Thanks @Squiff70 I never knew that as never had it before, I didn’t manage to DTD as didn’t know what was going on. I thought it was strange as I hadn’t had any cm yet, and then this morning got another flashing smiley face so maybe I should get chance to DTD today

@Elsols93 I’m holding onto hope by a thread now. It is so unfair and cruel. Got all my usual aches and pains that I’ve had for the past week still though.

I think I’m out this month despite all our efforts as this morning I had EWCM and I’m at a work function this evening. Last time we DTD was Sunday, so kind of annoyed we missed the window.

On to the next cycle with learnings of my fertile window etc 🤞🏽

So…I have a question…
I got static 😊 on CB on Thu morning, and I got a Peak reading on easy@home on Fri morning, so in my calculations…I should have O’d at some point on Sat, right? (12-36 h after the surge?). Yeah, but my lowest temp was on Sun morning and it has been quite a bit higher the past 3 days so the stupid app moved O to Sun!! Can that be right? I am getting annoyed because:
a. We didn’t DTD on Sun, last time was Sat evening.
b. The bloody app is now telling me I’m 3 DPO again, when I was 4! 😤

Any advice?

Ah that's really frustrating @Danani. I guess it's not impossible to be on Sunday as it may be that you didn't ovulate until towards the end of that 12-36 hour window. You definitely dtd at the right times though if you did on Saturday night!

@Danani I really thought I would O on Monday as I had ovulation pain through the afternoon, so thought Sunday would cover it. I guess we wait to see.

I might see if I can leave my work function early for one last attempt 😂

Did you do an easy @ home test on Thursday morning too @Danani?

@Cruz86 I didn’t get a static, only flashy smileys on Sunday and Monday but then ran out of sticks. I thought because I had ovulation pain Monday afternoon I assumed ovulation would have been Tuesday, but we were just so tired last night it never happened.

I’d think that you ovulated more likely 36hrs rather than 12 hrs after the surge, so Sunday morning? If that’s the case and you DTD on Saturday night that’s perfect😀 That’s what I was aiming for with my DH but he wasn’t up for it 🙄

Ideally you want the swimmers waiting in the tube for the egg to be released xx

Ahh okay, it could well be today/tomorrow then. If you don't manage it today, tomorrow would probably still cover you too. But don't worry too much, you're still within the timeframe if you don't manage to @Firsttimetrier!

Sory, I though you had your positive OPK Friday evening. If you had it in the morning that’s fine too, I agree though that the temperature drop on Sunday doesn’t make that much sense, but I’d go with OPKs rather than BBT since we know how much things can affect it.
So I’d think you’re 4DPO indeed xx

I think that sounds right @Danani because normally on O day your temp dips right down and then starts shooting up. You're still covered by DTD the day before though, I read online that's the absolute best day to DTD to get a BFP. OPKs are great at predicting when O will happen but temperature is really the only thing that can confirm once it has happened.

@FlyOnTheWall89 glad I'm not the only one who has been trying 6+ months (although wouldn't wish this on anyone!). I know people say it's totally normal and there's nothing to worry about but it's soo hard. Hopefully we get our BFPs soon 🤞🏼 xx

@lemons44 I honestly never expected to be in this position. I remember thinking, I will definitely be pregnant by Christmas but that now feels like its impossible because I know we DTD at the right time and I can feel ovulation usually so I am sure I do release an egg (I also had a scan related to something else in May and the lady said she could see I had recently ovulated). This month we have upped our vitamin intake so I guess I will give it a few more months and then book some tests. We are 32 and 34 so not young but not 'old' either. URRGHHHH its so hard and not all magical as I thought it would be.

What is your situation ?

Yeah my issue he works away every week Monday to Thursday without fail. So we got pregnant after 5 tries and lost it unfortunately but that was back in April. Fingers crossed for this month

@Cruz86, yes, yes I did. It wasn’t high. It got high Thu evening and peaked Fri morning. By Fri evening was high again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Danani I think so as well, yes. Can you re-change the dates in your app so it calculates correctly? I sometimes put in a "wrong" ovulation date so the calculation is as how I'm imagining it to be correct.

@SammiStap I'm sorry, I was feeling so confident for you! I will still keep fingers crossed and if not we will journey together next month I'm sure!

@Danani Sex on the sat night and O on the sunday is actually the most perfect time so I think you don't need to worry anyway!

I think we mistimed ours... I will try and put my chart on. So much effort the week before, I was expecting O on Friday and had a temp dip but then didn't get OPK until sat and sun and then another temp drop on Mon so now it says O wasMonday. Never mind. I'm just organising a wine tasting party for my husband's birthday in Nov so I can look forward to that properly now!

Having thought this time I would just relax in TWW and def not test before I was late, I am already getting twitchy fingers at 2DPO. send help haha!

What does everyone think about using a early test Saturday morning 10dpo as I’m meant to be heading out on a date night don’t want have a few wines Incase but then also don’t want to test to early to ruin my weekend if bad news 🙃

@Elsols93 It's tricky, because it's possible it would show up but also possible it will be too early so you'll be none the wiser! I would just go and enjoy your wine - ignorance is bliss ;) - and then test a bit later!

@Effram yeah do you no what that’s what il do! Gona withhold from testing even though I just ordered some cheapie ones online 😩 I heard we don’t share the same bloodstream untill 3-4 weeks that’s if I was to get BFP
