@October1979 I am so, so, so sorry to read your update, and for the fact this has happened to you. Sending love and hugs as you grieve XxX

ponymum1980 · 04/08/2021 21:27

So sorry @October1979. Sending love. X

Mattieandmummy · 04/08/2021 21:36

I'm so sorry @October1979 xx

Catconfusion · 05/08/2021 07:04

Thinking of you today @October1979 💐❤️Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 05/08/2021 12:48

@Jem1979 yes day 21 and day 3 tests and any vitamin etc deficiency tests too. With the iron I had low levels in both my pregnancies and also got pg and had a miscarriage before I had my iron levels tested which could've been down to the low iron as mine was very low.

@ponymum1980 it can take quite some time for your cycles to become normal after leaving bc I've seen some people it takes around 11 months

@October1979 I'm so so Sorry. I really was hopeful for you this time I hope you're being well looked after sending lots of virtual hugs xx

Littlemiss41andfabulous · 05/08/2021 16:48

@October1979 thinking of you and sending lots of love and hugs. I hope you are being well looked after XxX

October1979 · 06/08/2021 13:31

Thank you for all your kind words and thoughts. Yesterday was difficult. However the nursing staff were excellent. They have sent everything off for testing and referred me to a reoccurring miscarriage clinic. So I feel more positive that I have support and help that I didn't have up till now. Hopefully I will get some answers xxx

@October1979 I’m so sorry to hear this news. it is so devastating to have your hopes raised and then fall like this and I am so sad for your losses. I hope the process is not too traumatic and sending lots of big virtual hugs your way. Take good care of yourself Xx

Honey2 · 06/08/2021 20:36

@October1979 that’s good you have been referred and they are doing tests for this MC. Hopefully this could be the a real turning point. I am booked in for my appointment at the recurrent MC clinic on 17th Aug - so I will let you know what tests they do etc. I may or may not be preg at the apt, I’m 8dpo today so will test on Sunday. Not sure I’m feeling it this month ☹️ But perhaps for the best, probably ought to get the tests done first rather than going round and round in circles. Sending lots of hugs x

@Catconfusion are you doing ok?

October1979 · 06/08/2021 20:43

@Honey2 I know you are going through the same thing as me that would be great to share what we both find out. I've decided not to wait to ttc for the appointment and let nature take its course also. Once I get my appointment letter I may avoid it that month if I get enough notice. But feel positive I'm now in the system and getting some support. Let's hope it makes the difference for both of us xxx

@Honey2 and @October1979 I think it’s so sad you’ve had to have multiple losses before it’s properly investigated. Still it’s good you’re in the system now and can get some testing done. Please don’t give up hope.

@October1979 I’m glad you’re feeling positive after such a traumatic experience.

@Honey2 good luck for when you test. I really hope you get a surprise. I’m good thanks. I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and all is going well. I’ve already started vomiting so I’m feeling quite rough but I was like this with DS so I think it’s just my reaction to pregnancy. I’ve got a referral to the EPAU so will have my first scan in the next week. I’m nervous but a little excited too. I have extreme symptoms but then I did with my first pregnancy which was a mmc. So I don’t really trust the symptoms to mean all is well. However I’m glad I have got the sickness because I’d be freaking out if I didn’t feel sick if that makes sense. Xx

October1979 · 07/08/2021 10:32

@Catconfusion I'm so pleased everything is going well for you. I have everything crossed that your scan goes well. Good luck for next week xxx

Thank you so much @October1979 it means a lot. I guess we’ll see what happens! Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/08/2021 13:15

@October1979 it's really good that they're being proactive about this loss and investing for you, at least it may give you more hope for future pregnancies.

