Hey ladies, hope it’s okay for me to join. I’m 26 and in month 2 of TTC after a chemical in month 1 unfortunately.
9-10 DPO and after testing two days before AF and my chemical pregnancy last month I’m really nervous to test early this month but bloody hell the wait is killing me!!! Me and my partner have said we’d wait until after AF is due but that’s another 9-10 days. Luckily we’re off to Cornwall on holiday on Saturday so that’s a distraction but seriously spend most my time looking through all these threads 🤦🏼‍♀️.
What do you think, should I cave or stay strong and wait it out?

Oooh Cornwall sounds like a dream, I was in Bude not too long ago! From reading endless threads on here on early testing I think it has the potential to drive you mad and become toxic because if its negative you feel sad but then wonder whether you tested too early, then begins the chain testing and each time is a blow. Not guna lie I use clear blue early detection most months but only test 5 days before my period at the earliest.. I know digital tests are not as sensitive but I don't want to buy my first FRER. Wait it out with me we can do it, Im just behind you at 7DPO :-)
jenxpenx · 29/06/2021 22:53

@SBeeches ooo lovely area, bet it was fab. We're going near Penzance so right near the tip lands end. So excited to get away and not constantly think about TTC. Honestly I'm driving myself a bit wild.
Yes you're so right it really does breed negatively doesn't it. I've seen people on threads where their cycles are so much shorter and I'm so jealous 🤣 I actually thought I had quite a short cycle (26-27days), but I've seen people say they were 10 DPO & AF flow due this Friday 😳! Mines due 8th of July.
We've got such a long wait, it's killing me! 🙈🙈🙈

jenxpenx · 29/06/2021 22:56

@SBeeches also note on tests, I did about probably 15 in three days before I had my chemical pregnancy last month. Clear blue digital showed up 1-2 weeks pregnant two days before AF, and yeah the first response ones were the clearest in terms of lines. Also the cheapo Superdrug ones too surprisingly!

Hope33 · 30/06/2021 06:37

Hey ladies,
Mind if I join? Doing the 2WW its painful.
I’m 9 days off AF. Have quiet abit of CM

Lebe14 · 30/06/2021 07:51

Hey! Finally 9DPO today so thought I'd test with a FRER with FMU. Stark white BFN. AF is due around Saturday, according to my app and usual LP. Will test again on Friday at 11DPO or just wait until Saturday and see what happens x

Don't count yourself out just yet I've read plenty of experiences of people getting negatives followed BFP later than this. Someone posted this which I found really interesting - if it only implants 8-9DPO then it takes a bit longer for HCG to build up enough to be picked up by a urine test..

That wasn't a clear pic, hopefully this is better

Hope you have a lovely time :-) my AF is due on 7th July so we'll be going through the same motions! I've decided I'm going to do a clear blue early detection test this Saturday as I'm meeting friends in Central London and another friend is staying over with us this weekend - want to know whether or not I can have a few drinks with them. Saturday will be 5 days before my period. I'm losing hope to be honest, my resting heart rate on the fitbit app hasn't changed much and Im feeling the classic pre period symptoms (deep sleep, heavy head, sore boobs). Have you decided what you're going to do?

I was so tempted to buy more tests but then thought I'd be in the same situation trying to analyse lines. Just guna stick with the clear blue early test on Saturday luckily I only have one. I'm losing hope because I have all my classic pms symptoms :-( feeling sad because I felt we really tried hard this month but maybe trying hard isn't the problem, just glad to have my hycosy booked in July. Hope your faint lines turn in to a BFP keep us posted x
jenxpenx · 30/06/2021 13:15

@SBeeches @lol2015 ahh ladies
I caved 🙈 so weak!!!
Faint line, does actually look more in person. Problem is I think I'm gonna keep it in and not tell my partner until we text hopefully after AF is late. I think it will be added pressure if I do, fingers crossed this one sticks.
Or is that terrible to keep it in?!

Congrats on your line lovely!!! I hope it gets darker for you 😍 I don't blame you for caving it's too tempting!! Only thing stopping me is the fact Id have to buy the tests! I get why you may want to keep it in and its entirely your decision until you're certain, men are often spared the rollercoasters we go through

SBeeches · 30/06/2021 14:34

Yes we're trying for our first baby, I had a miscarriage at 7.5 weeks last year at 31 years old. Now I'm 33 with a grand plan to have two babies before 35 - not going well so far!!

How's everyone feeling? I have full blown PMS now - really sore boobs and cramps (happens every month) and AF due on Tuesday. Well and truly out of the hope phase for this month and pretty gutted and emotional. This is SO hard! Now onto 6 months TTC and officially fed up.

Aww I know, I'm only 4 months/5 cycles in and starting to get fed up of it. Yet another friend has announced their pregnancy today. I think AF may show up tomorrow for me as my temp dropped this morning and im getting that feeling. Despite that I used a cheap Boots test I had lying around and I'm still seeing faint lines. I think my eyes have just gotten really good at seeing indents.

I'm really starting to worry about my age (35) and my weight being a factor. Im losing weight at the mo but it's slow, and I don't want to lose too fast as that's what got me my hormonal problems that led me to gain loads of weight in the first place.
Thinking of purchasing a mail-order AMH test to get an idea of how much time I have. Has anyone used one of those?
