These men really can’t help themselves, can they Kiwi17?!

The bleeding is only minimal now and I got a negative test this morning, which is strangely reassuring, as hopefully everything has worked through naturally. I’m not sure what we’ll do now, though. This has hit me really hard emotionally. I think before, I could allay my fears a bit by telling myself it was a one off, but now I really am thinking we’ve left it too late. I was really horrible to DH yesterday and kept telling him he was a selfish t*^t for not having listened to me when I told him time was running out a couple of years ago. I also failed the doctors and told him he had to book an appointment to get the ball rolling for a vasectomy, which he did. I suspect he really though I was losing the plot, as he didn’t do any work and basically followed me round the house while I hurled abuse at him. Just to be clear, I am not normally like this, and we have a good relationship, but I just felt like I had lost it, and clearly he thought that too (he’s normal really focused on his work). We are away camping again this weekend, so hopefully a change of scene will help a bit.

Babyghirl · 23/07/2021 14:13

@miscarriage39
Glad things have settled down and you have got a nagitive test, hope you have a good weekend well as much as u can xx

kiwi17 · 23/07/2021 15:42

Oh @Miscarriage39 you're going through such a tough time plus hormones so it's completely understandable that you are feeling that way. I hope the change of scene will help - it is definitely a help for me. I'm glad you've got your negative anyway and hopefully like you say it'll settle back down again and you can work out your way forward.

H0peing · 23/07/2021 20:27

@Miscarriage39 I'm glad that you're not in a lot of pain but sorry that you're going through this. Xx

H0peing · 23/07/2021 20:47

@Miscarriage39 I really hope that your camping weekend is helpful xxxx

H0peing · 23/07/2021 20:58

@PeanuttyButter I think I'm 7dpo and poas today with bfn too! Yes, too early to test really. I even started imagining a faint line but when I took a photo of it and zoomed in there was definitely nothing there🙈xxxx

Babyghirl · 23/07/2021 21:21

@HOpeing
Don't count urself out ur only 7dpo way to early to test lol I'm cd20 today and feel nothing at Al lol but then I don't test until I'm late lol 💚

PeanuttyButter · 23/07/2021 22:38

@babyghirl @H0peing DH doesn't know I've already given in and tested but he's told me I cant test till after he's left on Monday as he's got an important appointment that day and doesn't want to be thinking about this all the while he's there.

H0peing · 23/07/2021 22:41

@Babyghirl Thanks lol xx I called my GP today and spoke to the Receptionist. She read out my results but couldn't interprete them. She said that I'd have to call again at 8am on Monday to speak to a GP. She said:

38.4nmol/L

Confirmed ovulation at the time of test. Progesterone >30 is consistent of ovulation

Not sure what progesterone level is good. Guess I'll find out soon. X

H0peing · 23/07/2021 22:43

@PeanuttyButter I hardly ever tell DH when I test. He really doesn't understand that part of it! I'll only bother telling him if I get a bfp. X

PeanuttyButter · 23/07/2021 22:47

@H0peing I think that he's scared it will be a BFP 😁 don't get me wrong we both really want this, this has been demonstrated further with how devastated we were with the mmc. But we are also both shhhh scared haha

H0peing · 23/07/2021 23:35

@PeanuttyButter I think DH and I will have mixed feelings if I get a bfp. Excitement mixed with fear.

I hope that somehow the next bfp works out for all of us! X

H0peing · 23/07/2021 23:37

@MrsF111 It's definitely looking like a good month for you!SmileXx

Gummybear17 · 24/07/2021 12:42

@Miscarriage39 I couldn't read and not comment . I have been lurking on this group since I had a MC in May . Men really don't get the emotional an physical impact of TTC and Pregnancy/miscarriage has on us and comments I got like 'oh well it want really anything anyway was it?' Are really unhelpful. I am so sorry for your loss please be kind to yourself. I stupidly didn't even take a day off ( after the day I ended up In ED bleeding on my daughters birthday).
I was also frustrated with my OH for not telling me sooner he had wanted another , I had been hinting for 5 years and then he told me when I was 38 and it's been hard . But I am pregnant again now ( and petrified as i am now at the same gestation as when I had my MC) so I am struggling to enjoy anything I just need to know it's all ok so far . I will prob book an early scan next week when I am 7 weeks . I really hope things work out for you, thinking of you x

