Wow that last one was a quick one! The bus driver nearly missed the bus!🏎🚌

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

@becarefuloutthere oh you poor thing, first trimester tiredness can be crippling! How many weeks are you now? Feels like ages since your bfp but maybe not! Time moves funny on these buses, sometimes loads happens all at once and other times it's tumbleweed 😂

@bez91 ha well we were hoping for 3 of 5 this week but the third person didn't get the offer in the end. Soon enough though! I hope that makes people realise it's not a coincidence...

@vil10 that's odd, they def shouldn't be testing all the other stuff on day 21! They kept doing those tests the wrong way around for @paintfairy so make sure they don't mess you about as well.

@bez91 it was just thinking about the adult soft play party that brought on the 2nd line 😂 I can totally understand you not wanting to think about it just now so just you plod along doing your own thing dont think about it and we'll do all the thinking and finger crossing in the background on your behalf. 🤞

@Somatronic ttc is an emotionally draining headfuck of a journey, thats why we invented seats on the roof of the bus. You don't need to think about ttc just come along for the ride let the wind blow through your hair and any snacks or drinks you want passed up will be with you in no time. When you're ready to ttc again there'll always be a seat and a hand hold at the ready.

@Kirky658 big hugs. Just be wary if you take sick leave to check what your contract says. If you're off sick with any pregnancy related symptoms within 4 weeks of your mat leave in our place it automatically triggers early mat leave. If the workload is effecting your stress levels and pregnancy tho you're within your rights to speak to them about 'reasonable adjustments' that need to be made tho of course that phrase is open to interpretation in different ways so go in prepared with your ideas and ask for an updated risk assessment. You're nearly at the finish line, you can do this.

@Katiekattty I have a huge fibroid too that I only realised when pregnant with DS and explained the really heavy periods. After I had DS tho my periods are definitely nowhere near as heavy or as long tho the fibroid still remains. Just thought I'd give you some hope that your periods may lighten afterwards 😊 if not definitely get some tranexamic acid if you didn't have it before, it was a total game changer for heavy periods and made them far more manageable.

@Manifestingbaby just as well you chased up the fertility clinic! Sucks about how long the wait is tho.

Lost 3lbs this week so slowly clawing back the damage from my pity party face stuffing the other week 🙈 However its my birthday this weekend and we've booked a caravan by the seaside for tomorrow - Sunday and I fully intend to drink and have birthday cake so sure those lbs won't be slow in jumping back on......ah well will try again the following week, its only your birthday once a year 🥂

I have an aibu: a customer at work asked me in conversation if I knew who Banksy is, I thought it offensive, surely it's hardly niche art, bossboy says artsy people are snobby and assume everybody knows art in detail just cos you're interested, I like my art, but is Banksy really not popular culture, disclaimer: he tries his hardest to piss me off, but perhaps I shouldn't presume

Sorry for the suspense girls but I'm afraid it isn't news waiting for! BFN, however how much of a piss take is this, dipped the frer in the pot of piss I collected this morning, went for a wee whilst it developed, wiped and was spotting, so wasted an frer for sweet fuck all😂 I feel okay about it, I kinda knew anyway and I'm just glad covid hasn't delayed my period for too long! I ordered opks so I'll start them on like CD12 ish so I can try and gage when's best for me to book these bloods! Thankyou all so so much for the support, you're an amazing bunch and I couldn't think of better people to be on this journey with❤️

@dkdk123 yes I read that they can force me to take early mat leave it is within 4 weeks of the due date but luckily that's after I have finished work. Plan to speak to my boss next week and hope she is reasonable!

Hope your boss is reasonable @Kirky658. If you go in showing you're willing to compromise with them eg I don't feel I can do xyz at the moment but I can definitely take on abc until my mat leave starts then surely any reasonable boss (tho I realise there are plenty of unreasonable ones out there like many of our poor ladies are having to put up with) would prefer that to just losing you completely if you take early mat leave or off sick.

Just coming to the end of AF this morn, everything tapering off to just spotting then all of a sudden this afternoon I felt like I had major PMT like at the start of AF, wanted to eat all the chocolate in sight (bye bye weight loss), majorly snapping at poor DS, feeling generally miserable and bloaty then all of a sudden AF went from barely nothing to mega heavy again out of nowhere! WTF it actually feels like the start of a new AF where's the justice in that!? At least now it explains the moodiness and chocolate craving this afternoon it's obviously been a hormonal fuck up somewhere in my system and once AF came heavy it was like my mood just lifted again and I felt fine. Our bodies really are mind fucks that dance to their own tune and don't follow the rules!

@Vil10 my ovulation (and therefore AF) was 10 days late after the Covid jab and the next cycle was 13 days late - mega frustrating!!

So ladies after getting my BFP a couple of weeks ago (5th time in my life, 3rd on this bus, but still no baby) I've been very quiet. I should be 6+4 today based on ovulation and we went for an early scan on the weekend at 5+6 just hoping to see something (as last time I had an empty sac at 8 weeks and the shock was immense). However it was inconclusive, not great news, they could only see a tiny sac with maaaybe the beginnings of a yolk sac which put me back at more like 5 weeks, but I don't know how that is possible as I was tracking ovulation and it was clear with the OPKs and BBT 😩 how could I be 6 days off with my dates!! Sooo we have a scan at the EPU this Saturday which is in theory 6+6 and should def see a heartbeat if all is well. And if not, then might be back to the drawing board AGAIN for me😩 I'm clinging onto it maybe being a late implanter as I didn't get a whiff of a line until 12dpo so maybe that has an impact on things. But feeling pretty down about it all to be honest. Also taking twice daily progesterone pessaries which I'm worried could be masking a miscarriage, I've had no bleeding or cramping so positive signs but that's the same as last time.

Sorry for the essay just I know you ladies understand the traumatic journey that is trying for a baby whether that is through desperately waiting for that elusive BFP or getting it and then losing it.

Anyway, 2 more episodes of love island to go before my scan!

Also we are getting a puppy!

Friend of mine told me she was pregnant today. Her daughter was an hard fought IVF baby but baby no 2 is a complete surprise! Just thought it was a good story for us all!
