Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

DTD every single day actually isn't a good thing as too frequent sex (or DIY) reduced sperm quality. Every other day should surfice, but try to DTD on your most fertile day (otherwise known as your 'peak' ie/ when you get that static smiley on the CBs).

Oh boy these OPKs are driving me insane and I haven't even been doing them long! I started right on CD5ish and now on CD14 and nothing. I've tested ~2x a day. Of course there are still a few more days to go but whoa I feel all consumed. Would experienced folks say is is more likely to miss the surge or... that there just isn't one?

I have the opposite problem - most of mine seem to be positive or 'high' on premom but no sign of ovulation and it's been this for around a week 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi all, can I join? I'm 2dpo ttc number 1 on cycle one. It's all been a bit of a minefield. I'm pretty sure we dtd at completely the wrong time so we shall see how it works out!

CD14, got my bfp OPK this morning, managed to DTD last night (or actually this morning as it was around 1 am!). I went to bed around 11 pm ,
DH was supposed to join in shortly after. I fell asleep waiting for him, woke up after midnight and he was still downstairs! How is it that on the most important day of the month he’s the least interested?! But you can be proud of me ladies as I sent him a passive aggressive message and he was in bed shortly after that and delivered the goods 😜
Downside of DTD late is that I can’t go back to sleep so I was tossing and turning all night! Took my temps this morning but had to discard it, I’m not sure if I had more than 2-3 hrs of decent sleep🥴 So yet again I haven’t got a reliable temps on the O day…

Hello @whatacarryon2018 👋 Sit back and relax now, I’ll be officially joining you tomorrow as 1DPO… cycle 1 can be very confusing, I wish I paid more attention to my body before TTC. This cycle (number 3) I feel like I finally track everything properly and know what’s going on! But don’t get discouraged, as long as you had sex at least once in your fertile week the chance is there 😀

@lottieb92 hiya! Just like previously said, aim for every other day so DH’s swimmers have got time to regenerate 😉 Wish you all the best with last wedding prep, had mine a week ago and as stressful as it was, I wish I could do it again! The whole day felt like a dream 🤩

Took a test this morning (14DPO) and BFN. Can feel AF coming too so sure I'm out for this cycle. Oh well, on to the next!

Hoping I can still join in this thread as I should ovulate around the 16th and then will be back in the TWW towards the end of the month.

Sorry that I’ve been MIA, I’m totally fine, just work has been busy, and then nothing much has been going on tbh…in TTC terms time has been dragging- I’m still somehow only CD 11 😂🙈
Just entered my FW yesterday, OPKs still low, but O is not predicted until Sat/Sun, so I guess that makes sense. I have my Pre-Seed at the ready lol 😂

Actually, one thing to share is I have been pretty good with BBT so far! I mean it’s only been 11 days, but I have been consistent with timings and my line is so far pretty tame and has little fluctuations, nothing like the raggedy monster of last cycle! We’ll see if I manage to keep it up the whole cycle!

I’m probably not going to be overly active until end of the week when I have more to contribute but I do come in here every morning and catch up with where everyone is up to! Good luck!!! 🍀

Morning all, been driving myself nuts so reaching out for some opinions! I tested on easy@home strip pregnancy tests on 8dpo and 9dpo. Unsure on the order of the strips in the pic as my DP picked them up... we both think we can see the faintest of lines but I'm sure I've just got badddd line eyes! I've been having weird cramps, pulling, twinning in my lower abdomen and loads of watery creamy CM (TMI sorry!). I'm 10dpo today but haven't bothered testing. What are your thoughts- be honest u won't be upset lol.

Just to add- I know its probably way way too early and the pics are rubbish, you probably can't see anything on them but in person I swear there is something! Maybe I'm going mad! I'm going to hold off and test again tomorrow at 11dpo I think!

