Wow that last one was a quick one! The bus driver nearly missed the bus!🏎🚌

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

Gah so it sounds like I might not get my contract until Friday?? So even if I resign the same day my start date would be 4th Oct. Sooooo far away. I'll try and cut my notice period short but odds are slim I think for them to approve it!

So anyone who's had the first initial bloods for fertility, what results, number and over do I need ideally?? Just picked up my swab and blood form and it says they're testing androgens, prolactin, full blood count, testosterone, LH and FSH, and thyroid, this is all so new to me, I'm clueless!

I dont even remember the first album I bought, I do remember owning Kylie Minogue and Right Said Fred records (yea showing my age) but I don't think they were my first I'm sure I had a few before them. Then progressed to all the Now albums on cassettes then CDs. I do remember my first CD tho. It wasn't through choice it was all I could afford after buying the CD player and I needed to buy a CD to check it worked and they were on offer to about £2 which was all the change I had left, it was the CD made by the kids in dunblane after the massacre "Throw them guns away' - cheery 1st CD! 🙈 (the song still makes me teary if I hear it all these years later).

I wasn't going to watch it but I succumbed to Love Island this morning, after I'd done my walk and some weeding in the garden so needed a no brianer to veg for an hour to. Now I'm annoyed with myself as it's shit but I've committed so I'm going to have to watch the rest 😂

What a headfuck @Vil10 have you any FRER to check with? I like ICs for the price and being able to POAS guilt free but I never take the result as true until its backed up with a FR or absolutely blazing positive after they said my tap water was pregnant once with a faint line with colour and within the time frame 😂 so now I take them with a pinch of salt unless confirmed with a FR. Your other signs tho are seeming so hopeful, maybe you're a SMU or evening pee kind of gal before getting a bfp 🤷‍♀️ Really still hoping for you 🤞 Get a FR and put your mind at rest one way or another.

@InkyPaper my 1st appointment was over the phone due to covid and lasted about 15mins, it was just going over your medical history of both you and your partner, bmi, smoking, alcohol, sex frequency, etc. I posted a photo a while back of the questionnaire they sent out prior to the call and it was basically just going thru the info on that, I'll see if I can find it again.

The questions on the form were the main things discussed at the 1st appointment

@Vil10 ah ok, so cruel. Re bloods, they'll give you the parameters when you get the results. The only one I can remember is day 21 progesterone needs to be over 30 to show that ov occurred. Good luck! Oh and fsh should be low, rather than high. Most other things you want high from memory.

@Vil10 my GP didn't say what was good or bad for those results either, I just got told what was normal and what wasn't.

Also just had another letter through from the endocrinology department saying that my last remaining blood tests were normal and that I don't have any biochemical markers for PCOS, so I don't have that (despite having almost all the clinical symptoms, so God only knows what's actually going on with me).

Omgggg what a mad day so far today. Travel agents are so busy but keep asking about the covid test protocols on islands which we can't advise on and the tourist board websites are awful... Stressing me out man xx

@vil10 make sure you ask for the actual results and not just "it's fine" - the doc will show all the parameters for what's normal and what's not. FSH should be below 7 for you, TSH below 2.5, Prolactin below 500ish.

If you have the nhs app you'll get all the results and parameters on there before you even get to see them for the follow up appointment!

I don't remember my first tape but I remember taping songs off the radio and trying to stop it before adverts 🤣🤣 ... Though I got a mcfly tape last year and had to buy a tape player 🤣 didn't think they would still make em!!

I've spent the day from hell in the fracture clinic. Honestly. Then the fertility people tried to call (only luck i knew it was them) but they left no message. I tried 5 times this afternoon to call them back. And there's an appointment i can have tomorrow for a scan! No idea if they were going to bother calling me again? 🙄

@Minster2012 yes scan 1 tomorrow (cd4) but they are starting drugs the day after, because of how quick it all happened last time.
@Juno231 over 3 hours i was there. All that happened was 1 xray. Then I waited forever, saw a nurse who took my bandage off, she went to fetch a dr- they looked at it, looked at xray, said fine. Come back in 4 weeks. Literally took minutes. Turns out I had dissolvable stitches in. 3 bloody hours! Assume in 4 weeks they re xray and then discharge to physio.

Oh I'm having the lightest AF ever this month? Usually I leak out of super tampons after about 5 hours day 1.5-3. Then it becomes lighter and not much after day 4. I'm only day 3 and there's hardly anything. Yesterday my tampons were not even half full after being in line than usual? 🤷‍♀️
