@PurpleCat88 I think you’re pretty close. Mine goes up from about there to a peak very quickly. I was 0.23 on CD15 and 1.67 on CD16. Exciting!!!

@GingerTea333 was about 30 yesterday got a bit of colour but massive storm last night and it's still peeing it down here! Quite nice though - I'm boiling!

I was okay, but I’ve just been stuck behind a bus that kept stopping at the most inconvenient times, which has both mildly frustrated and inconvenienced me 😂

@PurpleCat88 @GingerTea333 I'm finding your information on OPKs really interesting. This was only my second month of doing it.

I have a very regular cycle of 27 days and I've had a 'peak' both months on CD 13.. but those peaks were only 0.8 last month and 0.49 this month. I didn't know it was possible to go up past 1!

Towards the end of my cycle it crept up again slightly (well last month it did - I don't know about this month yet as I'm only 5DPO) but didn't reach as high as it did on CD 13.

Even though they were still low-ish numbers I was pretty sure CD13 was showing the positive ovulation, as before both peaks I had EWCM the day before 🤔

How is everyone today? I am currently around 5/6DPO and weirdly woke up in the night with pins and needles in my hand (probably from sleeping funny) feeling quite dizzy and thirsty but needing a wee haha so unlike me as I usually sleep through! Quite tired today, nearly went for a lie down on the sofa bed in my home working room but then the bane of teams flashed with a call in 15 🤣
Not sure if these are symptoms or just life haha trying not to read too much into it x

Forgot to add it was really hot and muggy last night so could have been from that as my OH woke too

@Peachycream when I went to the loo about 8pm lastnight it seemed to have stopped and nothing this morning.. the dull cramps have seemed to stop now also which is good .. didnt feel good at all yesterday .. but today had some questionable bowel movements (so TMI).. IS AF due on Saturday? Guess you can only wait and see right.. apparently on 25% of woman get implantation spotting some woman don't knotice anything at all! ❤

@Sparklingwine1 I’m not sure if the number it assigns to the OPKs are super important or just our bodies varying? I got a peak last cycle of 1.26 and the cycle before that my peak was 0.84. I guess it depends which wee you’re testing as you can’t test everytime you go to the loo 😂 I tend to test once a day at the beginning of my cycle then to twice a day. Today I’ll probably test 3 times 🤣.

@Sparklingwine1 do you test every day using OPK’s? I only ask as my cycle was 25 days previously, but last month I peaked on CD19. Could you be ovulating later and not realising? Or so you think those levels are standard for you? Just curious! X

Sounds like a good sign @Dannii892 especially as the spotting/cramping has stopped!

@HRP1990 do you think so.. ive not had a good tummy this morning though - I thought constipation was a key thingy lol .. I just won't believe until I see a bfp lol.. going to test sat - feels ages away! ❤

Hi everyone! Hope it's OK if I join in.

I'm 33, and on CD9 of my 5th cycle ttc#1. This is the last cycle we can try in 2021 to avoid clashing with our (twice-postponed) wedding reception next summer. So fingers crossed!

I'm taking folic acid and vitamin d. This will be my second cycle using easy@home opks with the premom app, which I've found really helpful! I used one step and clear blue strips for the first couple of months but the app has been so much clearer.

New this month: I've got 3 tiny tubes of conceive plus (the kind that you put straight in..) - haven't tried it yet and not sure I'll actually be brave enough, but we'll see!

@Sparklingwine1 @PurpleCat88 I agree I think your body can be different across cycles and also some people have higher/lower lh levels than others and it doesn’t necessarily mean anything. I read somewhere that you can have a positive OPK with any number above 0.5

@Peachycream I think we need a graph! 😂 have you had two surges then?

I've found this month my OPKs have given a longer LH window than normal months, I'm wondering if it's because it's hot and I'm not drinking more to compensate?

@CTMcG oh I hope they work for you, got everything crossed! I do think the ovulation support seems to be making a difference although I guess the proof will be in whether I ovulate early!

@PurpleCat88 seems like your peak is just round the corner, will you do another opk at some point today? See if it’s gone up more?

Thank you such much for such a warm welcome! I’m glad to have people that I can actually talk about this with (my husband has banned me from mentioning cervical mucus again!

@HRP1990 I live in the UAE so it’s really hard to get anything conception related over here (I’m not sure why, there are about 50 different types of lube and condoms in most chemists, so it’s definitely not to do with being conservative!)

@Peachycream The buying in bulk is definitely getting out of hand. My husband was very confused when 20 pregnancy tests turned up because ‘I thought we were only having 1 baby’. Luckily he knows how much I like to plan things so it wasn’t a massive surprise (he does laugh at my notebook of TTC data though!)

@CTMcG You’re so right, I can’t believe how expensive this is (in fairness I probably didn’t need to buy all the kit in month 1).

@PurpleCat88. Those OPKs look great. Looks like you’re nearly at your peak!

@Aries491. I’m at day 6 too and it’s so hard not to symptom spot. I know that there’s almost no chance that anything I feel at the moment is actually related to HCG but I still keep wondering if I’m hot/thirsty/tired/grumpy because I’m pregnant (then I have a little panic that I’m not sure I feel any different to normal and so I must not be pregnant 🤦🏻).

@Dannii892 an upset stomach can also be a sign of pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏽

Did anyone else find the first month of TTC really emotionally draining/felt that it wasn’t really happening. I think I spent so long being convinced by PSHE lessons at school that if a sperm got within 500m of me at any time then I would immediately become pregnant, that it’s actually been quite hard to adjust to the thought that I might actually have to try to become pregnant (this should not have come as a surprise- I’m a nurse/midwife with a Masters in sexual health 😂)

Also, has anyone else noticed that conceive plus lube smells exactly like those jelly aliens that you used to get in the 90s (the ones where there was always a rumour that if you rubbed them together they’d have a baby 😂). It was very off-putting when I realised this!

Another very negative opk which is totally expected at CD 10 just boring hahaha. Wish it was like the sims and you could hit fast forward for a couple of days 😂 is that awful to say 😂😂
