It seems AF is coming to get me end of this week (Fri), so instead of feeling sorry for myself I’m trying to look forward to October and getting to try again! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@BrownEyedSquirrel that is me 100%. I’m not that bothered now, I’ve got the “it is what it is” attitude but once I’m last ovulation I’ll enter the psycho mode for sure 🤪😂 at least we in this together!

@Danani ahh I’m gutted for you! I know what you feel like, and don’t feel bad for being annoyed, I’d be too - not at DH but the situation. It’s like we’re trying to bring a new life into this world and silly things get in the way… hope he feels better soon and is ready for some action 😉

We e got my DH’s DS with us this weekend so not much action is going to happen but from Monday onwards it’s ON😏 DH is starting a new job and he’s excited about it so it should work in my favour .

TMI but I’m a worried about my CM (if it’s going to be enough) so I might crack and get the pre seed ( or any other fertility friendly lube). I swear the stress makes me dry!

@Danani Its completely understandable that you feel that way, I don't think anyone realises the stress if TTC until going through it and any extra bumps in the road easily cause frustration. Hopefully Cd9 wont make much of a difference. Fingers crossed you get back on track and your DH is ok!

Im on CD11 of cycle 10, I fell pregnant this month last year but unfortunately the pregnancy ended at 16 weeks. I have been told by friends that maybe October is just 'Our month' but I feel quite deflated already. I have mixed emotions as due date would be nearly identical to our last pregnancy 🥺 I don't test for ovulation, I just use flo app. But the closer I get to the 12 month mark, the less optimistic I feel. Im 26 and OH is 29, I'm worried we will be brushed off by docs if we get to 12 months and still no luck as I have heard of others our age being told to keep trying for up to 2 years. I really hope it doesn't come to that. Xx

@Missy95 I'm sorry to hear a about your loss. Keeping my fingers crossed for two lines this month! I think there are places where you can go privately to have yourselves checked in case your doctor brushes you off! But I don't think he would anyway.

I'm 6DPO today and I feel like days are dragging even more the further i get 😂

@Danani I completely get it but just write it off as a hiccup and keep going! :) doing stress over it xx

@Peauela I will be approaching the TWW in a few days and I'm already dreading it 😂 I was bad for testing early last month so I really need to be preoccupied this time haha! Xx

Sorry @Danani about your DH, both for him and you! I understand you’re frustration!! My OH often has ailments that stop him from helping around the house etc and whilst I feel sorry for him, I feel sorry for me too 🙃

Still no BFP here and I think AF is due today (I think, but my cycles aren’t always consistent) I think I ovulated later this month though so goodness knows.

I’ve given up caring either way this cycle.. If I’m not pregnant I’ll hopefully get pregnant next month and have a July baby like me (and an extra month to save etc!)

@Mummytobe93 ahh thanks hun, appreciate the words of encouragement! I swear I’m usually not such a miserable cow but of course the month we decide to follow a plan it all goes to sh*t 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ Hopefully we are back on track from tomorrow or Monday! I want to get this party started! 😁 I guess the only silver lining is that I’m not yet in my fertile window, so I’m not missing out much (at least that’s what I tell myself)! I can’t wait for you to start in on the action, I know it sounds weird but I have such a good feeling about this being your month for some reason! 🤞🏻

Good luck all! Today I'm having pain in my left ovary. 9 days after predicted ovulation and 9 days before period is due. No idea what's going on! I've had cramps in the middle/low down for quote a few days but not today, just this on off pain in my ovary area. I don't hold much hope this month at all but there's got to be a little bit of hope hasn't there?

@Missy95 I know right! The wait is the worst 😂 I promise myself not to test sooner than 12DPO which is Friday but we'll see what happens 😅

The last time we dtd was the 23rd so I assumed I missed the window of ovulating because I had pink discharge on the 26th. I'm so confused, I'm talking like this is my first but it's actually my 4th I've never ever watched anything just waited until my period was due so I genuinely don't know what I'm looking for.

I'm on cycle 6 of TTC #1 and feeling so fed up

I'm 31 and OH is 37. We are healthy and not overweight but both have really demanding jobs which means we are tired all the time and we both have quite low sex drives.

This means we've only really been managing to DTD about twice (sometimes three times) each fertile window. I do track OPKs and temp so I'm confident that we do hit good days. For example last month we managed the two days before O day. This month I am still waiting for O day to be confirmed but I think we hit 1 day before and 3 days before.

However I'm just starting to worry we are not doing it enough I've been reading about those of you trying the SMEP but we could never keep up that pace!

I guess I'm just looking to voice my worries really. TTC can feel such a stressful time.

@lemons44 sorry to hear that lovely, it must be so frustrating! Try not to beat yourself up, I know it’s hard - me and my DH don’t DTD frequently either but I’m either in the mood or not. When I’m I can have sex twice a day but some days I’m completely not bothered! I must say that lately I’ve been so focused on life events that I didn’t allow myself to relax enough to be in a right headspace and send the right signal to my DH. It’s hard when you tired and stressed all the time. I’ll try to change it this month and be more positive and relaxed which hopefully will result in more intimacy.

I know it can be frustrating but I'm sure you will succeed eventually! Hopefully October will be lucky for you too :) if you really are struggling I would save the trying for right before ovu and on ovu day. We normally aren't very sexually active for the same reasons as you but knowing we want a baby we just have to put an effort and make some changes :)

I went to do some shopping today and I picked up first response tests and clear blue digital early detection ones just in case I need to use them 😋 I plan to test with the strip ones - easy @ home that I have but in case I'm tempted to test earlier I'm going to use first response 😂 and digital ones are just to confirm once I do see that line, so it can tell me that I'm actually pregnant 😂 if I won't need them this months they will wait patiently in a drawer for their time to come lol. But fingers crossed! 🍀

@lemons44 we're in the same boat, but we're a bit older than you, and working shifts. Sometimes DH isn't home from work til 2 hours after I fell asleep 😴 and then cos its so late hes dying to just get to sleep too!

Finally got to 14dpo and have just POAS - what do we think? Seems quite faint? Gahhh xx

How are we all today?

CD10 here, I still get flashing smileys on CB OPKs, but also got the easy@home strips and when I scan those, they say Low. So a bit confusing. But I hope from Mon/Tue they turn to High too! Any experience with those?

Also after my moan the other day, DH was feeling good last night and we DTD. So far we’ve only DTD CD6 and CD9, but I think it’s next week that’s important anyways. I was fully planning on following SMEP but I think in reality we’ll only loosely follow it till Peak OPK and then hopefully do it according to the plan. It’s tougher than I thought tbh! Especially if you “mess up” a day… Anyways, will do our best, and if no luck we’ll try to be more strict next time! 🤞🏻

@Danani that's why I like them! ;) they show you low until you actually go high and eventually peak so you can pinpoint when you're ovulating for sure, with flashing smiley face in CB I was constantly thinking it's coming but it could take a good few days before my high, that's why I prefer easy@home :)

And! They're cheaper which is always a plus 😂