Babyghirl · 24/07/2021 15:54

@miscarriage39
Omg 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 we can still do it we got this and we will get r rainbow babies
@Gummybear17
Congratulations on your pregnancy hoping this one is your rainbow baby 💚

@Babyghirl thank you . I am so nervous at the moment . Every day I am waiting for the bleeding. It's horrible x

Babyghirl · 24/07/2021 16:34

@Gummybear17
I know the feeling 4 miscarriages and 1 cp and and from I get a bfp I wait on it to start it's awful x

Annny27 · 24/07/2021 19:50

Hello ladies 💕 I have been a bit quiet as we have been on holiday (just in the UK) but nice to be away for a bit!

I am ovulating at the moment (cd13) so a fairly early one for me but I am pleased as really cba to dtd atm feels like such a chore after years of trying!

@sweetbabydust1989 I will also be having a laproscopy - hope yours goes well when it comes around!

@miscarriage39 I am so sorry to hear you have had another loss :( it's so heartbreaking and totally understand your frustration with DP about the whole situation and delay to ttc. But like babyghirl says, you haven't left it too late and women have babies well into their 40s!

@babyghirl are you feeling better after your heat exhaustion? I live in south east england and omg it was MELTING

Thata great your IVF letter came through even if it's just the start of it all :)

@ELM7 I also follow the worst girl gang and they post some relatable stuff!

@kiwi17 how was dtd in the heat? Awful 😂😂

@27donfin sending love to you too :)

kiwi17 · 24/07/2021 20:24

@Annny27 hahaha it was very sweaty!! Bit more chilled in one way though as I didn't use opks as I've run out and refuse to buy anymore so don't even know when I ovulated! Haha now we're staying at my parents so it's put paid to dtd which gives an excuse to stop for this month 😂

Babyghirl · 24/07/2021 20:45

@Annny27
Heat is unreal I love it when away but nt at home in work lol, but 11 day in work done and 2 to go then off for a day lol, the letter says I will be offered a dated in 3 to 4 months so hoping things happen on there own before then lol 💚

PeanuttyButter · 25/07/2021 21:10

Well guys I'm CD23 of a usual 24 day cycle and I think AF is here or will be here properly in the morning. I had convinced myself that I could be pregnant as we dtd on the right days and I had cramping and spotting 5 days ago which stopped (same as when I got my bfp) and I must have been wrong. Didn't expect it last month as it would have been my first period since, but kinda hoped I was super fertile and it would happen this month. Oh well. Good luck to all those testing soon and in the tww xx

Babyghirl · 26/07/2021 12:29

@PeanuttyButter
Sorry the witch got you, I can feel mine in the bck ground to I say prop be here today sometime I'm cd23 but did feel ovulation pain around cd8 so would be about right xx

Miscarriage39 · 26/07/2021 16:29

Sorry it’s not you month PeanuttyButter.

Thanks Annny27. I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

I hope everything is still going well for you
Gummybear17. Did you book a scan.

Camping was more stressful that I had hoped. We are now home and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. DH has asked if I want to pay for fertility screening or counselling.

H0peing · 26/07/2021 17:45

@Miscarriage39 so sorry to hear that camping didn't go well. How do you feel about fertility tests and counselling? I would probably have paid for both if we could afford it as I've definitely had some very dark days and there's always the hope that tests may find a problem that can be fixed. I had most fertility tests done through the NHS due to having 3 miscarriages but some tests are only available privately so we didn't do those.

@PeanuttyButter @babyghirl I guess you're not fully out yet! Hoping that you'll get Summer bfp's! Xx

kiwi17 · 26/07/2021 17:46

@PeanuttyButter I'm not sure I believe the super fertile hype to be honest - I think they just tell people that to comfort them after a mc... sorry it's not your month :( @Miscarriage39 argh noo sorry it was a stressful time - I've just had a 24h standoff with my dh (although about the randomest thing) so I have sympathy. Was that a throw away comment from him or is he serious?!
