Hey! I'm also in my TWW and 3 DPO :-) Fingers crossed it works out for us thus month! I decided to try two new things thing month baby aspirin and the fertilily. Even though its too early for any symptoms I'm already hyer vigilient! How you feeling?

Maplefield · 24/06/2021 20:25

Hi! I'm cycle 2 5DPO today. Getting dull cramps but always happens before AF anyway so no telling symptoms 🤷🏻‍♀️ baby dust to you both!

lol2015 · 24/06/2021 20:32

I keep trying to tell myself it's to early to feel anything but super tired and more trips to the loo so far about every 20 mins!! Lol

I have pcos so I'm not holding out much hope to be honest, I was thinking about the aspirin, how much do you take?
We did home iui this month to see if that helped aswell.

How are you feeling xx

I'm only month 5 TTC and 4dpo. Hate the two week wait! I always write off any chance within a couple of days - maybe pessimistic but I feel like it softens the blow when AF arrives. Had sore boobs ever since ovulation but that's very standard for me, every month they're SO sore until a couple of days into AF.

Lalala1985 · 24/06/2021 21:21

5 DPO for me and 5th cycle. Hate the TWW, feel like my life is on hold.

I know what you mean I'm turning every unusual feeling into a potential pregnancy symptom and going straight on to Google! Fingers crossed for you pcos doesn't mean you can't get pregnant, let me know how you go this month we can moan together!

Im taking 75mg of aspirin, I think up to 150mg is considered a baby dose, thought why not, I hear its often recommended for women who have had miscarriages, I had one last February.

Never heard of a home iui just googled it interesting.. May need to consider this!!

I'm feeling hopeful but my experience over the last year is it starts fading away after day 21 as I expect myself to feel something around then. I completely understand why you don't hold out much hope as it's a way of protecting our feelings, this is the biggest roller-coaster of emotions I've been on in my life

I hate the TWW too!! I get that you write it off quickly as we have to protect our feelings somehow right, juggling all this unknown and uncertainty is exhausting. I hope one day we're both very pleasantly surprised. Nature is so cruel overlapping pregnancy and pms symptoms, my boobs hurt so much before my miscarriage last year and now one year on they're sore before my period and that's a new thing. Hope you get good news this month ❤️

Ahh so google became my enemy in the night!
Hardly slept and everything feeling I had was like oooo is that a sign!! Ugh why is this so hard, we've been trying for 6 years so I should be used to it but it gets me every time.

I might get some aspirin then, we've had 2 mc so definitely want to try and avoid that again. Is it any kind?

I was trying to think of something to occupy myself for the next 2 weeks but I'm rubbish at finding a hobby other than google 😂

How do you all keep your minds busy??
Xx

@lol2015 6 years! How have you not lost the plot?! Have you had any tests done?

Honestly I have no control over my thoughts most of the time. It's been quiet at work so I'm sat on here, my period app and Dr Google majority of the day 😂 it's much better when work is busy!

I'm already pretty certain I won't get a positive this month, I've got my standard PMS stuff starting already 😔

Trust me, I've had many break downs lol.

Because of my Pcos I don't have regular bleeds unless I induce them each month. Don't think I've had a natural period in about 10 years!!
Doctors have put it down to the extra testosterone in my system and the cysts on my ovaries. All the doctors is advise is to lose weight and that all I need to do. Easier said than done!! I've tried all diets and nothing budges the weight. My next one is just to stop eating full stop lol.

I'm signed off at the moment so I haven't even got anything to distract me lol xx

Google is such an enemy, all it does is make me over think even more 😜 I had a headache earlier today and feel like I'm experiencing mood swings and what does Google tell me? Symptoms of implantation. Or I'm just tired and having a bad day 😂 im sorry to hear you've been on this roller-coaster for 6 years and experienced too losses sending you a virtual hug. The way I think about it when it happens you will be so much stronger and more resilient as a person compared to had it happened right away ❤️ the aspirin brand I use is by Galpharm I got it in a big tescos, but you can just get any that are 75mg (not much choice as most are 150mg or more). Its worth a try right! Ahhh you know what even though I'm working full time it still takes over my mind! I find going on walks with music in helps, or binging on a series on netflix! Can I just ask why the NHS haven't offered you ivf given you've been trying for so long? You really deserve an end to all this by now!!

