@Equimum sorry you are going through this.

Personally I would still go to EPU for the scan - I did as just wanted confirmation that everything had passed and not have to wait weeks to then go back if test didn’t become negative. Take care x

H0peing · 04/11/2021 14:33

@Equimum I am so sorry that you've been having such an awful time! I would definitely recommend going to your appointment at EPU tomorrow. You can let them know that you're extremely worried that not everything has passed yet, explain about the powerful cramps etc and you can also explain that you are following the recent advice of a Dr at A&E as well as the advice of a Dr at urgent care. You can also ask them about having bloods, as the Dr from the RMC advised you.

You do not sound at all pathetic. You are going through an incredibly difficult time and you deserve to get the best treatment and support possible to help you through this. Sending loads and loads of love your way. Xxx

H0peing · 04/11/2021 14:48

@ElsieG3m Thanks. I am really sorry for your losses. I have had 4 miscarriages but 400mg progesterone twice per day from after ovulation and two 75mg aspirin tablets daily seem to be working ths time for this pregnancy. It seems like the advice that you get from Lesley Regan and Professor Brosens will be helpful. I am wondering if the same things that worked for your daughter, aspirin and heparin, will help you again in the future. I really hope that you get some encouraging answers soon! Lots of love. Xx

ElsieG3m · 04/11/2021 14:55

Thank you @H0peing I do wonder about the progesterone. Perhaps that's something I can try from ovulation. Do you mind my asking, did you have recurrent miscarriage testing and did anyone check for nk cells etc? So happy for you that this little one is doing well. I had two before my daughter and then a perfect textbook pregnancy right through. I was on tenterhooks the whole time but all was well. Wishing you the same experience (minus any anxiety!) xx

H0peing · 04/11/2021 15:20

@ElsieG3m I definitely recommend asking about progesterone after ovulation. I had progesterone at bfp with my 3rd miscarriage so that's why I was advised to try it earlier with this pregnancy. I had no medication for my 1st and 2nd miscarriages. I had recurrent miscarriage tests but they all came back fine. The only thing they refused to test was our eggs and sperm, despite me asking several times for those tests, but they tested everything else. Xx

kiwi17 · 04/11/2021 15:53

@Equimum that all sucks I'm sorry :( I would echo what the others have said and definitely still go as I reckon it'll be easier to get answers from them face to face especially about bloods and if you think there is still stuff left due to cramping. I did expectant management and after I passed the main sac etc I didn't cramp much more so not sure if you should still be cramping lots?

Babyghirl · 04/11/2021 21:51

@Equimum
Go to your scan tomorrow for peace of mind if nothing else, I stopped cramping after passing the sac just bleed awhile after so don't care what anybody says for going. 💚

Equimum · 05/11/2021 13:30

Thanks for your advice everyone. I went to the appointment but they wouldn't my scan me as felt it wasn't appropriate. The nurse's feeling was that I will have passed the sac without knowing and that the cramping is just residual. They said to call in a week if it continues. As always, I have really appreciated your advice and support everyone.

kiwi17 · 05/11/2021 14:26

Oh that's frustrating @Equimum but hopefully reassuring I guess that they weren't worries about the cramping? I'm sorry :( did you find out about taking bloods for the rmc team?

PeanuttyButter · 05/11/2021 21:40

Sorry I'm not active on here at the moment I'm away.
It's the start of my fertile week and DH has said he doesn't want to try this month as he needs a break, he doesn't want the DTD stress while we are away. I'm devastated and I know I shouldn't be as my body probably could do with the break. But I just feel helpless, I don't like the idea of the fertile week just slipping away followed by a tww just for my period with no hope.
I just don't want him to say next month that he wants another break...
Il probably stay off here until AF comes because although I love the support all you girls give me I don't feel like I can help or support you at the moment. This holiday has been planned for 2 years.. I just keep thinking I would have been 34weeks now...or 13.5 weeks... Or possibly 3 weeks if we were trying again.
Rant over xxx

Equimum · 06/11/2021 08:26

Oh PeanuttyButter, I can understand that that must be so disappointing! I'm not sure that making suggestions to try and focus of enjoying your holiday are going to help, but Imm sending a big unmumsnetty hug your way.

No kiwi17, the nurse that needs to book them wasn't there, so they've said she'll call me. If I don't hear by the end of next week, I'll chase them.

