@spotsmama
Maybe fone the out off hour doc they norm keep antibiotics, they might give you some as it will be up on your records about the uti.

Babyghirl · 30/10/2021 17:07

@spotsmama
But I have heard your symptoms do start to drop around that mark as the placenta takes over x

H0peing · 30/10/2021 20:07

@Spotsmama I agree with Babyghirl about trying another way to get your antibiotics like an out of hours doctor. You could call 111 for advice. It's really good that your midwife told you about it being common for symptoms to change around this time. I've never had a uti in pregnancy but I did have a loss of pregnancy symptoms at around 11 weeks and then baby was fine at my 12 week scan yesterday. I also know other people who lost pregnancy symptoms at around 11 weeks and they now have healthy babies. Xx

Spotsmama · 31/10/2021 07:46

Morning, thank you. I did ring 111 in the end. They said a pharmacist would call me back to sort it but no one ever called. :(
Been up all night worrying and now I have some cramping that makes me worry. Feels like I normally do before I start my period. Trying to stay positive and think it's just growing but I don't have a good feeling and feel like I'm just waiting for a bleed now....

Sweetbabydust1989 · 31/10/2021 10:01

@kiwi17 congratulations lovely so please to hear this hope you're well....

I finally got a peak on my ovulation test so glad I test twice a day or I wouldn't of picked it up until this morning I am hoping we have done enough now other half is shattered and I am back to work tomorrow so makes DTD harder as we are like passing ships he works days I work evenings.. We have DTD on cycle days 5,6,8,10&13 surly that's plenty of time I got my peak on CD12 but we technically didn't DTD until early hours as was watching movies together 😂 I no I won't ovulate until a few days after my peak so hoping his swimmers stay alive hope you ladies are all well and bumps are growing lovely xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 31/10/2021 10:06

@Spotsmama sorry you're going through this only thing I could suggest would be going to a&e and getting the on call doctor to do a prescription especially as you're pregnant they shouldn't be leaving this my sil was admitted a few weeks back as she had kidney stones was a nightmare as they left her in agony for a few days and she is deemed high risk due to all her miscarriages she has had I wish we had a place to go when pregnant that's open longer hours so we can divert the a&e hope you get it sorted lovely xx

Spotsmama · 31/10/2021 10:44

Fingers crossed @Sweetbabydust1989

Thank you, the out of hours Dr rang an hour ago and has done me a prescription I can go and pick up now. So glad. Its different from the one my GP prescribed but quick Google and its safe and will hopefully do the same job. If scan goes well tomorrow I think I'll feel a bit more better about it all.
Yeah, there is something missing within the NHS to support anxious women in pregnancy. It's not been serious enough for A&E and my midwife is only available one day a week so I never know where to go to for support or reassurance if I have a question or worry.
How is your SIL now? Xox

H0peing · 01/11/2021 12:25

@spotsmama It's terrible that 111 didn't call you back!!! What time is your scan today? I hope it goes really well. Xx

H0peing · 01/11/2021 12:28

@Spotsmama Oh, I've just seen your more recent post. It's a shame they took so long to call you but I'm glad you got your antibiotics. Xx

27DONFIN · 01/11/2021 15:14

Just home from my HSG all positive was bearable sore and only for seconds wasn't as bad as a coil. Tubes all clear. Consultant gave us full results of other tests ultrasound clear and blood test to check my egg numbers were really high especially for my age he said. So we are labeld as unexplained infertility. He's put us on the wait list to start IUI says the waiting list for our hospital isn't long will be start of the year

Sweetbabydust1989 · 01/11/2021 16:35

@27DONFIN good news on clear tubes hun.. I hope they speed things up for you!! I am in agony today has enough has a positive opk late Saturday night and have been cramping ever since xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 01/11/2021 16:52

So positive opk on Saturday evening thankfully the holder showed a static as it was one pee stick away from being flushed down the loo.. I am currently on cd 14 and by god the cramps are unreal I want to cry it's like a dull ache in my belly and back I has strap stabbing pains in my right side yesterday a long wait ahead 😩 xx

Annny27 · 02/11/2021 09:44

@h0peing glad you are getting the extra scans and reassurance, must be difficult after losses xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 02/11/2021 09:51

@Annny27 they do take a little while to come out mine did and I was shocked to see half of it in my bed 😂 I am a little worried I am on cd15 now had an positive opk cd12 and haven't stopped cramping but the side I had my other 2 ectopics has been hurting I am not sure if I am over sensitive due to my previous losses so feeling like something isn't there xx

Annny27 · 02/11/2021 09:53

@sweetbabydust1989 awwh it's probably nothing and it's just you are hyper sensitive to any sensation given what you have gone through! I think I read that ectopic pregnancies implant quite late so any early cramping you may be feeling is probably just normal. But totally understand why you would be worried!