Hi! 1DPO here and already losing the plot Confused TTC DC2...technically our first cycle as my DP decided on CD21 we should start trying Grin

lol2015 · 25/06/2021 14:36

Ah cool I'm going Tesco's and home bargains later so I'll have a look.

Thank you it's definitely been a journey!
They won't offer anything to help with ovulation atm because all they keep telling me to do is lose weight. We don't qualify for ivf either as my husband has 2 children from a previous marriage. In our area if you or your partner has children you don't qualify :(

I'm cuddled up with the dog atm trying to get the energy to do some housework to stop googling lol.
Isn't it awful every twinge pain and feeling I'm like oooo is that it! Our bodies definitely put us through it lol xx

@lol2015 I'm really shocked for you! Have they given you Metformin? I'm really surprised that their response is lose weight, as PCOS makes not really difficult to lose it. But at the same time nothing drs suggest really surprises me anymore, I have some really stupid excuses from drs when my periods stopped for 3 years, it took quite a few drs before one took me seriously. And it was actually when I told him I was finding it really hard to avoid gaining weight that he tested me for PCOS, it wasn't that, but another hormonal issue but he was the first one to actually consider that an illness I had was actually hormonal when I didn't have a period for 3 years.

Hello :)

Yeah they've given me metformin but it made me so poorly. I stuck it out for 5 months but it made no difference to any of my blood work or periods.
I don't think doctors really understand unless they are in that situation!
There diagnosis for everything is lose weight it will get better. I have tried so many different diets, exercise plans and nothing shifts it. I've been on the weight loss referral at our local hospital for 5 months, still not yet to have any contact.
In all honestly I'm signed off atm because everything just got to much to cope with. I keep trying to tell myself it's ok not to be ok all the time but it's hard. X

Morning! Hope you're OK.. I thought it was way too early to test right now, we are on the same day and from what I know the egg implants day 6-12, if that hasn't taken place there's no chance a test can pick up HCG. So don't check yourself out or test too early or it'll drive you round the bend :-) I'm really guna try hard to hold out til my period is due on 7th July but I may test early on 3rd July..
SBeeches · 26/06/2021 10:58

Lol2015 this sounds very stressful and quite unfair :-( I totally agree doctors don't know everything, people often think they do but they tend to only know particular things well, like GPs often don't know much about fertility and have to look up references - unless they have a special interest in it why should they know they know. I would definitely expect a fertility doc to know though but you don't always get great ones either I hear. Sorry to hear you're feeling stuck right now. What you got planned today to take your mind off it?

Morning :)

Talked myself round that it's definitely to early. Made hubby hide the tests until 4th July! Smile

We've just a bit of shopping in home bargains now going up to see my sister in law and niece

I found the aspirin so going to start that too

Do you have any plans for today x

Trust me we're on the same boat it's most definitely too early 😊 I have one early clear blue test at home which you can only use 5 days before your period is due, it's a pricey test to get addicted to so I'm restraining myself 😂 good luck with the aspirin, I started taking it the day after ovulation. My husband and I are cooking up a storm for our lovely neighbours tonight, they will no doubt bring over lots of wine so I bought alcohol free prosecco in advance to reduce temptation. Its the only social event I have planned before I can test early, I've learnt not to schedule many in in the two week window otherwise I'll cave and drink. I think I've done well so far only drank two days in June, one of which was my birthday :-)

Of course you can join! I'm so sorry to hear about your losses and wishing you good news this month. If it wasn't for early pregnancy tests would you have known about the chemical pregnancies? I feel early tests are such a curse in so many ways..

How are we all feeling today? I'm feeling quite irritable which is a classic pms symptom 😩 but seems a little early for it.. I read that around this time estrogen drops whether you're pregnant or not and that does bring on mood swings - nature is cruel you can't figure anything out 😂