27DONFIN · 06/11/2021 21:11

After anyone had their HSG did their period come early? I had my test Monday and I think my period has started tonight which is over a week early. I'm never early

Annny27 · 06/11/2021 21:26

@27donfin mine came a few days early but i had also had the lap so can't say whether it was that or not. But any kind of test like that can fluctuate the cycles

Will reply to everyone else tomorrow but that just came up on my notifications and didn't wsnt to leave you worried that it hadn't happened to anyone else :)

@PeanuttyButter it must be incredibly frustrating for you that DH doesn't want to try this month whilst you're away! I really hope that you still manage to enjoy some time away together. I hope that you always feel able to come on here to receive support, even when you don't feel able to help or support anyone else as I think that is part of why this group works so well! It always feels like, out of everyone on here, whilst we have all gone through our good and bad days, at least one other person is able to offer some support / understanding / encouragement. I'm sending loads of love your way and really hope that DH will be open to trying again soon xxxxx

@PeanuttyButter I'm really sorry that image came up. I really didn't mean to add it to your message! Xx

PeanuttyButter · 07/11/2021 21:04

@H0peing I'm not gonna lie I did think Hmm at first but then just assumed it was an accident Grin. If I made it as far as you are after the year you've had I would be shouting it from the rooftops! Your right that we are all here to lean on and support each other and sometimes we take more than we can give, but it all evens out. I have been praying for you and your baby since you told us about your bfp.
I will be ok, when it's meant to be it will happen.

H0peing · 07/11/2021 21:22

@PeanuttyButter thank you so much for being so understanding about my mistake! Thank you so much for your prayers! I honestly believe that your prayers and the support from all of the amazing women on this group helped to give me the strength to try again after my fourth miscarriage with the twins as that one hit me the hardest. I am praying for you too and yes, it will happen! Loads of love xxxx

H0peing · 07/11/2021 21:31

Hello everyone,

I had my 13 week scan yesterday morning and the sonographer said everything looked good so that was a huge relief! Still 6 months to go but really hoping this is my Rainbow Baby! I feel more relaxed now that I've got to this point as all 4 miscarriages were before this stage and the risk of miscarriage reduces a lot after the 13 week scan. The only difference I can think of this time is that I took progesterone pessaries after ovulation instead of after bfp with low dose aspirin so that seems to be what I needed. I have a friend who was given progesterone and low dose aspirin at bfp after 3 miscarriages and she's currently heavily pregnant and all is going well with her plus another friend who's also heavily pregnant after progesterone and aspirin with ivf having previously suffered one miscarriage following years of TTC so it definitely seems to be what some women need after miscarriage. I'm sure there's other medication that works as well. I just wanted to share some positive stories about friends of mine. I look forward to hearing all of us on this group being able to share positive stories in the future and am extremely thankful that we can support each-other / receive support from each-other along the way. Xx

H0peing · 07/11/2021 21:50

Just wanted to add that another friend of mine now has a beautiful, healthy baby girl following recurrent miscarriages and didn't need any medication at all to get herSmile She was on a long waiting list on the NHS to get medical support when she became pregnant with her. xx

Babyghirl · 08/11/2021 09:42

@Equimum
Hopefully everything settles down for you. 💚

@PeanuttyButter
Awww Big hugs but a break might be just what yous both need to enjoy the holiday, I don't tell oh when I'm in my fertile window as not to put pressure on him lol 💚

@HOpeing
Love hearing them stories I hope it helps me for my next bfp, definitely going to say to my rmc consultant again about getting progesterone for after ovulation thou. Congratulations 💚

Well the witch is slowly coming on her broom stick so hopefully next month lol. Sad me send away for a fertility reading on etsy 4.30 it cost good reviews on it lol just abit of hope I'm looking, should receive it today at some point.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 08/11/2021 10:22

Hello everyone how are you all doing so I am roughly 8 or 9 DPO with horrible groin pain hope it passes xx

27DONFIN · 09/11/2021 12:32

Hi ladies hope all ok?

After my post on Friday night with the dark brown discharge thinking my period was coming it hasn't and I am still having the dark brown discharge daily. Should I be concerned?

kiwi17 · 09/11/2021 13:33

Could it be ib @27DONFIN?

27DONFIN · 09/11/2021 14:10

@kiwi17 sorry I know this will be daft but what's IB?

kiwi17 · 09/11/2021 14:19

Oh sorry implantation bleeding! Just because of the colour?
