Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

Joining!! TTC number 1 and this will be cycle 13

@crabcake31, I start my cycle from first day of full bleeding, not spotting, and that seems to work for me - ovulation based on that is usually cd14-17.

@crabcake31 I'm the same as @Shortmamashortcycles first day of full bleeding and the app I use doesn't count spotting either it uses first full day. My O is normally cd 14/15 and seems to be right going by opks xx

Sorry to hear about your ectopic @SkaterChick. How are you feeling about TTC again?

I'm not completely out of the water yet with October bfps but my spotting has been on and off for 3 days and my cramps are getting stronger.

I'm planning to chart my temp from next cycle (which I think will start tomorrow) but my biggest concern is I definitely catch flies while I'm sleeping 😬 does this affect things? I've read different opinions.

@beckybabyx I’d say the most important bit of advice is to literally take your temps as soon as you wake up after at least 3 hrs of sleep. Like just after you start coming around after a sleep, as soon as your open your eyes have the thermometer ready by your bed. For the first couple of days I was taking it way too late,
like good 30 min after I woke up. Half an hour can make a big difference in temps, not even mention getting up.
And then if you wake up earlier or later than usual, I’d use this website to adjust your temperature

TTC baby number 1 and it’s our 4th cycle. I’ve just got some easy@home ovulation tests so I’m planning to do one every day just to get a better idea of my cycle as I feel like I have been missing my true peak the last few cycles.

Hi everyone! I was going to join the October thread but think the November one is more appropriate since I'm ovulating next week and 2ww will take me into the start of November! (I've always had a lucky feeling about November 😉) We're ttc number 1 and this is cycle 1! Trying to stay calm but also can't contain my excitement. DP is being his usual chilled out self, why are men so chill!?

Joining! Ttc #1 , cd 1 . Not tracking just using Ovia app. Came off pill September 3rd so all the tracking etc is still a bit confusing to me 🙈 x

@kitty1993 my DH is the same, so chill, sometimes annoyingly so. He is trying to be supportive but I don't think he understands why I'm so obsessed. For me it is about trying maximise all the things I can control! I hope it is your lucky month!

@cocoforbes I think he still believes what he was taught in sex Ed at school- that all unprotected sex will lead to a baby 😂 I've had to have the chat with him and explain it's not quite that simple. I have to give him some credit, he tentatively asked me yesterday "what days do we need to dtd?" So I've told him which days he'll be required 😂. We've both agreed we don't want the "schedule" to become too regimented but I have a feeling that's going to go straight out the window first moment I see EWCM 🤦🏻‍♀️

@kitty1993 @cocoforbes my partner is the same 😂 he really thought it was going to happen after our first dtd using no contraception and it wasn’t even in my fertile week. He’s definitely learnt a lot these last few months and tries to look interested when I’m shoving my OPKs at him to show him the lines getting darker 😩😂 xx

Hi all jumping on this thread as really hope November is a lucky one 🤞🏻
I'm currently experiencing a chemical pregnancy, had a very faint positive urine test yesterday and also today but my blood HCG level is too low. I'm having another blood test on Monday to re-check but I know it's a chemical. This is my 3rd loss in a row after my first chemical in April and a MMC at 11 weeks pregnant in July.
This is cycle 10 for us TTC #2

Sorry to hear about your chemical @WillowTree0721 really hoping November is a lucky one for you.

After 3 days of light brown spotting got a BFN this morning and moments later AF arrived in full force. So CD1 for me and we move into November, cycle 4 TTC#1.

Me and DH both born in November so I'm feeling lucky. Think ov has been around CD15/16 the last 2 months so that would be 4th or 5th November.

@WillowTree0721 I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriages.. I truly wish you conceiving soon and having wonderful pregnancy 💕

@Coco9910 @kitty1993 don’t even get me started with how oblivious men can be regarding TTC. The “it happens when it happens” approach ended at cycle #1 for me. After seeing that first negative tests, when I wanted it to be positive, my approach changed to “it will happen ONLY if we make it happen”. I was too vague with him, but I’m being perfectly clear this cycle - no sex in the fertile window = no baby😂 that’s the only way it can happen. I’m not going to pressure him into DTD though, if he’s not in the mood etc. I’ll just let him know when the most optimal days are and if he’s up for it (since I always am 😜) then he knows what to do😂

We’re getting married next week and the fertile window starts right after so I’ll use it as a good opportunity to go with the flow😉

Tentatively hopping on the November bus. I'm still in the October thread but I'm in my fertile week with AF due around 6th November so unlikely to have any sort of result before the end of October.

I'm 31 and DP is 30 we are TTC #1 and it's been 7 months since I came of the pill but probably only the first month REALLY trying.

I've been getting flashing smiley faces on CB OPKs all week and DTD twice so far. Still waiting for peak but will continue to DTd either way.

Tried to dtd yesterday and he got cramp and it killed the mood for him 😑 I had to hide my disappointment 😂
I feel like a b**ch for feeling that way but they don't get that we have a set window!!!!!! then it just feels a waste of a whole month ☹️

Going to try again tonight and see how it goes 🙄🍆 wish me luck 🍀

@Danani I have really tried to keep a semi chilled approached but when the fertile window approaches I’ve lost all sense of being subtle and keeping it cool 😂 if November isn’t the month for me I might start temping 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can I join too? Would love November to be THE month! CD4 of cycle 5 TTC#1 here. Been using CB ovulation tests and going to continue (despite the cost of them 🙄). Did SMEP last month, but missed the last try, planning the same this month. Have taken to just informing DH of the DTD days needed at the start of my cycle and then no more is said 😂 Have just started proceive vitamins, was just taking folic acid and vit D before. And going to try conceive plus pre-seed. Getting impatient already so it's great to have others to vent to.
Fingers crossed it's a lucky month for us all 🤞♥️
