Hey ladies thanks for the good luck messages this morning. Thankfully all was well! We were sat in shock finally seeing a baby on screen as we've had no scans ever before and we really didn't believe it was real after the 16 months of trying, 2 chemicals and the 5 days of light bleeding/spotting at 6 weeks in this pregnancy. So so grateful to be at this point and I hope many of you get here soon too - everyone deserves it! I won't post a scan photo unless anyone wants to see as I know it's not nice to push in everyone's faces here when things aren't easy. Hope you're all doing ok and sorry I've not been keeping up so well this week I've been so busy with work and was worried all week about the scan too.

@Juno231 Damn NHS keeping you waiting. If it makes you feel any better I was stuck in a packed waiting room sitting waiting for an hour and 45 mins today to get my bloods 😑 it ran over lunch time too I was starving! I hope you hear about the job soon and you can figure out which route to take but whatever happens you'll not be too far from IVF!

@blackcurrantqueen aww sorry you're feeling rubbish but I always tell myself it's worth it! I was never too bad but anytime I was feeling sick and had a migraine I kept reminding myself. It will pass eventually.

@DKDK123 maybe DS is psychic 😆 when I was pregnant with DD, very very early and we'd told no one my cousins DS who was about 5 at the time said auntie B have you got a baby in there so I said no darling I haven't and he said yes you have you're lying 😂 think they have a 6th sense

@2020mission fantastic news, really happy all is well 🥰 I don't mind seeing scan photos not insensitive at all.

Job opportunity has come up at work, sideward step in the same department so salary the same but it’s more my bag, have loads of experience in that field and I think I'd be able to make an impact (they’re stuck in the 90s with a lot of their processes, mainly because a lot of them are dinosaurs themselves 👵🏼🧓🏼) the stress would decrease tenfold, my mobile wouldn’t constantly be going and I’d be able to actually have dinner breaks 😆 but I’ve only been in my post 6 months so don’t want to seem like a journey woman and I am enjoying every day being different at the moment - got time to ponder over 🙈🤔

@bez91 I've come to the conclusion it's not really the length of time for each role on your CV (within reason anyway), it's the story you tell with it. Sounds a bit of a no brainer though...?

@becarefuloutthere no, just took too long getting ready this morning, got to work just on time, then a last minute customer got complicated, so left work too late, then the traffic was bad the bus took double normal time, so asked DH to pick me up from a bus stop, and then took half hour to get there, so lazy dinner at 7.30....

@bez91 I think this bus is the one for new jobs & you had me at "stress decrease tenfold" and surely it would still be variety by the sounds of it?! Plus as an ex headhunter a different role in the same company is not a worry bout job hopping, if you were to do it & want to leave you could always say "you were cherry picked to move into the (dinosaur) team to help update the processes 😉"

CDmillionand20 here, I started wiping brown on Monday after a big spot of bright red blood, since then every day there's only been the slightest bit of brown blood only when wiping but it's up there when I've done a CM check. Only had cramps Sunday/Monday. Seriously? Argh just want this cycle done

In other news I had appointment for my oncology ct scan & mri results today. All clear 🙌🏻but they phoned me 1.5 hours early (not an @Juno231 delay here), and I was in Aldi waiting AT THE CHECKOUT with DS then playing up & I had to explain all about the miscarriage, the dates etc. Made me upset again in Aldi of all places throwing my food in the bags!

Oh and my smear next week cancelled after my doctors also phoned me & said "we've just realised you can't have a smear for 3 months after a miscarriage" so even if we wanted to do ivf again we couldn't as you can't do Ivf for 3 cycles AND have to have an up to date smear

So I used to squat and hip thrust quite heavy but since my back got worse and my knees started getting bad I've steered away from them, today in my pt we decided to go for it again, I forgot how uncomfortable thrusting heavy can be when you havent done it for a while!! All across my hips and pubic bone is so so bruised and sore to touch! If that hasn't put a downer on my day, I should've been flying to Mexico today, and another downer, found a house that we lovedddd, amazing features and character inside, booked a viewing for Saturday morning, OH went to drive round on the way home from the gym to have a look and said that around the house like the street really wasn't what he expected and it's put him off a bit, I was so excited about this one but suppose I'll get more of a feel of it when we go and look!

I find myself bruised quite often from the bar @Vil10, usually front squats and then get bruised collar bones/sometimes boobs! Really annoying!

@Minster2012 🥳🥳🥳🥳 for all clears!! Excellent news! I'm sorry to had to go through all your miscarriage story in Aldi though, that's tough. Come on AF...3 cycles will fly by as that'll take us through the summer and you'll have summer things to do and a new house to play with!

I did an IC and not even the faintest shadow. Will test again on Sunday if nothing. Deffo blaming Mr Pfizer (tbf im all for the actual jab just not a fan of limbo land!)

Also I just consulted the now not used apps and last cycle was 30 days so if that's the case AF due tomorrow so not even late! Apologies all for any tiny stirrings of excitement on my behalf...!

The good news is - I had my arm pinned and plated today, and so hopefully on my way to recovery! 🥳
The bad news was - the nerve block wore off before the operation had finished, and it was the most horrific experience of my life. They did try throwing all sorts at me but it was less than ideal. 😫 Which also meant we weren't on top of pain relief properly afterwards either, and i actually thought my arm was going explode. Nearly ended up staying in! 🙈 They just couldn't get the pain relief under control. To the point I was crying. They have sent me home with proper painkillers though now. Got to go back in 2 weeks to have it checked.

I definitely do not recommend it. Get a general anaesthetic! 🤣

They also xrayed me 1000 times. They asked if I thought I'd be pregnant and if so would test. But I'm only 6dpo at the earliest. So nothing would show. So I just said no and hoped for the best 🙄

@paintfairy great news on the arm! Exactly, I don't begrudge anyone's decision in the end of the day for me with DH's job and my health issues it was mine and my GP's decision.

@minster2012 great news on the scans, sorry you had to have the call though in aldi with the speedy checkout brigade!

@vil10 just try and keep an open mind on the house, DH and I didn't like our house at all till we saw another 5 mins away and we then realised we loved this one!

@minster2012 nope bloody FRERs. I have one left, I clearly have nothing better to spend money on 🙄🙄 not! Next month when I feel the urge to buy a test I'm going to put a fiver in a tub and at the end of the month buy ONE test and spend the rest on something for myself if its a BFN 😂
