You have given me hope ! I keep telling dh that we need to before the surge but he doesn't get it haha !! The funny thing is how often they want to do that then when it comes to timing needing to be sort of included they aren't so keen lol!! Men !! 🤭🤭

@90mamabear hello! It’s been quite stressful so far. At 5 weeks I had a bleed, it felt like a period but mainly for one day, it calmed down by day 2. Due to this I thought I had lost the pregnancy. I did a test a few days later and it was negative so I had to get my head around that and we did come to terms with it and thought about trying again straight away. I then started doing clear blue digital ovulation tests and the static smiley kept coming up each day which I thought was very odd! Did another pregnancy test and it was definitely positive. Then I had brown discharge for a while but that has gone now. I’ve done quite a few tests since then and they have all been positive. I think the negative test I did was negative as it wasn’t an ‘early’ test. Done some non early tests since and they are positive now as well. The whole thing has been very confusing. I went to the GP last week and he was confused as well! He wanted to get me in for an early scan but the hospital said I had to wait 2 weeks. The GP wanted me to go back in a week so I’m there again tomorrow and if the test is still positive I think he is going to push for the scan. I feel like until I know for certain what is going on I can’t get excited about this yet. Sorry that was a long response to your question! I hope you are doing well x

@ShellUK09 . I would advise you have bloods done with the go to check ur hcg levels to make sure they are appropriate to ur stage of pregnancy. If you have any abdo pain or anything go to ED. as soon as by ur dates you are six weeks make contact with the early pregnancy unit and you will get an early scan . I know it's hard but try not to worry 💕 I hope u get sorted soon x

@90mamabear thank you 💕 I am currently 7 weeks and 1 day going off the last proper period, so surely I can get a scan now?! My GP surgery is quite awkward and won’t do blood tests on site, you have to go up to the hospital for that, if I was going to the hospital I’d rather go straight for the scan. Anyway will see what he says and will keep you posted. If I’m prepared for the worst I’ll be able to cope, but will try to think positive and not get too stressed x

@ShellUK09 sorry you’re going through this it’s really so hard such a rollercoaster. I bled with both my pregnancy’s. One ended in mmc the other my DS. Stay positive xx

@ShellUK09 you can get a scan. You can get one in the early pregnancy unit 100%. Tell them you have bleeding . That's enough to get a scan. If the spotting continues I would go to an emergency department They will go bloods and refer you . 100% you should not be left in limbo. Another option would be to privately have a scan - it would be internal at this stage but would give peace of mind xx

When I went to A&E they tested bloods but wouldn’t scan. EPU was appointment only for me but you could walk in on weekends

@90mamabear and @Mama500 thank you for your kind advice. Fingers crossed I get some answers soon, I just want to be out of this limbo now! I’ll ask if there is a walk in at my EPU at weekends and I will be first in the queue x

@Hope18 ttc number two also !!! Number 1 was a surprise and I had no idea trying could be so stressful. I really need to shake myself I have got stuck in a real negative though process that it can't snd won't happen me and of course it can! I hope your little one is ok 💕

@90mamabear Aw gosh, same here. So we MC in Oct 2017, and fell Jan 18 and they say your more fertile after a loss etc.. I was so suprised when we fell so quick last time.. ( and grateful!) but even though this is only cycle 1 I really thought I'd be more chilled..but as soon as TWW hit I've lost the plot😂😭

I think we DTD a bit early.. Although I read sperm can live for up to 5 days.. But who knows.. I've got a feeling I actually ovulated on the Thursday but we DTD Monday and Tuesday as the app said that was higher days..
But when I read online it says subtract 14 days from 1st bleed of month to when next is due..

Who knows. Lol. Its so hard!! X

I’m currently ttc baby number 2 - first baby (3 months) is IVF but we’re going to try naturally for 10 months or so before having IVF again next year so I might be here for a while!
Currently 1dpo!

Literally trying not to symptoms spot but it has of course began 4/5 dpo and cramping so bad and I'm trying to ignore it lol!!

@90mamabear @Mama500 sad update from me. Managed to get to the EPU today after my GP made an urgent referral. At the hospital she said they couldn’t see anything on the scan apart from a tiny blob which confused her, she then did an internal scan and couldn’t find a pregnancy that way either. They did a blood test, had to wait in the hospital for an hour and a half for the result and my HCG level was 43. They advised I likely did have an early miscarriage when I had the bleed on 10th September and I have to do another pregnancy test in a week to confirm a negative result. Feeling quite deflated but glad the limbo is now over and taking it easy now after a very intense day, all while I was meant to be working from home today! I had to tell my manager I had gone to hospital for tests but I didn’t go into any details. They said at the hospital if I am still testing positive this time next week to call them back as it may be the early stages of a new early pregnancy. They said never to use early tests or digital tests and to rely on missed period, and cheap tests from Home Bargains which is what they use! So going to try to follow that advice next time as early testing can drive you mad, I was obsessed last time! Very impressed with my GP today for making sure I got seen today and going to try and chill out tonight x

@shelluk09 I'm sorry to hear about your tough day today.. And sorry for your loss. A loss is a loss no matter what stage.. And it definitely hurts. I hope you have a comfortable evening.. Nice warm bath and some yummy snacks?

@90mamabear the TWW is awful waiting isnt it any slight twinge and I question!! Today I've had some more cramping so not sure if AF is just letting me know the planned appearance will be on schedule lol.
