@clolo ooh great news on all those follicles! Sounds like you’ll have plenty even if some get too big! I’ve no idea what too big is either, but I think they grow a bit extra with the trigger too so hopefully you’ll be good to go by Saturday!!

@Sjhigs yep 8am for me which I must admit I love, hate waiting around! Anyone know what sort of time EC gets scheduled, like might you have to trigger at a silly time in the night? I’m not sleeping as it is x

@polejunkie mine too 🙈 I love it as well up and at it and not wondering all day they told me egg collection is early bells and yes if they say trigger at 12pm I've to set an alarm so I think it'll be late I'm only a little bloated today hope they're still expanding 🙈 x

Yeah like @Sjhigs said, the cost of access packages I’m looking at are 10-20k for 2 or 3 rounds. Not including meds.

ABC are cheaper, but I’m too old for them lol

@Sjhigs can I ask how come you ended up going the private route? I’m doing it because the nhs won’t help, but I like that I can choose where I go etc I suppose. Good luck with the 🥚 tomorrow!

@thislittlebird I'm across the water and the full wait time here is around 3years I'm 37 and still had until the end of next year too go it's just too long to wait being older I don't have the time on my side x

@Sjhigs yeah I get it. Are you at a clinic over there too? I started this process last July age 37 (been trying since 36) and I’m now 38. There really is no time left to wait, we’d have to wait another year or more too because they want 3 years of trying (if unexplained, we aren’t unexplained but they have yet to acknowledge that so 🤷‍♀️).

Now I’m just twiddling my thumbs (and grinding my teeth) waiting to start. Everything is so slow, it’s painful. I’ve been hit by more delays due to slow test results and a holidaying urologist. Hurry up July, I need a plan of action.

Fingers crossed this rubella thing doesn’t delay me too much.

I think everyone has a purpose in life I just tell myself it's not my babas time yet the world works in shitty ways sometimes but what's meant to be will be you're on the right track when it's starts it's so quick and takes over so enjoy your little bit of time you have now stress free before the worrying starts cause its frigging constant 😂 oh and the vino 😍😍😍😍 I would love nothing more than a big bottle of wine right now actually considering shloer it's that bad 🙈🙈 x

@Sjhigs great that you like them! Mine is good so far, but the COMET test has to be sent off to Belfast or something so seems to take a while to come back. Now we’re waiting for the independent urologist to get back from wherever he’s sunning himself so we can show the results to the ivf doctor.

Haha, I would sacrifice the vino and the gin right now lol. I worry so much as is, I might need medication for the next stage . My friend tries to help and she’s like there’s more to life than kids. But I look around and all my friends with good extended families also managed to have kids. I have an awful, awful family and it makes me sad I can’t start my own with my husband. It’s frustrating.

I’m supposed to be losing weight for our holiday in July but I’ve been derailed the last few days. It’s so hard to focus.

@thislittlebird it'll all come when the time is right ❤️ hopefully your results get back sharpish we had one done our clinic is the only one over here to do it it's maybe through them think it's 2-3weeks but I think you're best getting it
