Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

@lottieb92 - @Danani explains CB opks perfectly! I've had the blank circles during FW in previous cycles as started testing too late then went straight to static smilie. I thought id missed it all together but hadn't.
I start testing around cd8/9 now as usually 28/29 day cycles. Think I'll get the easy@home next cycle as CB is too expensive to keep up every month!

My LH strip is way darker than last month .. Last cycle we did it day after I got a positive which clearly didn’t work so I’m happy we caught it just before my peak. I’m already anxious though about seeing a negative later this month cause I really feel like we gave it the best go we could 😬 🤞🤞🤞xxx

Do ye think a few drinks affects TTC? I haven't had a drink in a good few weeks but feeling like adding in a bottle of wine with the food delivery. Any thoughts?

@Irishfarmer it’s nothing to be proud of but I got absolutely hammered twice last month (my hen do and my wedding:)) and I haven’t noticed any side effects this cycle… I’m sure couple of glasses won’t do any harm 😉

Been MIA for a couple of weeks after AF arrived but back once again with TTC cycle no 4... Got my peak today and managed to DTD at lunch time (I'm working from home and DH has the day off). Also DTD yesterday and the day before, might try and go again tomorrow and Thursday for safe measure. This is my first fertility window where weve both been at home and around the whole time so I'm wanting to make the most of it

Then 2WW begins with AF due around 17th. Got a couple of trips in that time which will be nice for a distraction.

I agree CB is sooo expensive but I do like how clear it is and the fact that it measures estrogen and LH once you've tested enough. Are there any others that do that?

@Mummytobe93 Ya prob do no harm. My two friends that have kids (both unplanned both 20yr old) were drinking before/ during/ after getting pregnant! Obvs stopped when they found out. Altho one didn't find out til she was 4 months gone and she was drinking heavily, she was a rep or something like that on a party island that summer! Both their DC are perfect. Just I suppose when I'm now actively trying, I'm trying to reduce the risks as much as possible. Although I didn't drink for a few weeks before either of my pregnancies or during and both ended in MC so if it's not meant to be it's sometimes not meant to be.

@Irishfarmer, I've continued to drink whilst TTC, I honestly don't see what harm it can do. Dietary changes take 2-3 months to make a difference so avoiding it during certain times of the cycle is unlikely to have much impact.

I was shocked at how much plastic came out of the CB OPK box! A bit shameful, so I’ll certainly try the others next time.
@Irishfarmer @Danani and @BH1926 cannot thank you enough for sharing with me as I’m too scared to tell close friends and family we are trying yet! And this is all a bit new to me you’ve all been so kind.

Just navigating this damn thing.. I started with the boots OPK strips about 7 days ago and now have done 2 CB ones, luckily we’ve been pretty active across the board. So don’t think I’ve missed mega opportunity just trying to be in tune with your ovulation is harder than I ever thought. But I usually do get ‘mittelschmerz’ and intense cramps and my mum always tells me hurry up to get home when that happens 🤣

Also @Mummytobe93 I have my hen do on the 13th! And that’s when I could do an early test ekkk But I think I’ll be waiting for a missed period (laughing as I know I won’t! Lol)

Hey guys, been MIA cause not much going on but having a similar issue to @Irishfarmer with apps. Flo saying im still too early for FW (starting Thurs with o next wed) and my femometer saying O is today. Both had exact same data put in 😂 so going by opks got the flashing smiley today but strips (femometer) still saying low so just going to go with temping and opks I think. Did get ewcm today so it is definitely close and managed to dtd today too. Fingers crossed.

CD15 for me, had a nice dip in my BBT so I assume it’s the O day for me. I think we timed it as close as we could this cycle so fingers crossed it works!

@Leibee87 welcome back 😉Id definitely go with OPKs and BBT, I’ve got a few different apps and they’re not in sync at all!

@lottieb92 omg testing on your hen do day, this is literally me last cycle- I was only 9DPO but I wanted to test in case there’s a hint of a line.. if there was I wouldn’t drink half as much as I did 😅I hope you get to see a positive by then 😊

Actually, I’ll be around 10 DPO on the 13th so I’ll definitely be testing by then 😬

I had some OPKs left at home so I took one yesterday in the evening and one this morning. I got good lines so I'm probably ovulating today 😆

I got my peak on the easy@home tests last night and another high reading this morning, is it safe to say I will probably ovulate today? We DTD last night and going to try for tonight and tomorrow just to cover all bases 😂

Yes indeed, it’s high likely you ovulate today @Coco9910 ! Sounds like you’ve got the right plan in place to cover all bases 😉

Morning everyone, i posted a while back thinking we weren't dtd enough, well this morning i cant stop crying and so upset with DH. I got the static smiley yesterday at 6pm, DH knocked out 10 and said he couldn't this morning as he wasn't feeling well. I have now lost all hope for this month and feel like he has taken that away from me, after waiting what feel likes forever for this week. We have only dtd on Monday, am i overreacting? x

Hi @mia899 - No I don't think you are over-reacting. It is really frustrating for you and I completely understand why you feel really upset. I would try to stay calm. You still have tonight and tomorrow. How long have you been trying? I completely understand it feels like such a small slither of time in which to DTD for the purpose of a baby. Big hugs.

I got my static smiley this morning and my DH isn't well either so in a similar boat. We dtd yesterday though so hopefully that's sufficient.

Errmmmm bit of a shocker from me...I can't believe it, I'm absolutely stunned. I have zero symptoms at all and was convinced my period was late due to Pregnacare as I tested on the day it was due and 2 days later and both were negative.

Just got these tests this morning to double check what I already knew and they've come back with BFPs!

Honestly sitting here in shock, I really thought I'd instinctively know when it happened and I honestly didn't at all 😳

@mia899 I’m sorry hunny, I know how frustrating it feels! I hate having this type of conversation with my DH cause it makes me cringe but equally if he’s serious about TTC and wants a baby he needs to be on it just like you are. 💕

@FlyOnTheWall89 thanks so much for your kind words, this can be such a lonely experience. This is our third month of trying which i know isn't long but i've always felt it would take a while due to period issues. I don't mind if it doesn't happen in a month that we've tried our best, but if its like this i feel so hopeless and upset. I will see if i can stand to dtd this evening!

@mia899 definitely not overreacting. I am in exactly the same boat, I got my static smiley last night and a very obvious peak on easy@home tests and we ended up having a big argument as he was too stressed and tired - in the end we ended up DTD (because he knew how much it had upset me) but very awkwardly which isn't like us! We also DTD Sunday so hopefully enough - as @Leibee87 said, it only takes one swimmer!
Don't worry though you're definitely not alone!! This TTC is difficult but we all have each other- vent on here! xx

Hi all. Hope you're all well :)
I was on the October threads but took a break because I haven't had a period since 10th September which is completely unheard of for me. I had one tiny positive test day of my last missed period but then all negative afterwards so the doctors said probably chemical pregnancy. I still haven't had a period but I think I got a positive test this morning (v faint) I'm assuming this a new pregnancy but what would of happened to the previous one if I've had no period?

@xoxo321 you can get EWCM up to 5 days before ovulation and at that point I would expect v low results on an OPK. Start DTD every other day now :-).
