Hi everyone. So I had my Pfizer vaccine this afternoon and feel okay but my LH was starting to go up this morning and had doubled by lunch time which normally means my peak is later the same day or the next morning and I just tested again and it’s gone back down to zero! So weird. Anyone else had the same thing when they have had a dose? Wondering it I’ll still ovulate in the next few days or if it’ll be delayed while my body deals with the vaccine.

I've had a load of EWCM yet my opk still says low?? Confused. Might do another one, I've held my wee for ages since!
DH hungover and very sleepy so I can already feel the annoyance building for later as I'm sure he will fall asleep very soon. Bloody hell.

Yeah it’s completely zero now but my Femometer app was giving my LH tests 27% at 7am then 60% at lunch time... normally goes up to 200% /peak about 12 hours after then and I confirm with a CB. I also track BBT but that’s probably going to be messed up now too. Hoping i still ovulate at some point this cycle @Sunshinedaisybuttermellow

@Lovebug06 every single opk I've done has come up as 0% even the picture I posted a couple of days ago with a pretty clear line. I had loads of ewcm up to a couple of days ago, and it stopping coincided with the opk with visible line so I'm wondering if I did ovulate and missed it. All cm has completely dried up since so possibly 🤷‍♀️. Definitely didn't DTD at the right time if so though. Hopefully your DH is up for it tonight so you can catch ovulation!

@AllyCat31 that's so strange! Have you done another opk tonight? Hopefully it's a fluke, maybe your urine was too dilute?

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow I wonder if I somehow missed it too. I had ewcm in the day but then the opk said it was lower than before. Strange I'll just see what happens the next few days I guess.
Managed to keep dh awake somehow so dtd incase 🤣

Just a wee update from my side of things. Fertile time is here. Doing a low key month so testing each morning using the CB digital sticks but that’s it. No temping at all then just DTD every other day instead of stressing about timing etc and have just gotten my app for my first consult with the fertility doc next week. Also just found out two friends are starting to try now too so not gonna lie, while I have all my fingers crossed for them I’m already dreading being told theyre expecting. Struggle with comparison so working on keeping my eyes on my own lane. Always difficult with this TTC journey.

We only managed to DTD on 23rd and 29th. According to femometer 29th was ovulation day, but I'm not convinced. I had tons of ewcm on 27th and no cm at all since really. A couple of tiny bits of ewcm texture when wiping, but nothing compared to 27th. But all opks have been completely zero so who knows.
I'm still doing opks to see if I get any results on any.

@AllyCat31 are you temping as well?

Yeah I am @Sunshinedaisybuttermellow and it looks like my temp is slowly creeping down like it usually does before I ovulate (Thankfully no fever from the vaccine to mess up my chart). Just done an OPK now and got 2% . I got 11% this morning so it’s staying low. My app thinks I’ll ovulate at the weekend but that’s based off last cycle and every cycle has been a different length so I’m just replying on OPKs and temping to work it out. Little bit annoyed if I don’t peak and ovulate this month cause of the vaccine but it’s still early for us TTC

@sunshinedaisybuttermellow @lovebug06 in my experience even if I have caught a + on an OPK and I got EWCM it doesn't mean I ovulated, so keep DTD every other day (or every 3rd) just in case! 😁

@juno231 how are you did? did you continue to bleed or was it just spotting at 10DPO?

I'm back from our camping trip. I'm sunburned and exhausted but managed to sneak off and DTD (which was just as well as I had lots of EWCM too!). Taking my temp was a bit pointless as the night time temps were really low so I look like I have hypothermia 😆

Morning ladies. My temp shot up this morning... another on time ovulation?? Or just because I haven't woke up in a tent covered in dew? 😆

If it is ovulation then this will be my earliest 😁 and I will be highly recommending the Conceive plus ovulation support along side their fertility support tablets to anyone with long cycles or absent ovulation!