@Irishfarmer I'm sorry about your MC! That makes sense then. I use a different app, in the settings I can say "ignore unusual cycles". I had to do that as well when I had my chemical and my ectopic, otherwise it'd calculated with 40 day cycles as well.

@hopefulmumma90 I feel sick all the time when I take primerose oil, I had to start taking them before going to bed and it does the trick.

@HRHXO I think I can see the faintest hint of something on the last strip. Did it show up within the time frame? I hope it's the beginning of something!

@beckybloomwood11 I'm sorry you feel like AF is showing up; you're still not out though but I know how it feels. But yes sure please stay with us, after 2WW is before 2WW right? It's early November after all.

@HRHXO I don't think I can see anything, sorry. But it is still super early so might not be registering yet! Try test again in a few days (said as someone who knows she'd be testing every day several times probably!!).

@lottieb92 The CB tests are super expensive, I think it's just because of the brand and the little computer chips. The easy@home ones had very good reviews on amazon and are a lot cheaper. You take a pic and upload it to their app, it think works out how much LH is present and you can see if it is going up or down over the month.

I'm somewhere in the middle of the cycle, I don't track ovulation though, so just going with the flow. 😆 I'll be following this thread though! I was already in the October one, so just hoping I don't have to wait until 2022 for my line. 😬😊 Been ttc #1 since last December.

@HRHXO I can't see anything but it is too early to reliably test. Someone else shared this on another board. It shows it is super unlikely to get a positive that early even if your are indeed pregnant. x

@HRHXO I don’t think I can see anything - but I’m rubbish at these plus it’s really early and photos never seem to show as clearly as in real life! Maybe if you can bring yourself to hold off for a couple of days and test again it will be more clear? Fingers crossed for you!

Nothing to report here. Think o may have been yesterday so I’m tentatively going to say I’m 1dpo. But my apps vary wildly (fw anywhere from cd6 to 16!), so going to just keep doing what we’re doing until af shows (or doesn’t!). So I kind of have a tww/fw combo attitude going on here 🤣

@lottieb92 CB OPKs really really (I cannot stress this enough) really depends on when in your cycle you start testing...In the leaflet, it tells you depending on your cycle length when to start. Just as an example, last cycle I was impatient and started testing earlier than "recommended" so what happened was I got 7 days worth of flashing smileys before I got the static (peak). This time, I actually started a couple of days later than "recommended", so for the second day in a row I'm getting a blank circle, and I have a feeling I will continue to get it until I peak, when it will go straight to static. This test really takes whenever you're supposed to start as your "baseline", if you start too early, you'll get a bunch of flashing before static, if you start too late (and you're already in your FW), you're likely to get blanks until you peak.
Sorry for the essay, I guess this was a very roundabout way of saying - you haven't missed anything, it's just a bit temperamental so just keep doing what you're doing. :)
I also second what others have said - the cheap strips off Amazon with the app that reads them - so much cheaper, and you can do multiple times a day to really narrow down your Peak.

@lilrosemarie I love your chilled approach! I honestly think when you stop obsessing, things happen, so I'm crossing my fingers this is the one for you!

Arghhh fed up, should be cycle day 2 or 3 today but instead still waiting for AF to show up after just come pink discharge on Sunday morning.

Done 2 cheapie tests and both negatives, so I'm convinced the Pregnacare I've been taking has lengthened my cycle, which is really annoying.

Just want AF to come so I can crack on with this month!

Also I agree with the comments on the CB OPK, I wish I never got it tbh as it was so expensive and my ovulation tends to be later than predicted so far, so I think this month I'll run out of sticks before I even reach it is I start testing on the day they told me to based on the length of my cycle.

I didn't realise you had to do all that so last month I just bought it and did it on what I thought would be a flashing smiley day, but obviously as it needs a baseline it came up with the O. Then I got my static smiley 2 days later, without any flashing in between. Think I will use up what I have this month but not reinvest in that one, it's too complicated for me. Not to mention too expensive and too much plastic.