@Catconfusion glad everything is going well for you so far, good luck for the impending scan

Honey2 · 08/08/2021 18:03

Feeling so low today. BFN at 10dpo today ☹️ It’s probably for the best as I ought to wait and see what they find at the MC clinic. But can’t help but feel like I need to think about giving up and be happy with the family I have. Starting to question everything now - could it be the covid jab? Could it be the Ubiquinol?? Thinking of all the things I’ve done different this time from when I had my last baby 5 years ago. I guess the reality is I’m just 5 years older! Blaaaaah. Today is a crap day.

Honey2 · 08/08/2021 18:06

@Catconfusion sorry meant to says thanks for your comments and I’m really please things are going well and you are feeling so sick! (Sorry hehe) good luck for the scan.

Mattieandmummy · 08/08/2021 18:51

@Honey2 just to say I totally understand this, had my last baby coming up for three years ago and boy am I sad about it. I don't have the heart for IVF so we're talking very seriously about adoption now.

Marvellouslymadmum · 08/08/2021 22:19

@Honey2 sorry you're feeling low, I know how you feel. I abs no issues at all having my two children (now 15&16) and even managed to get pregnant by accident on the pill 4.5 years ago but that ended in mc and now just nothing. I'm just hoping the gynae team will find a reason and fix it but I don't hold out too much hope anymore, ttc is such a hard journey!

Gemandi2 · 09/08/2021 16:27

@October1979 I am so so sorry to hear your devastating news - no amount of words will ease the way you are feeling but I send you love & hugs x

Gemandi2 · 09/08/2021 16:36

@Honey2 I'm the same and with you. I had to move away from MN for a while as I just felt so down after the MC and needed time away from talking about what had happened and what we were trying to do and just try and get myself back up on my feet. I know the MC only occurred at beginning of June but it feels like an age and also feels like time is truly running out for me to conceive again. I know I should be happy enough with the two children I've got but the thought of not having one more LO leaves me feeling bereft - anyhow we have to dust ourselves down and try and carry on (sorry not much of a motivational speech) but I totally get it - I know this is only cycle 9 and in that time I've been pregnant but with my last child was conceived within 3 months so just makes me 😔

Honey2 · 09/08/2021 16:55

@Marvellouslymadmum @Gemandi2 @Mattieandmummy thanks all for your comments and support.
I’ve just been looking at articles on what they test at the recurrent miscarriage clinic and It seems it’s basically blood tests for clotting disorders. Which Im not convinced is an issue for me as I was already on Herparin and Asprin in my first MC and still had a MC! I totally feel like they are going to tell me it’s my age. I’ve had 2 mc and 1 chemical in the last 6 months and I just feel like surely I deserve to get one good egg!!!

Gemandi2 · 09/08/2021 17:12

@Honey2 that doesn't seem like much testing when you consider the pain and agony you've been through to arrive at their clinic. And if they point to your age it will just make you want to bop them one - I agree just one or two good eggs not much to ask

Mattieandmummy · 09/08/2021 19:36

@Marvellouslymadmum I spoke to a nutritionist today and she said for adenomyosis and endo she always recommends going gluten free and no red meat to try to reduce the bodies immune inflammatory response. And cut your dairy right down to one full fat organic portion a day because cows in this country are given lots of estrogen and it comes through to their milk and you really don't want any extra estrogen with adenomyosis. Anyhoo thought I'd pass that on x

October1979 · 09/08/2021 20:01

@Mattieandmummy @Gemandi2 @Honey2 @Marvellouslymadmum I totally get the feeling low. I am beginning to think will it ever happen or am I going to have to accept I will never have my own child. 2 missed miscarriages and 4 Chemicals in 15 months. I am beginning to think I have no good eggs left. I wish there was a way to know. Big hugs to you all xxx

Hi all, I'm 40 and ttc for my first child- I started trying last September and gave up for a few months since June as I got fed up with periods. But I've quit the mini pill again and am hoping dietary changes I'm making will get me pregnant. I've quit alcohol and coffee and am eating more fruit and veg. Anyone got any other tips on helpful diet changes? Is full fat dairy good or not? Or organic dairy?
Thanks in advance and baby dust be with you all xx
