It does sound like a busy week! Exciting too. @crazycatlady1981 it sounds like you've got an excellent starting point! It's gonna be a busy and exciting week.

@notyetamumbuttrying fingers and toes crossed. It sounds like you're doing really well keeping busy and holding out testing!

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker 50/50? Is that IVF success rates? My doctor told me I had a 50% each cycle success rate with IVF because I have a high AMH (I'm 35). It sounded a bit high though and he wanted me to pay for the IVF privately so thought it was a sales pitch.

I took my letrozole finishing late last week so I'm now on cycle day 9. My LH test showed 35% this morning. I think 25-30% is base line for me and sometimes I get a 100-200% peak. Wondering how soon I might ovulate if cycle day 17 is standard for me minus the letrozole.

thislittlebird · 14/06/2021 12:08

@CycleGirl20 I got told 50% or slightly over 50 (can’t remember) by the Lister for high AMH. They have a success rate calculator online but obviously it can’t account for any obstacles that negate the positives of a high AMH.

I don’t think it’s a sales pitch stat, she was actually pushing me to go back to the nhs over our unexplained diagnosis on the same call as she said this.

thislittlebird · 14/06/2021 12:09

Just found the notes I made: 52% conception rate, 35% live birth rate for my age (38) and AMH (36).

thislittlebird · 14/06/2021 12:09

That’s based on their own stats btw, obviously each clinic will vary slightly but it’s similar sounding

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 12:23

52% is positive. Good numbers.

I've been feeling sick today so I thought I'd take a test, largely because I got a massive bag of about 40 One Stops from Amazon. Baring in mind it's currently cycle day 9 and I had a 4 day period last week of which 2 days were pretty heavy. I'm pretty sure it's the heat making me feel off and I'm not preggers. Got this result. Looks like a pretty dodgy dye run. I would be 20 days post ovulation so would expect a clearer line if I was, in spite of not having waited to go since I last peed and drinking a lot. I think I might need better tests. I've been drinking this weekend too. 😅

notyetamumbuttrying · 14/06/2021 12:28

@CycleGirl20 thank you 😊
Interesting test, probably is a dye run though going off your dates.

crazycatlady1981 · 14/06/2021 12:29

@thislittlebird wow that’s good stats! We were told 24% chance of pregnancy, 12% chance of live birth with my age being 39 and lowish AMH! So we haven’t got the highest expectations!!

@polejunkie yep I’ve been on buserelin injections! Starting on 300 ovaleap on Wednesday hopefully and then switch to menopur 300 after 5 days. Need to revisit the ovaleap video and work it out again! I think they recommend you take it out of fridge before injecting as it hurts less or something if it’s not as cold! But not sure if you should leave it out of fridge for too long in this heat!
I’m just going to doing mine at same time as buserelin.

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 12:31

You can see the purple line across the top of the dye escaping. I'd be about 5-6 weeks by now so that's too faint. I'll try again later as they've not done this to me before and I'm not wasting a frer on a dye run!

thislittlebird · 14/06/2021 13:24

@crazycatlady1981 yeah I was pleased with that. My husband was all “oh, that’s really low” I had to point out it’s actually pretty good, all things considered. My fear is his iffy sperm are going to drag those stats right down, or maybe my eggs will be rubbish, we shall see! It only takes one and all that, so fingers crossed for yours!

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 15:09

It turns out my tap water is pregnant too! Top two are me and the tap water. A little clearer in real life. Bottom is a false other brand. Glad that didn't happen to me when I might actually have been pregnant. That would have been awful

polejunkie · 14/06/2021 15:24

@CycleGirl20 what on earth, that's ridiculous

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 15:26

Yeah it's pretty bad. It's a very faint squinter but I can see it easily in real life. Might avoid those tests in future 😬

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 18:42

I was sure I saw someone talking about their DH sperm results in terms of how the count + motility (+morphology) add up. Something like you need 11 million good ones. I wanted to catch up on that convo as my other half has lowish count but I cannot for the life of me find it now in the thread! The doctor thought DH' count was ok-ish. But then we're still not pregnant!

thislittlebird · 14/06/2021 18:48

Maybe me @CycleGirl20? I saw a urologist about husband’s poor SA results. NHS told us no problem but urologist we saw said you need 20 mil progressively motile sperm, DH has 11 mil. High count but high % of immotile swimmers too.

