@shelluk09 welcome!! Im 36 too, ots good to hear your cycles have settled since you came off the pill 😊 hopefully it won't be too long until you're pregnant.

@missC07 that's a pretty strong OPK, perhaps you are about to ovulate late? Keep dtd and testing just in case 🤞🤞

CD8 for me and not a lot to report. I might start doing OPKs early next week.

@ChinChilly awww same here, I don’t know anyone directly who has had a MC however there was a girl at work who had one when she was quite far on and she told the manager she didn’t want anyone to ask her anything about it when she returned to work from the sick so no one talked about it. That was her way of coping and I can understand when you are at work you just want work to be a distraction. She did go on to get pregnant again a few months later and that was successful. It is very useful to know what is going on in your body, I think I’ll keep doing the ovulation tests each month to see if a regular pattern emerges. Yes we’ll see, I wish things happened faster but trying to take my mind off it at the moment and have been out and about with the dog all weekend. Good luck to you too.

@Kay00 hello it’s funny I do feel quite old to be starting out with this but I’ve never felt ready to start a family before now. I was on the mini pill as I suffer from migraines so it is the only pill I can take, but I did really enjoy the lack of periods! My cycle returned fairly quickly, it was as if my body had been crying out for me to stop the pill! Wishing you all the best

@Kay00 OPK back to next to nothing today, so must've been a wonky reading yesterday- the wait continues 😫

Just popping in to say hi to all. Calling the private fertility clinic tomorrow to get the ball rolling on assessment.

@MissC07 mine go straight back down the next day so i wouldn't discount it - I reckon your peak was yday!

@TheDaydreamBelievers best of luck today - have you decided on which clinic to go for?

@ShellUK09 welcome! If you have fairly regular cycles already I'd just focus on doing the deed every other day for most of the cycle and that should be you covered.

Had an email from the fertility clinic today - asking OH for a bank statement showing his salary being paid in... We've already sent that before but whatever . Bodes well for their organisational skills!

@juno231 to be honest, neither GRCM or GRI have amazing reputations. But GCRM has better success rates.

Sorry, realise I wasnt clear. Its GCRM we have contacted as GRI never responded to any requests for info etc which does not give me much hope for them!

@TheDaydreamBelievers I keep hearing most clinics are rubbish at the actual admin stuff and making you feel well taken care of lol. It's probably best to just focus on the results!

Im wondering @Juno231 @Kay00 can you recommend any other threads on here for long stayers/fertility investigation stage? I love this group of women but its starting to hurt my heart when people come on here after coming off the pill (appropriately - its what the group was set up for) then immediately get pregnant.

So my apps think I have ovulated due to three high temps! One says 3dpo and one says 2dpo. Will keep an eye now and ensure it does continue to rise and it’s not a fluke

@TheDaydreamBelievers I'm also on the donkey club (aka not immediately fertile one cycle unicorns) - pretty much everyone there is seeking fertility treatments cause they've been at it for so long.

Neither is as busy as ttc bus 46 which is the main one I've been on since Feb last year. There's the occasional new person with a functioning body and some grads that have still stuck around but the vast majority joined well over a year ago and are still trundling along. @TheDaydreamBelievers would you prefer people to not post if they're pregnant? If that would make you feel better I personally wouldn't be offended if you'd rather (when everyone's time comes) they would post on a pregnancy thread rather than this specific one, whatever you're comfortable with ☺️ .. I have no intention of ever posting on here when my BFP time comes because selfishly I don't want to feel like shit posting it, knowing some ladies are struggling because I know it would piss people off and I don't want to feel guilty for not having struggled & I certainly don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.. I can't imagine how you must be feeling, I just know how I would be feeling if I was in your shoes so sending you a big hug ♥️

Not at all @MissM94 - the opposite, it'd be amazing to see when each of you who Ive gotten to know a bit get a BFP! I just feel i also need a club/thread where there are maybe more people who have been trying a while. Sorry, I hope my post didnt seem shady

Also, as I said - its me that needs to move threads as this thread is designed for the ladies who come on here with post pill randomness, many of whom then conceive quickly. You shouldn't feel bad if that happens for you and I hope it does! Its more that I no longer fit that description - my irregularities are clearly not pill related and conception issues are now something more.

I agree with @TheDaydreamBelievers I think its more when some women post as they are 3 days off the pill then fall pregnant 30 seconds later, (I'm just jealous of thier functioning bodies) For those of us who have been around a while it's lovely to see those BFPs

So my birthday celebrations are pretty much over, I think my RHR is telling me no more alcohol 🤣 alcohol doesn't seem to effect my BBT though.

Has anyone ever had ovulation type cramps, you know.. next to hip - fucking agony 😂 and it hasn't been ovulation? Currently got them and a bit of backache, I'm not due to ovulate until Friday so earlier than normal if it is that but just wondering what else it could be, will do an OPK when I get home just after 2 and see what's happening but I did one last night around 6/7pm and it was negative 🤷🏼‍♀️

@ChinChilly I know what you mean, I just wouldn't want anyone to feel like shit so was just thinking what's best for us all haha 😩

@MissM94 I get ovulation cramps. They are normally mild but last cycle it was severe for a few mins and then I bled!

But that's the first time that happened to me and I've been told that can happen.

I tend to get a bit tender leading up to ovulation so your body could be gearing up for it.

@MissM94 I'm pretty sure I have had the odd ovulation cramp. For me they feel like little popping sensations, and the area is a little sore. But I don't get them every time. Plus... i don't necessarily ovulate, so its possible I'm feeling my swollen ovaries try but fail

Also... I love to hear when one of our party goer's gets pregnant !! It really keeps me going.

But I totally get why @TheDaydreamBelievers wants to join a thread with other ladies going through treatment. The fertility treatments are complicated and an emotional rollercoaster, so its good to chat to women going through similar .

@Tillybabs I've definitely heard that bleeding was a thing, I've never experienced it but last cycle and this one the ovulation pain has been intense! I must be dropping a big fat egg 😂😂 just done an OPK and it's not a boxing positive, I've had quite a few wee's though so I'll try again later on a big hold.. don't want that pain to of been for nothing hahaha

@Kay00 aww yours sound bearable! Mine are like full on cramps and a dull ache that's just there constantly, this time it's disappeared after some pain killers but last time it was with me all day!

Yeah, I can imagine it to be a trying time so I understand wanting a boat full of similar people, just don't want to be responsible for ruining someone's day haha
