Hope this works girls, haven’t done this before, we’ve run out of space on the other thread.

@Misty84 this is INCREDIBLE news!!! I’m thrilled for you and it’s a bonus that it gives the rest of us hope too. Loads and loads of luck to you x

Still thinking and praying for us all ladies - I never forget you gals! 🙏

thislittlebird · 19/11/2021 14:14

@Misty84 oh wow, congrats 🥳. Amazing news. Can’t believe how it just happens after all this time and one round of ivf. It’s bonkers.

Carla2601 · 19/11/2021 18:26

@thislittlebird exactly this!

Also, my doctors have really helpfully decided to give me my blood test results without actually looking at them. Based on my basic deduction skills I think they’re normal but I’d love a view point as I’ll now have to wait till Monday.

These are the day three ones:

Progesterone:

TheBirdintheCave · 19/11/2021 20:11

Congratulations @Misty84! I’m thrilled for you :)

Pamparam · 19/11/2021 22:09

@Misty84 this is truly incredible news. Crossing every possible appendage for you! X

Misty84 · 20/11/2021 11:02

Thanks so much everyone for the well wishes, really kind of you all, and I fully believe that if it can randomly happen to me with all my shite stats then it can happen for any one of you and I hope in the coming months or next year that will be the case 🙏🙏🙏 I’m still very much invested in everyone’s journeys ❤️
Ps. In the last few months I drank a small glass of pomegranate juice each day, we both ate 2 Brazil nuts per day, increased exercise, had a glass or 2 of wine when I wanted, wore warm socks to bed every night, did fertility acupuncture every 1.5 weeks. (Plus all the supplements of course). Just a few ideas that may or may not help!

@Misty84 I have such cold feet I was desperate to ask about this but thought you might think I was mad! TYSM for the tips.....won’t hold my breath this month but those certainly won’t do any harm so I’ll give it a go. Hope you’re feeling well

Misty84 · 21/11/2021 07:18

Not at all @Carla2601, think TTC can turn us all a little mad! Oh I also cut out plastics and stopped toxins- no nail varnish, perfume etc (since April). Not sure if any of these tips were the magic combination or it was just a lucky alignment in the end.
We have double the miscarriage risk due to my partner’s high sperm dna fragmentation so I’m certainly not skipping off into the sunset just yet. Wish I could properly enjoy it but we’re a bundle of nerves!

@Misty84 it must be so anxiety inducing but I hope you’re managing to enjoy some moments of basking in the joy of the BFP too. Please keep us updated with how you get on and in the meantime I’ll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you x

Geriatric1234 · 21/11/2021 19:04

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH @Misty84!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSS!!!!!!! Do you remember almost a year ago I told you I believed you’d get a BFP?!? Well, just saying I WAS SO RIGHT!! I AM ALWAYS RIGHT!!! 🤣🤣❤️❤️ WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

My DH has now had a vasectomy as we wanted to draw a very firm line under ttc as I just didn’t like it at all!!! Too much stress for me and I just couldn’t commit to it properly as I was always content childfree. It feels wonderful to be back to me again drinking all the wine and coffee I can find 🤣 I say this just for anyone who the universe has decided not to sprinkle baby dust on, as it will be okay. More than okay, honest. Also my DSC are now teenagers so that helped…(they are wonderful and lovely but wow those hormones are quite the rollercoaster!!).

However, MISTY GOT HER BFPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!! I genuinely did a little fist bump here for you! ❤️❤️❤️

Now @Marvellouslymadmum and @thislittlebird I need you two to get yours and frankly it would be the best start to my 2022! X

P.S: New car ordered. 🤣

Misty84 · 21/11/2021 19:09

Thanks so much @Geriatric1234 you have always been such a wonderful support to us on here and a ray of sunshine! I’m so glad that you’ve found a happy path for yourself and you can go wild on coffee and alcohol- woohoo!! 🎉 Xxx

thislittlebird · 21/11/2021 21:36

@Geriatric1234 good to hear you feel better and back to your normal self. I’m glad you’re at peace with it all.

I don’t think I’ll be getting any good news in 2021, unfortunately 😩. I have to test in a couple of days and I don’t want to. I’m sure this medicated cycle didn’t work, just like the other two didn’t. £2,500 down the can. Funded IVF will hopefully start in January though, I’ll have been on this thread over a year. Depressing af.

