Hi ladies!!

Will need to catch up with the thread later but just a wee update... i am cd64 and i just got a peak opk this morning, followed by ewcm and ovary pain and i am so happy you would actually think i got a bfp😂😂 at this rate i dont even care if i dont get a bfp in 2 weeks, just having an idea that af is due around 2 weeks time makes me so happy after my first cycle being over 2 months!!

Will keep temping and opking next few days to confirm ovulation but think all the signs today is promising!!

Oh blimey @CTMcG that is long cycle! Great news though!!

@Peachycream I absolutely 100000% get how you feel and I totally agree with @Sparklingwine1’s post. I’m only in cycle 1 and I already hate my body because I feel like nothing is happening and I’m not going to ovulate ever again. It’s literally cd 17 and I’m obsessed, it doesn’t feel healthy. I’m really hoping that the next few cycles it gets easier. I think if my cycles were regular I’d be tempted to just give it a try more casually and have sex and see what happens. Give yourself time and be kind for yourself 💕

@CTMcG mate I relate to your post and your achievement soooo much!!! That’s absolutely amazing!! If I get a positive opk I swear I will try, I feel like it’ll just never happen atm!

@SkeletonSkins I’m only on Cycle 2 but everything you just explained was me last cycle. I was obsessed it wasn’t healthy 😂 I am much more chilled now I know all the answers to my previous questions and know what to expect this time.

@KayL1988 how are you feeling after your BFP yesterday? Would you mind if I looked at your BBT chart? I’ve been temping for about a week now and I’d love to see what a pregnancy chart looks like!

Thanks girls!! Opk this morning wasnt as high but still classed as high so im hoping thats a good sign that it actually was a peak! Temp has stayed same as yesterday though! Have dtd everyday since tues this week and will do so rest of week! 😂

@CTMcGv - getting a positive OPK is definitely exciting! Are you using Premom? It should mark your highest OPK as the peak once your subsequent ones go back down a bit.

Not much to report from me. 7DPO today and Premom has now drawn the cover line (I think that’s the right word?) on my chart to confirm ovulation - phew! I also had a really weird vivid dream last night. No other symptoms apart from that!

Not sure how representative of the norm mine is.. I have a shorter cycle my longest cycle length is 27 days (but ranges from 25 to 27).

I missed a day PO because I was awake a lot with weird dreams, and haven't been religious at exact times since ovulation because I've been waking up early anyway.
I panicked a bit at 5DPO because I had a dip but a quick google said it might be a secondary estrogen surge and your bedroom could just be colder.

(Oh should also say on some early days I wasn't sleeping well because of the heat so think that's why temp was higher, but still put those in for science 😂)

Thanks @KayL1988! Tbh I don’t really know what normal is but I know you get an ovulation dip and a higher temp when pregnant. Are you going to carry on temping?

It’s crazy how our body works, I find it so interesting! Mine is quite steady at the moment, hoping for a dip next week to confirm ovulation 🤞

I'm on CD34 (Longest ever!), flo predicted period on CD30 (my usual average) so late according to them but fitbit predicting tomorrow so 🤷‍♀️ lol! I wasn't sure of my LP I thought it may be short based on my O date but now I'm not so sure.

BFN on Wednesday but based on static on cd20 and assuming O either cd21 or 22 then I could have only been 9 or 10dpo so maybe early or not pregnant this cycle. Going to see if she arrives tomorrow and if not will brave another test.

I think I'm at 8DPO so trying to hold off testing for a couple of days yet

@CTMcG I think peak indicates you’ll ovulate 24-48 hours later so you’ll possibly see a temp rise tomorrow or Sunday perhaps?

I’m cd18, nothing happening, feeling a bit fed up if I’m honest.

Spotting today 🥺 even though I know I didn't ovulate, this still hits hard.
So AF question for you ladies.
All the period literature says to found AF/ CD1 as the first day of red blood, so do I count today as cd1 because I am spotting red blood or tomorrow when I have proper flow?
Sorry if that is TMI.

@80sPadme sorry its hitting you hard lovely, sending lots of love.
I always got told to track CD1 from any red blood so I would start it if it is enough for a pad/tampon really. Confusing isn't it especially when in apps they have the spotting and light options for flow!

@80sPadme I had three days of spotting before proper flow this cycle. I put CD1 as the first day of proper flow but I think this was the wrong thing to do as it looked like I ovulated earlier than expected. Will know for certain if AF arrives early next week x

@80sPadme sorry that you’re spotting but perhaps it’ll act as a bit of a reset. I think my most recent cycle was anovulatory and I got my period a couple of days after I started the conceive plus ovulation support. I’m really hoping for a shorter or at least ovulatory cycle this month, CD 18 today so really trying to stay positive and tell myself it will happen. I just get it into my head that I’ll never ovulate again. For what it’s worth, I’ve heard cd1 is the first day of full flow that needs a tampon/pad.
