It seems AF is coming to get me end of this week (Fri), so instead of feeling sorry for myself I’m trying to look forward to October and getting to try again! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

How am I feeling…I have zero “symptoms”, I’m not feeling impatient (yet), and this is the first month that I feel we gave it a proper shot by using OPKs and DTD at the appropriate days! So, I’d say I’m feeling cautiously optimistic and weirdly also at peace. Like I know this time we gave it our best shot, did the best we could, and if things don’t work out, it’s at no fault of our own and they will eventually. Does this make any sense? 😬
How are you doing so far?

@Danani Okay interesting - We have been tracking O pretty accurately I think for 6 cycles now. I got in a real tiz last month because I was so sure I was pregnant that I was excruciatingly disappointed when despite being late, I wasn't. Since then, I joined the forum and realise I am so not alone and have learnt so much. I feel at peace too. We DTD on all the right days, we have been taking our new vitamins and we used preseed. We couldn't do more at this point so I just hope maybe something will happen. Sounds like it is the same for you x

More questions than answers because I got the control line instantly then the sides of where the second line should be went blue within one minute but the flat test did not. It was just a One Step Internet cheapie.

Not blue, more purple really or whatever colour dye they use!

Ahhh @FlyOnTheWall89 I feel for you darling, who knew this whole TTC business can be such a TRIP!!! I really hope this is your cycle and you get the biggest fattest positive!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 It sounds like you are doing everything right and everything you can do, so just don’t lose hope and get stressed. 6 cycles I’m sure seems like eternity to you, but it really isn’t extraordinarily long or abnormal! You’re totally not alone!!!
For me this is cycle 3 not preventing, but hand on heart, I feel it really is cycle 1 of actually really trying. We have been taking the pre-conception supplements for the pst 3 months, and cracked open the pre-seed last time 😄 I hope we all get the good news we so hope for! 🤞🏻🍀

@FlyOnTheWall89, I just wanted to say that I was you a couple of years ago - it took 10 cycles to catch for DD and it drove me nuts the whole time! So much of it was spent learning my cycle and my body, but we got there.

This time round, even though we've had to go through a miscarriage, I've felt so much more at peace with the process. Impatient, sure, but more relaxed because I know my body a bit more. It's a classic, "can't get here until you've gone through it," bugger though.

Glad you're feeling more at peace with it now too, and fingers crossed this is your cycle!

Reading through your experiences just makes me hope even more that we have more bfps over the next couple of weeks ❤️

The bits where the dye came up after the control line have faded now as it's a couple of hours ago at least. It doesn't show on photos either (I just tried). It's too early to test anyway, I just have a POAS addiction!

@Squiff70 awww thank you birthday is Sunday but dragging out birthday celebrations as you do! Hopefully I can get a BFP as my wish!

@Danani thank you!! Birthday month means celebrating each week! Technically it's This Sunday but might as well slot stuff in before ovulation next week!

@Cruz86 I've put a decent share into clear blue -digi and rapid. Meant to buy early detection. And I used sainsburys own brand. I'm bored of buying tests now so I'll just wait for af to show. I have an inclin it'll be Friday when I'm out for food with the girls 🤣 last month I was 4 days late so I wonder if my periods have shifted from 28days to 32. Hard work this baby making malarkey!!! 😝

Hey ladies

So after thinking I was totally out this month due DH working away I've been vomiting since yesterday... so this morning (10 dpo) I took a test thinking it won't show anything well I have vvvf line! Only reason I tested was I felt exactly like I did with DD as was vomiting before BFP with her. I'm crossing everything that the line progresses 🤞🏻 and I'm not imagining it 🙈 I've attached a pic but as I said vvvf so doesn't show well.

@BH1926 Im planing on doing a test in a couple of days I think. My Af is due in 4 days as I normally have a 16 day luteal phase so might if I'm strong enough wait til after that 😬

Evening all, only just managing to catch up after the first day back in the office, which is a nice distraction.

Had strong ovulation late last night but we didn’t manage to DTD. Hopefully our other times will be successful, but I’ve come to realise that it is what it is and it’s only our first month trying and we gave it our all. If it produces a sticky bean then fantastic, but we know what we need to do next time.

I didn’t get a static smiley this morning either, but ran out of tests, so just going to wait now until AF. We’ve decided I’ll do a test on DPO10/11 knowing that it may be negative, but will do another test once DH is home which is the day AF is due.

I guess we start the countdown… ⏱

@positiveovernegative haha yeah itll be hard not to test! I know I'll crave and probs end up doing one everyday 🙈😂 I'm due AF in 4 days too - fingers crossed she doesn't show for either of us xx

Anyone else's partner work away? We've been trying/not preventing since October last year but I feel as if I can't go to the doctors because I know it's our timings. I am loosing weight and cutting back but it's hard when he's away we miss out most months

I'm also desperately trying not to test again after a chemical in my last cycle... going to test again Friday and hopefully see some line progression.