Hahah ooh I look forward to finding them then hahha

27DONFIN · 02/11/2021 09:57

@Annny27 best of luck first cycle post op. How you feeling now? Thanks was feeling all sorry for myself last night that 2 years on and we are now having to start IUI. Is it bad that I honestly can't visualise myself pregnant or with a baby at all. In a way I feel my gut is telling me it's not going to happen and I just need to stop fighting it. So difficult

Sweetbabydust1989 · 02/11/2021 10:00

@Annny27 honestly I didn't even realise the belly button one had come out lol now you feeling in yourself now did they do any biopsies?? Oh I think it might be a hyper sensitive thing I am just so paranoid if it's another one then I am at a loss as the op came back clear xx

kiwi17 · 02/11/2021 15:44

Ahh thanks @Annny27!! I know I'm still no convinced- 5 weeks tomorrow and have had shoulder pain since my bfp which realistically is muscular from a heavy backpack but obviously am convinced is ectopic despite no other symptoms 😑 hopefully isn't a cp now though... will try and upload pic from 12dpo 😀

Sweetbabydust1989 · 02/11/2021 15:54

@kiwi17 woohoo congratulations I am in the 2WW now I am sure you're fine but I no that ectopic feeling/fear never leaves you xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/11/2021 03:21

Congratulations @kiwi17 !!!!!

@Annny27
DH is going to be working there but it was our decision to move. We both chose this country kinda in the middle of each of our countries 😄 and my brother very near too

Been testing daily for 30 + days on opks and hpt and gave up. I have no idea when or if i ovulate but I did have a period start 2 days ago after i posted! And that was a 49 days cycle 😅

I have a colposcopy and biopsy again in 3 weeks so i really need not to be pregnant (not that it will happen anyway 🙄)

Equimum · 04/11/2021 09:24

Hi Ladies, I know this isn't conception related, but I kind of feel safer asking here than on the general miscarriage boards.

So, following being told there was no heartbeat on Wednesday of last week, I had a really heavy bleed on Monday and got sent to A&E. the flow slowed while I was there, so the tunas said there was no need to see me and that I could come home. Saw urgent care on Tuesday as fainted, had bloods taken and iron prescribed. Now, I have a repeat scan due tomorrow. The EPU nurse said, when I was last there, that I didn't need to go to this scan if I'd had a heavy bleed, and should just do a repeat PT in three weeks. Her advice was that if that was negative, I didn't my need further input. Both the A&E dr and the urgent care dr, however, have said that I should got to the scan. I'm still getting powerful cramps that wake me at night, so I'm not convinced everything has passed, but I am scared that I'm going to piss them off if I turn up tomorrow.

Just to add, I had completely forgotten to cancel my call from the RMC yesterday, so that went ahead. The dr I spoke to said that I should have previously had bloods six weeks after my miscarriage, and that I need to ask the EPU about that.

Baring all this in mind, would you still go?

Sorry, I know I sound pathetic, but I just feel a bit lost at sea, and no idea what I should do!

ElsieG3m · 04/11/2021 11:13

Just checking in here to say hi to everyone after a quiet spell. I had a miscarriage end of august/beg of September, then a weird period then found out I was pregnant last Saturday. I had bloods drawn and got the results this morning - only 7 so another miscarriage. We had one healthy daughter conceived naturally and born at term with aspirin and heparin due to a blood clotting issue that I have. For my august miscarriage, I had to stop aspirin and blood thinners for a week due to some bleeding in my eye and then lost the pregnancy shortly afterwards. For this one, I stayed on blood thinners but added in progesterone shortly after positive pregnancy test. I've booked a hysteroscopy with Lesley Regan so suggested after the august one just to keep going...going back to see her next week to see whether she thinks differently now. I've also booked in for a consultation with Prof Brosens in Coventry for nk cell testing. Does anyone have any hopeful stories to share after 4 miscarriages (with one healthy child in the middle?). I'm 37 so feel time is not in my side but seem to be having the same issues now as I did at 33 so surely can't all be that? A fertility doctor (Paul Serhal) recently told me he thinks I just produce bad eggs. I felt like crawling into a ditch...
Thanks in advance and hope everyone is keeping well. Lovely to see some good news stories on here from @H0peing and @Nuggetlover27 xx
