progression and thanks so much for sharing your story and how you told your OH. That’s so touching. If anyone deserves this it’s you, you’ve always been so supportive to everybody else on this thread And it’s great to see you get your BFP. Also gives such hope to those of us undergoing/waiting on treatments to see! I’ve my fingers crossed with @TheDaydreamBelievers for a cascade of BFP’s.

@Kat668 sorry you’re having a tough time at the moment. It does all feel a bit pointless sometimes doesn’t it. Out for another month here too and it was a perfect cycle in terms of coverage, ovulation etc. But I get such hope from seeing other long termers have success and know it’s just waiting out there for us too 🤞

Thank you Juno, @Kay00 and @Gracie2021 . We actually aren't tracking ovulation as OH felt the pressure too much with that! And as I've never had a regular cycle we can't even really predict when ovulation will happen so getting maximum coverage just seems the safest way 🤣 trust me OH is not complaining about this method! Just me getting sick of it haha!!
