@27DONFIN I'm OK overall. I'm really grateful that last week's 11 week scan went really well with lots of movement and a good heartbeat but I'm still worried with the 2.5 week gap between scans until my next one. I'm hoping that I'll relax a bit if my 13 week scan goes well then relax even more after the 16-20 week scan but I guess it's just hard not to worry for anyone with previous losses.

I'm extremely grateful for this group of women who understand and I'm looking forward to hearing about all of our Rainbow Babies in the future. Xx

Thank you for the birthday wishes 😊
Woke up to AF this morning so that's something, although I'd convinced myself I could be pregnant with how rotten I've been feeling. Bit sad putting my mooncup in when I realised it's the first time I've been able to use it since Feb as that was my last non miscarriage bleed, it's hard not associating it with it to be honest. Will prob go quiet after today as going away tomorrow so be back in the tww before I know it.
Hope you all have a good Friday and have something to look forward to this weekend, even if it's just a glass of wine xx

SLCxxx · 29/10/2021 09:16

@Sweetbabydust1989 ahh yeah I do not miss that flashing face! Hopefully you get your static today or tomorrow so DHs opp doesn’t clash! I remember every month thinking I was going to ditch the OPKs and never did 🤣

@H0peing I’m so glad everything went well with the scan. My private scan at 9wks was a week out from my NHS scan so will be interesting to see how far out yours is. Good luck for next sat, will be thinking of you 🌈

@Equimum I’m so sorry for what you are going through. It’s okay to cry and be angry (I even smashed stuff), just take it easy and know however cruel and unfair this is, it isn’t your fault xx

SLCxxx · 29/10/2021 09:24

@Babyghirl I bet they are hard work, just having 1 puppy was hard work, lol! My fingers are crossed it will happen before then too 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m good thanks, now 23+3 and confirmed by many scans (have spent a lot of money on scans, lol) that we are having a baby girl due 24th Feb 2021. Feels like it’s taking forever and I’m still super anxious but feeling her little movements are reassuring. Can’t wait for you all to have your rainbows 💕

Annny27 · 29/10/2021 09:50

Hello ladies :) been a bit MIA but been recovering from op.

So I have been bleeding daily since the op (normal its supposed to tail off after a week) but then It started getting really heavy again and I realised my period was arriving a few days early so I went straight into my period and it was really heavy this month (again that happens after a laparoscopy ) but I am so bored of wearing pads! It looks like it is lightening up now towards end of period 🤞🤞

@sweetbabydust1989 when did your stitches start to dissolve? I am about 11 days after and not sign of them going anytime soon haha!

@babyghirl the pups are just gorgeous! Do they make squeaky noises? And how is the pups mum doing?

So nice that you are helping your friend!

@27donfin I can't help with the hsg pain either as they did it when I was under for the op too! All clear for me :)

@SLCxxx a baby girl that's lovely 😍 🥰🥰🥰 and amazing to be over half way! Yep I am annoyed with the ivf thing too but I am hopeful that with the endo removed, things can happen naturally 🤞🤞

@peanuttybutter sorry to hear you are having a hard time :( glad AF is here for a fresh start and you can start this new cycle with hope xxx

@skaterchick for opks to be positive the 2nd line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line :)

@Annny27 hello lovely hope you're recovering well.. with my stitches they took 2 weeks to dissolve but they were rather weird as they actually dissolved and the strings just fell off I panicked it first 😂 I am on day 5 Of flashing smiley faces I am actually loosing it here now 😂 xx

27DONFIN · 29/10/2021 10:23

@Annny27 awww that's typical AF to come straight afterwards no wonder your fed up with pads.

@Babyghirl awww the pups are just took cute I don't know how you get anything done I'd be rubbish just sitting with them all day lol

@SLCxxx glad your doing well. So nice hearing girls from here getting their 🌈

H0peing · 29/10/2021 11:30

H0peing · 29/10/2021 11:35

@Annny27 glad to hear that your period is lightening up now and I hope you're getting as much rest as possible. Xx

H0peing · 29/10/2021 11:39

@PeanuttyButter sorry you've been going through such a tough time. I hope you managed to enjoy at least part of your birthday and I'm sending you lots of love and positive thoughts for your tww. Xxx

H0peing · 29/10/2021 11:47

Just waited 1.5 hours for an extra doctors appointment today (due to my history of recurrent miscarriage as well as bring 40). She gave me an extra scan today, which I wasn't expecting. Very quick with no photo but we saw baby moving and heard a good, steady heartbeat so that was definitely reassuring! I asked her if it was possible to get any other extra scans and she's agreed to see me again at 16 weeks. She wants me to reduce my progesterone pessaries from two per day to one per day because she could see my placenta today and the placenta produces it's own progesterone. She also said that I could either stop taking it completely at 20 weeks or 28 weeks. X

Sweetbabydust1989 · 29/10/2021 14:37

Day 5 of flashing smiley face these are he young old very fast I am contemplating flushing it down the bog now I think the clear blue app told me to test way to early.. stupid question how long does sperm keep alive xx

kiwi17 · 29/10/2021 19:44

Thanks for checking in @SLCxxx ! Sorry I've been a bit Mia recently- decided this cycle as it was a year since we've started ttc 2 that I would give up on the extra vitamins, legs in the air and mooncup etc and just temp and opk instead and guess what... just had a bfp at 12dpo with evening wee as well!! Super excited but obviously not trying to get ahead of ourselves and will need to take each day as it comes after last time. Kind of knew I was though as we've been on holiday and just got back and I'd been feeling tired flushed and grouchy 😂Hope everyone else is doing well!

Equimum · 29/10/2021 19:46

Congratulations Kiwi17 - that's such exciting news. I have everything crossed for you x

kiwi17 · 29/10/2021 20:02

Thank you @Equimum I really hope things improve for you - I'm sorry you're having to go through this again :(

SunnySideUp2020 · 30/10/2021 06:57

@Annny27 so pleased to read your op went well and you are recovering well!
After I had my polyps removed in the uterus and the exploration done I remember having a super heavy period... so heavy I texted the doc! She just advised to monitor and take iron and vit C supplements. But it settled and that same cycle we conceived. So i always thought it got a good flush! Hope it will be the same for you.

Congrats @H0peing ! Lovely scan pic!

@ELM7 how are you getting on?

We are finally moving to Switzerland with DH and baby next month. Initially we decided to not continue ttc but since I am on CD48 and no sign of anything and ran out of opk and preg tests and not really time to DTD much at all we are not preventing but not trying.
I am still BF 6 times during day/night at least and think this is messing up my cycles.
But I know it is normal!

Babyghirl · 30/10/2021 10:54

Hi everyone, I've not been on for a while. Its good to come on and catch up and see some good news from some of you, sorry not everyone has the news they want yet. I'm struggling a little this weekend and need some advice, reassurance maybe?
I'm 11 weeks now, we had a scan at 7 weeks and 10 weeks which were both really positive. I've been so anxious I've not slept, struggle to eat and lost alot of weight which was a worry. The 10 week scan helped and I started putting weight on and relaxing a little.
However I got told I have a uti on Thursday and still haven't got my antibiotics, online delivery has gone wrong. I'm so worried its going to effect my baby or cause another mc. Today I feel different, my boobs don't feel as full and my bump/bloat of a belly doesn't seem to be the same today. I've had a headache since yesterday but think it's just stress. I'm dreading going to another 12 week scan (on Monday) to be told our baby has no heart beat. Has anyone had experience of uti and been OK? My midwife did say not to panic in week 11 if things change as hormones drop a bit this week. I want this so bad, I can't bare bad news. Any words will be helpful xox