We got distracted by holidays and the DH’s 40th so new car is on the back burner. Maybe I’ll get one of those in early 2022 🤪

Currently in a nice inn in the Mendips but their boiler has broken so I’m feckin freezing. Moving on tomorrow to another hotel, I’ll wait until I get there to have a shower!

AnxiousWannabe · 22/11/2021 18:09

@misty84 I.AM.SO.HAPPY !!!!!!!!
Congratulations!!!!! It's such great news!

How are you feeling? Are you coping well with food ? Do keep us posted!

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/11/2021 21:32

@TheBirdintheCave unfortunately we don't get to choose when we meet people that would be so much easier! I met my ex husband when I was 23 and had my two teens at 25 and 27 but we split 7 years ago and been with my current partner 6 years, had a mc 4.5 years ago and now 42 and still trying which I never thought I'd be doing as I always wanted my children young 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Misty84 I'm so so so pleased for you!! Congratulations lovely that's amazing news, it really does give me hope especially as I have a similar amh I think!

@KatRee I've seen some success stories with low grade embryos so 🤞🏻 for you

@Geriatric1234 great to hear from you! Glad you're doing well and yes that would be amazing!! Have you got to wait months for your new car? We ordered ours in august and we're supposed to get it in October then it was December then end of January and now it's the beginning of January 🙄😂

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 how are you getting on?

@thislittlebird hope your holiday is going well and you got warm!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 22/11/2021 22:11

@Marvellouslymadmum I hope you get your car soon! Mines just broken down and I'm thinking I'll be without for a while what with all of the delays in them coming in.

All good here thanks, except I have gestational diabetes and so I think I'm starting insulin next week as it's getting worse.

How's everything going? Are you starting your mobile beauty and nail art business now things are opening up?

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/11/2021 23:05

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 the delays have been a nightmare! Our car hit 200,000 miles yesterday so we really need the new one 😂
Gestational diabetes is not good! But hopefully they'll be able to control it easily for you.
I've been doing some mobile appoints yes, I've also just passed my Microblading qualification so will be adding that in now too! May even hire a little room a couple of days a week for that. How far along are you now?

Misty84 · 23/11/2021 07:41

Thanks @AnxiousWannabe I’m doing fine, no difference with food or anything really, still feel the same! My only symptom is sore boobs which started before AF (as usual, so I assumed AF was coming) and now hasn’t gone away. I didn’t have any spotting in the days beforehand like usual which prompted me to do a cheapie test at 11 dpo. It was an absolute squinter but darkened over the next two days and then a digital at 13dpo confirmed it. Was absolutely gobsmacked. I’m still checking for blood every time I go to the toilet, can’t get my head around this after 28 cycles! Really want all you girls to join me ASAP now!!!!

Thank you @Marvellouslymadmum and WOW, 200,000 miles!! I thought my old car had done well at 120,000! 😛

Marvellouslymadmum · 23/11/2021 08:04

@Misty84 would be a great year if we all ended up successful!
The car is a bmw diesel so has a workhorse engine in it, never missed a beat at all! Had a few other things replaced over the year but never the engine 🤞🏻 it holds out until the new one is finally here!

Misty84 · 23/11/2021 08:19

@Marvellouslymadmum Aww that’s so great, there’s nothing like a reliable car! :)

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 23/11/2021 08:22

@Misty84 it'll be a shame to let it go but there's rust on the underside now so I'm not sure it'll even pass another mot ☹️

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 23/11/2021 08:49

@Marvellouslymadmum congrats on passing the microblading course. Sounds fab!
I'm 30 weeks, but it still doesn't feel real really. Got a few complications so hoping all will be okay

Marvellouslymadmum · 23/11/2021 09:36

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you 😊 oh wow 30 weeks, that's gone so quickly! Complications are a pain but hopefully everything will be ok for you. I think it's only properly real when you're holding them

Geriatric1234 · 25/11/2021 17:57

@Marvellouslymadmum YES! June 🤦🏻‍♀️ AND ordered a new sofa which - is going to take 18-20 weeks. WHAT IS GOING ON??? Can I get a car on Amazon Prime???

@Misty84 how are you feeling? Xxx