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 18:52

Thanks @thislittlebird. My DH has 50m count but 35% motility and 2% morphology. The doctor thought the morphology was ok even though it's low. Seems low to me though 🤨

Aimzie · 14/06/2021 18:52

Hope your all doing good ❤️❤️
How are you @notyetamumbuttrying, when are you going to test 💕💕👀👀 so I can come back and check ❤️

notyetamumbuttrying · 14/06/2021 18:58

@Aimzie hello lovely! How are you? I was gonna wait until Thursday but don't think I can now as it feels like my period is coming!! So probably tomorrow unless I can talk myself out of it overnight. Just don't wanna see that bloody white space as always! 😩

OP posts:
thislittlebird · 14/06/2021 19:27

@CycleGirl20 so your DH has about 17.5mil which isn’t far off? They don’t seem so worried about the morphology in my encounters so far, but yeah it is a bit low, one of my DH’s was a bit below the parameter for morphology too. Check out the podcasts with Mr Ramsay online, I found them really interesting. This one was good www.thefertilitypodcast.com/rich/

@notyetamumbuttrying will they call you tomorrow?

polejunkie · 14/06/2021 19:43

@notyetamumbuttrying I really hope your period doesn’t arrive!

I don’t understand the SA in all honesty, my OH has low count 11million with motility and morphology 21/24% but they just said that pregnancy could’ve achieved and not much else?!

2020mission · 14/06/2021 19:59

@notyetamumbuttrying what symptoms are you feeling that's making you think your period is coming? Worth remembering mild cramping is common with early pregnancy too, so if it's mostly that you have, you're still in with a chance. Still keeping hopeful for you!

notyetamumbuttrying · 14/06/2021 20:21

@thislittlebird do you mean the nurses? No they won't. I have to call on otd with the outcome so that's on Thursday. I'm now thinking I won't test tomorrow and just see if AF arrives like I suspect. At least then it won't be bfn and af the same day!!
@polejunkie thank you, me too!
That morphology number seems off. It's usually 4% as the average.
@2020mission my usual pre AF symptoms of being emotional, pains, heavy vagina feeling. The progesterone pessaries gives these "symptoms" too so you couldn't say they were pregnancy even if they were because of the pessaries. Thanks for the optimism tho, I need to protect my heart and have my pragmatic brain in gear too xx

OP posts:
polejunkie · 14/06/2021 20:26

@notyetamumbuttrying Oops maybe it was 4% 🤷🏼‍♀️ I probably wrote it down wrong! Ah well we’ll soon find out whether the little swimmers are any good or not!
Completely understand your pragmatic approach, hold off if you can until Thursday hard as it will be ✨ x

CycleGirl20 · 14/06/2021 21:25

@notyetamumbuttrying it sounds like you've got a good, balanced approach and are looking after yourself. The symptoms either way are so similar. It seems so unfair that our bodies do that!

Narwhal88 · 14/06/2021 21:46

@notyetamumbuttrying I had that feeling in my tww but my period never came even though I wasn't pregnant as the progesterone kept it away. How much progesterone are you on? I honestly think the progesterone causes exactly the same symptoms so there's no way to know if it's worked! So you are definitely still in the game. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

notyetamumbuttrying · 14/06/2021 22:08

Thank you ladies 😘

@Narwhal88 pesky progesterone! I'm on 200 twice a day. It honestly feels like AF is coming so badly, I'm close to taking painkillers! Getting leg aches, the lot! Might go to bed. Hopefully I'll feel more optimistic in the morning if AF doesn't show.
