Ooh hello @snow90 I'm not alone after all lol I always find it disappointing even though it's been over 3 years ttc for me there's stil that slither of hope each month!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 06/07/2021 08:45

@Marvellouslymadmum how's the LH rise going? Hoping it's a smoother month this month

@snow90 hi hope the soy works for you again this month!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it's not lol so far I had a slight rise in Lh but the clearblue digital advance that check Lh and oestrogen still has a big fat ⭕️ on it so no proper rise yet and cd11! How are you?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 06/07/2021 09:22

@Marvellouslymadmum ah CD11 is still quite early! Did you have a nice weekend? I'm good thanks, had a family bbq with mum and sisters and partners so was lovely to catch up. And decent enough weather also!

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 06/07/2021 09:39

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yes I can ovulate anywhere from about now upwards really but usually start to get a flashy by now apart from the weird months so hopefully soon!
Weekend was ok thank you apart from washing machine and tumble dryer breaking 🙄 so had to sort that out. Glad you had a nice bbq it's been a bit dryer here but today is miserable, rainy and windy and horrible

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 07/07/2021 13:21

@Marvellouslymadmum oh no that sounds annoying re the washing machine! All fixed? How're you going with the flashy faces now?

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 08/07/2021 09:22

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 no had to get a new one, we'll order a new one - it's really difficult to get washing machines and tumble dryers anywhere! They only had the cheapest washing machines or really expensive ones and no condenser tumble dryers in stock anywhere so have to wait until Tuesday for
Delivery. I actually got a flashy smiley yesterday and today but also had some bleeding for the last couple of days, what I would call more than spotting but not full flow - very odd as it's mid cycle and I never have this normally 🤷🏼‍♀️

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 08/07/2021 23:25

@Marvellouslymadmum ah yay for the flashing smiley! But not so good about the mid cycle spotting. Is it painful?

I had acupuncture today, and she was telling me about her time working at a fertility clinic where they took a multi disciplined approach to fertility. Adenmyosis and endometriosis were both conditions she said she'd successfully treated with acupuncture for fertility. So if the gynaecologist is slow or rubbish, it might be something that could help

How's everyone else doing?

OP posts:
choccrumpet · 09/07/2021 08:46

@Marvellouslymadmum mid cycle spotting is a bit strange, considering you've not experienced it before too. I was also wondering if acupuncture could help, if you can afford it it's definitely worth a try.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 nothing new here, just trying to get through work day after day, have no motivation to do any actual work so this week has been tough in that way. My nausea has almost cleared up which is a bit odd, kind of expecting it to return at any time. Woke up this morning and boobs don't feel as sore so again trying not to over think it. Had quite sore cramps last night out of nowhere but I actually think it was to do with something I ate for dinner as I wasn't well afterwards (won't go into detail) and the cramps stopped after so am hoping it was just that and nothing else. So hard not to overthink

How are you?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 09/07/2021 08:56

@choccrumpet I'm the same, boobs don't feel sore sometimes, and really not that much now. I don't feel that sick a lot either. And when I do, I'm actually wondering if it's just discomfort from constipation and bloating 🙈
I asked the midwife at my booking this week about symptoms reducing and she didn't seem bothered about it at all- said its different for everyone and you can be getting used to the hormones. So 🤷‍♀️.

OP posts:
choccrumpet · 09/07/2021 09:07

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yep that's what I was thinking. Sounds like your nausea hasn't been awful either? Don't want to say it too early... how did your booking appointment go?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 09/07/2021 09:10

@choccrumpet I mean its really just a lot of questions about your health, alcohol and drug usage, safety at home, exact genetic background etc and urine and blood tests etc. It was pretty boring actually. When's yours?
No not really too bad nausea, noticed it's mainly in the evening, and waves of nausea for an hour or so and then a lot better. But acupuncturist has been treating me for nausea, so maybe it's that 🤷‍♀️ are you still doing acupuncture?

OP posts:
choccrumpet · 09/07/2021 09:20

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 doesn't sound exciting but one step forward I guess 😅 mine is next Tuesday.

Interesting, I wonder if that did help. Yeah I went yesterday and have said I'll keep going monthly as a little top up. This time around I don't think I'll see the benefits of it, it's probably streamlining my organs and other things inside my body but it's not visible to me if that makes sense so it does feel a bit silly to keep going but at the same time it's helped me up until now so it won't hurt to keep going. I'll probably take it a session at a time and see how I feel about it then. Are you still going to yours?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 09/07/2021 10:14

@choccrumpet yes weekly to mine, and she reckons it does treat the side effects - gives me special points for nausea relief etc as well. Ah maybe that's why you're not feeling too awful now then, as it's cumulative? I can't wait to drop mine down a bit, it's expensive and a faff getting there every week

OP posts:
choccrumpet · 09/07/2021 10:37

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 no idea, hopefully it's hormones evening out now and not for other reasons. Still struggling to eat and cook though and am pretty tired. Yeah I'm glad I'm doing mine less frequently because of cost.

It's a weird time now between scans when you don't really know if things are progressing as they should or not. So you just go about normal life hoping for the best 🤷🏼‍♀️ feels a bit odd, don't know what to do with myself

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 09/07/2021 11:44

@choccrumpet I'm the same, I mostly just try to ignore it for now. It is a weird time. I think it must be normal for symptoms to fluctuate and reduce, I've read enough threads where people have had that happen and scan has been fine. But it's the waiting!

OP posts:
choccrumpet · 09/07/2021 11:49

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 that's good to know. I'll probably think about booking another private scan between now and 12 weeks to break up the wait. Have you had or are planning anymore scans?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 09/07/2021 12:12

@choccrumpet I haven't had another yet. But my 12 week scan isn't booked until more than 13 weeks, so I might go for one next week to break it up as you say.

Another one could be good, and at ten weeks apparently you can see waving arms which could be cute!

@choccrumpet @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 you ladies are lucky re morning sickness. I’ve vomited 3 times today 😩. That’s why I’ve been so quiet on this thread I’ve been on my own planet all day nausea just trying to get through each day.

@Choccrumpet Also re the boobs tenderness definitely comes and goes so don’t read into it. Mine are barely even sore now, just a bit in the morning. They haven’t really been sore since around 6 weeks and I’m 8+2 today x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/07/2021 15:49

@Slk3558 sounds awful, hope you're feeling better soon!

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 11/07/2021 00:24

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 no, mot painful at all it's quite strange! I am definitely thinking of looking into acupuncture I'm just worried I'll get one that doesn't know what they're doing 😂
@choccrumpet @Slk3558 glad you're all doing well, hope gone nausea is g too bad for you all

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 11/07/2021 08:10

@Marvellouslymadmum if you do decide to try it, could post for recommendations in your area. Also phone them up and ask what fertility expertise they have, what fertility training they did, and whether they've much practical experience with adenmyosis and if so what. Call a few and pick the best sounding one. Some of the local fertility clinics might be able to recommend one also.
Hope you've had a lovely weekend! Glad you've not had pain

Marvellouslymadmum · 12/07/2021 12:24

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 that's a good idea, I'll definitely do that if I decide to go for it. Spoke to the doc this morning and she just said keep tracking this month and see if that was an extra af which I don't think it is as I've got 7 flashy smilies in a row so think I've will arrive next couple of days
