Is this an evaporation line?

Hello ladies,

I know I'm probably just trying to cling on to something that I should disregard but I'm so desperate to get a positive after a very long time trying.

I'm currently 12dpo and I took a test this morning using a clear blue rapid detection test. I waited 3 minutes and couldn't see a line but 45 minutes later I looked and there is a clear line. I know you're meant to disregard test results after 10 minutes but I looked at the test I did the day before at 11dpo and that too has a line but much much fainter.

I'm I getting my hopes up for no reason do you think?

The first picture is today's, and the second picture is both today's and yesterday.

My clear blue turned positive after the timeframe with my current pregnancy when I was very early pregnant.. definitely try a pink dye one

Oh really, that's interesting.
I have some first response tests arriving today so we'll see. My husband is telling me not to get my hopes up but it's so hard not to.

Those look positive to me, I know blue dye tests are notorious for evaps but they look like they have colour and I’m pretty sure evaps don’t? Fingers crossed for you!

Ok so I just received my FR test. I should have waited until the morning but I couldn't resist. My wee was pretty clear too.

Anyway, I think I see a really really faint line, I think?!

I can definitely see a line without zooming in! Tentative congratulations, my line was like that and she's now 2.5yrs old!

We paid for an fertility MOT a few weeks ago after 18 months of trying, and they gave me progesterone pessaries for my short luteal phase to try before going down another route. So I have everything crossed that's all I needed!

Those tests are always designed to have 2 lines on them. If you are taking them apart (not advisable but hey we've all done it 🤣🤦‍♀️!) you need to look at both strips (put them next to each other) as it's the darkness of the 3 lines (2 on one strip and one on the other) which determine if it's BFN / 1-2 wks / 2-3 wks / 3+

I recently used a FRER that gave me a false positive. It was a definite line like your but then I got my AF a few days later :-(

@Emmyanddreams I'm so sorry :( did that line have colour? Frer have been bad for indents recently :( I hope you get your bfp soon!

@80sPadme it's possible that it wasn't a false positive (I'd definitely pink and in the time frame false positives are extremely rare) it's possible it was an indent or a chemical pregnancy (I've had 5 now 😩)

Sorry I don't know what a chemical pregnancy is but mine was not an indent.
It was a pink line, came up within 2 mins and was getting darker. Was a clear pink line and not clear link an indent.

@Sleepyquest I don't know for sure yet but it's looking like I am. I'm on progesterone which I've been told to take for two weeks, then take a test. If it's negative then stop taking progesterone to allow my period to start. So I have two days left to get a positive!

Hello me again! So last night was supposed to be my last day on progesterone unless I get a positive.

Just did another FR test and this faint line came up within 3 minutes and is still there 10 minutes on. Do you think this is just an indent line?

According to my BBT chart and Opk I should be around 15/16 dpo. I would expect to have a much stronger line by now if I were pregnant. But I don't want to stop with the progesterone if there is still a chance.

What's your opinion, you can be brutally honest