On the downside my coverage hasn't been brilliant as I spent my fertile period sleeping on a blow up bed with my 10 Yr old niece 😆

@Kay00 that looks like ovulation to me - great news! I’ve heard good things about conceive plus - are they the ones with q10 in?

Definitely the place I've been looking for! Can I join please? I've been on the mini pill for the last 15 years and came off 2nd Feb...was treated for abnormal cervical cells in Dec but now I'm just waiting for AF to arrive so I can make sense of it all!!

@JoeMalon3y welcome! Sorry to hear about the abnormal cells but great that they were caught early. I hope AF arrives soon for you

Nothing much new here. The fertility clinic advised I go to a GU clinic to get looked at because I keep on getting what I though was reoccurring thrush.

Turns out I don’t have thrush but what I have is still unexplained. It came on from antibiotics I took and so it definitely started off as thrush but now I think I’ve developed dermatitis there.

Anyway I started using aqueous cream down there as recommended and it has helped!

I used opk strips and started temping to check if I ovulated and I definitely did and we did lots of dtd so here’s hoping.

@Kay00 that definitely looks like ovulation. I hope you enjoyed this camping trip, fab weather for it!

@Tillybabs that's interesting! were your symptoms just like thrush? I seem to be getting it every couple of months atm...

So I had a really strong bleed on Friday at 10DPO - but it was bright, bright red like from a wound and not my usual AF. It only lasted 1 day and on Monday I started what I think is actual AF. All a bit weird but at least I don't think it was a 9 day LP but instead my normal 12...

@Juno231 I get some itching and inside my vagina feels swollen and tender. I now get it straight after my period. So now I’m switching to cotton pads only and going to try a moon cup. I’m wondering if the pads are irritating me as that seems to be the case.

I don’t get any discharge though which made me question if it wasn’t thrush.

Has anyone else found since coming off the pill, that they’ve developed acne or get random spots? I’ve been getting massive blind pimples on my chin. I have always had very clear skin all my life and I’ve suddenly developed these massive spots on my chin.

@Kay00 I think you were right about the false start (my positive OPK on day 12 with no temp rise). I'm CD29 here with no AF and instead I got a cracker of a positive on an OPK cheapie and ANOTHER CB static smiley. :( god knows what's going on. Late ovulation maybe.

I guess I'll start temping again. I'll listen to you next time rather than discarding all temp related stuff because it's not saying what I want it to say!

I think I'll buy that ovulation support stuff too.

@WhirlingD Sorry Of course I never hope I'm right when I'm suggesting someone hasn't ovulated, when they think they might have. Are you able to jump your man today?

I am really seeing great things from this Conceive Plus range. @AllyCat31 yes, the Ovulation Support tablets are the ones with the Q10 in, they also have Myo-Insoltol, D-Chrio-Insoltol and a little extra Folic Acid too. The Fertility Support tablets are like a standard pre-natal tablet so I take them too but they aren't cheap together!

@Tillybabs oh you poor thing that sounds so painful. Really glad to hear your new cream is helping. Hopefully it will clear up soon, and hopefully your moon cup helps!

@Juno231 Damn. I've had a flash of bright red blood a few days before AF arrived a couple of times. I have to admit that it got my hopes up both times (and I had my hopes up for your too), but I think I'm just partial to a bit of spotting/cervical erosion.

@kay00 ah yes when it first started I got hopeful but then it got quite heavy - like heavier than my AF is normally. I assume it's some kind of lap side effect.

@WhirlingD jump OH today and don't despair, your egg might show tomorrow instead!

@Tillybabs so chin spots like that are a common TWW symptom for a lot of women. So it could be pill related but might not be.

@kay00 scrap that - I had the jab last Tuesday so I reckon that's why I bled! Lots of women are reporting weird bleeds and it affecting their cycles.

@Juno231 yes I read spots on the chin are hormonal. They have been massive and the type that is under the skin. The things we going through eh!

I had the Pfizer jab just over 2 weeks ago and don’t think I had any reaction to it. I definitely didn’t have any abnormal bleeding but everyone is different.
